Dropbox Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice

I need access to my files from various computers and Dropbox is a safe way for that to occur. It is easy to use and seemless in operation.

I have not identified any downsides to using Dropbox.

Using my files on different computers.

I can auto transfer my pics from my phone to my desktop, as well as share files easily with others.

Sometimes phone app doesn't automatically transfer to desktop.

Sharing large files

User-friendly is key for apps and it doesn't get simpler than DropBox. In addition to being easy to use and providing instant access from all my devices, I trust that all my data is securely saved in the Cloud. I travel and work from many locations and this app is awesome.

I haven't experienced one downside to Dropbox.

Solves the problem of real-time back-up of all my work. My internet speed is not top notch so the services that back everything up daily get bogged down and don't work for me.

It is very convenient cloud storage service

I do not think that there are any downsodes for using Dropbox. The only inconvenience is about sharing files with ios APP, that sends the link, instead of attached file.

The pricing is a bit high and it forces you to upgrade to the Pro plan.

Syncing our design files

Dropbox is easy to navigate and share. Signing in is quick and I can easily find the folder that I am searching for. I am able to upload and share documents with other members of my team in seconds.

I still haven't figured out how to teach someone else to sign in to a shared Dropbox account

For shared files if you use certain characters in the folder name it won't save.

We are able to share client documentation that has sensitive info in a secure manner.

While in school, Dropbox has made our so easy to be able to create files for each class while organizing each folder. I also store other valuable files as well.

I like that I can seemlessly synchronize files accross multiple devices and retain cloud backups at the same time. It doesn't require a Microsoft Account, I can pick any folder to use, I can select which folder to keep local. The cost for the storage and feaures is very resonable. One of the features I like best is taking photos with my phone and then having them on my PC so that I can write reports without even having to think about it. This is one of those technologies that is almost transparent and works so well that it just becomes a normal part of everyday life.

Since they fixed all of the things I previously disliked all I can come up with for dislikes is it would be nice if I could select multiple foders to upload to dropbox, instead of having one drop box folder on my PC. I wish it could keep Apple live photos in a native format, but maybe it does that not too, I don't know. Also, I guess another bad thing is that now I'm totally dependent on it. Since everything is in the cloud and accessible from everywhere via my phone and since I can just log in from any PC with a web browser I'm too spoiled and can never go back.

I can share files and espeically useful for very large files that would be otherwise impossible for me to share without investing in another product or service.

I think the best thing about using Dropbox is that you are almost never aware you are using it. The documents you store there are available across platforms and devices, and soon after you start with it, all its key features function by default.

I have been using Dropbox for more than 10 years now, and honestly, I cannot think of a single thing that I don't like about the software. They go it right and seem to have focused on keeping functionality robust rather than adding new features for the sake of innovation.

I work primarily from home but our firm has three locations I need to visit on an as-needed basis. Dropbox makes sure I have access to the documents and files I need no matter where I am working.

I lost some files and i did not detect the delection so i let a lot of time pass by and could never recover the files. The Customer support was helpfull but too much time as passed by.

Accessing data from anywhere.

Dropbox makes sending files to clients easy and it looks extremely professional, because of the customization that can be done for the clients end (our logo on the top, etc). I use Dropbox on a daily basis and is one of my number one tools. I also love how easy it is to integrate Dropbox files into my Wix site and the many apps that can feed into it. It's is also extremely easy to upload files with a basic drag and drop. Implementing it into my workflow was a breeze.

There is very little I dislike about Dropbox. The only thing would be for clients to be able to download photos and video onto their phone without the need of an app.

It provides the cleanest way I have found to share files with clients, and to also allow them to send me feedback on the work we've created for them, truly cleaning and speeding up our workflow.

It would be great if they would give more space in free version. But free version is great to get the feel for the product

I've had Dropbox for years and have never considered leaving for another cloud storage provider. I love how seamless the interface is, having it mimic computer folders is wonderful because it helps me with organization, filing, sharing and routine. The plans are priced well and I am very happy as a 10year+ customer. I use Dropbox daily.

The only thing I once disliked was the requirement to give access to an entire folder vs folders within folders with people but I think that has been cleared now and is no longer a worry.

I love how easy it is to save files to Dropbox from my Mac. You can download a separate Dropbox file location and it installs under Favorites. Dropbox walks you through it. Then it's just a click and I have peace of mind knowing my files are backed up on Dropbox. I use it multiple times a day. I also love how easy it is to share documents via Dropbox.

I sometimes find it difficult to find older files on Dropbox. I wish there were better ways to organize files.

I'm a writer and an editor. I have to make sure files don't go missing. Dropbox is an easy recovery method. I save all my important documents to Dropbox for peace of mind. I also share files with authors and editors via Dropbox.

Spacing can often be an issue. I'd like to at least be able to use the platform and not run out of space so soon.
