I like the ease of use for the Dropbox desktop app. It's like saving files to my computer. It's also easy to access shared documents without having to login to a website.
I've used other cloud storage solutions, and comparatively there's nothing I dislike about Dropbox. That's why I've gone up to premium plans year after year.
Dropbox makes it easy for me to know that all of my documents are backed up, while it also being an organized and easy to use day-to-day file storage system.
I have been using Dropbox for over ten years now. I have tried other storage solutions, but have found Dropbox to be the best. I can find all my files in one place including everything from family photos to business documents. My files can be easily organized and searched for in no time. I have also found Dropbox to be the easiest to use when it comes to uploading and downloading files whether I'm on my phone or PC. I have found Dropbox to be compatible with other services I use. Dropbox also has reasonably priced plans.
I have not found any downfalls with using Dropbox.
Dropbox is keeping my files secure in one place where I can easily find what I'm looking for at a moments notice.
I can scan a receipt or any other piece of paperwork anywhere and have it on my compter when I arrive at the house. You can elect to just keep your paperwork in the DropBox cloud or have it on each device you use it on. I use it on a daily basis. It was also very easy to set up on all my devices. The program is integrated across all of my platforms.
Sometimes when you don't have a cell phone connection or Internet connection it can be frustrating.
The ability to scan documents while away from the computer at the home office.
I like that sending and receiving large files, including photo files, are a snap with Dropbox. No muss. No fuss.
That is doesn't provide more free storage space.
The problem Dropbox best solves is storing large files that would otherwise not be able to be stored. It's benefitting me because I can log into Dropbox from anywhere and have access to my files.
I love that Dropbox can be part of my finder folder on my Mac. No need to have the website open to add files and the organization is simple because it follows the rest of my filing system.
It can sometimes be blocked by organizations, so sharing large files has to be done another way. Not really a knock on Dropbox, but it would be helpful if large organizations trusted it for file sharing.
Backing up files to the cloud, sharing with clients, having a single source for materials throughout a group of consultants.
Data saving anytome I can have it, and use it wherever I am, I dont need to pick-up up any bag for documents, I share everything with anyone I want
The space, I always domt have free space
Always I cant access to my file, anytime
I like the ease of use of Dropbox Sign. I use it almost daily and it's made my organization easier.
I have not found something I don't like.
Dropbox sign helps me organize my contracts and it is easy for my clients to use
Ease of use. The easy app for my phone. Being able to edit documents from within dropbox.
I wish my pictures could be as easily found as they were when they were on my iPhone
Sharing files and storing files
I like the ease of use and availability of my documents
I don't have complaints about Dropbox. I like it's ease of use.
I"m not sure, as I have no problems with it now.
Easy-to-use interface and easy access, thank you
By using Small screen, the display is not very visible
Easy group and team working
Its seamless Integration across devices. Being able to open. Word and excel file online and edit docs
Sometime with security sometimes it's difficult to login across devices. Which is also a good thing security wise but jsut makes it inconvenient.
We drop all of our large datavses in dropbox to share it among contractors. We are able to track who opened the file. We always have the full control
Dropbox easily integrates into my business infrastructure. It is useful and versatile. I do not have to do a lot to get it to work. No major learning curve. It's great...
I use Dropbox on several different computers. I use it for Mac as well as Linux systems. I would like to have the same feature of having files stored off-site only as I can on Mac as well as Linux. I want this so I can save disk space on my Linux computer.
Off-site storage of important files. These files are being used constantly.
Back up data very quickly on many platforms and devices
Recent updates on the iPhone App no longer cover the live photo image format to mov video
I can view photos taken on Iphone to other devices such as PC, Android and IPad
The ability to share files with others within a click of a button
I haven't ran across anything yet that I would say I dislike about Dropbox
Dropbox allows me to send clients files super easy. I just have to upload the files, and share the folder with them
I am very happy usingDropbox. I can have access of all my important things anywhere, anytime.
I can't say anything bad until now, it's good enough.
It helps me to cloud my contents
How i can access it from anywhere. My computer, phone and tablet all have the same information and it updates it instantly
I dont have somewhere to edit my documents. I have to download the documents or edit them through google online
Limited storage, although my student loans are up the roof, dropbox has affordable plans for every need. Also you can access it through the institution and get more storage.
Being able to see edits made, when they were made, by who, and just being very transparent about edits to important documents
Really nothing, I like the formatting, UI, everything really
Being able to work with multiple people to see whose editing what. It is better than google docs in that regard by far
Everything is available when i need it and its easy For ise
To expencive For family what i User and Had to leave IT
I am using IT privately only
The ease of use and accessibility from any and all devices.
Nothing. I'm not sure I could make a recommendation on how to improve it.
The fact that I can access all of my documents from anywhere and any device is key. And I love the little badge on the document icon that shows me that it's been sync'd.
Ease and friendliness of use and security
Expensive monthly charges it started with 9.99USD and now it became 13.99 USD
Ease of reach and accessibility to all necessary documents and contents from anywhere anytime and sharing them easily with whoever I want
Easy to use cloud sharing. I love the security, the speed of transferring files from device to device. The ease of data management. The fact that it is fully usable for my needs even using the basic mode. Easy to download and use on multiple devices which means it integrates seamlessly into my daily work flow. I use Dropbox multiple times per to week to share files across devices and social media platforms. Very easy to set up.
The only downside is for me is the limited space and instillation on devices on the basic plan, though I know that I can upgrade at any time to solve this.
Moving files between different devices. means that i don't have to load things onto USBs and can easily move files from my computer to phone for social media upload.
As a solo freelancer, I don't use Dropbox's sharing features for actual work, but I do use it to get materials from clients and to send final files to clients, and it works flawlessly and invisibly. I also use it as an extra layer of backup for works-in-progress, and it works just as invisibly for that. It's a sturdy part of my regular workflow.
There is a large gap between the free plan and the lowest end paid plan, and in that gap would be my sweet spot.
The biggest one is how to get large files from and to clients
I've been using Dropbox for nearly 10 years now and I love how easy it is to manage my files locally & on my mobile devices.
Wish the app messages would save their read/unread because I keep declining the "Would you like to try the beta version" message and it comes back every time I login to my computer.
Team collaboration features have been getting better and better. I like the directions they're going in the app.
Dropbox provides great and user friendly ways to distribute documents across a global market.
Some places where DropBox could improve would be in the link sharing settings. As of the setting are a bit limited compared to their competitors.
Working with a publishing company that works with people all around the world DropBox provides a secure and quick way to share data.
Dropbox is easy and just works. It's like having an extra hard drive attached to the device..
More storage would be great. You can never have too much
I can share large files across multiple devices with ease
Safety of knowing your documents are backed up. Easy access to them at any time
Large files take some time to upload. Speed of syncyin.
online only is being added
I love how simple and intuitive DropBox is! I've been a member/subscriber for years and find DropBox is the best in the industry for storing digital media. Its also super easy to share such files and create organized folders to better manage content.
There really aren't too many things to dislike about Dropbox in my personal opinion. It really has saved me many times. The one thing I wish it had (and maybe it does have this feature but I dont know about it) but would love to be able to add keywords and tags to photos to easily search for content (without the keywords necessarily being in the file name itself). This would save me a lot of time searching but otherwise I love DropBox!
The problem is finding a place to store impotant media and files to be utilzied in the future and DropBox solves this problem by allowing me to easily organize files and media within folders and also search for such folders as needed. This has benefited me by saving me lots of time, helped me to find important files in a quick time frame, and also share slideshows, videos, and other content with clients, colleagues, managment etc.
I like it because I can store documents online and its easy to use.
It easily gets full for work documents. Ease of integration.
storage
It is very easy to set up and use. I prefer all my clients to send thier documents via dropbox.
Borrowers at first seem reluctant to try it and would rather just send files in emails which is unsafe. Once I tell them you only have to drag it in and they try it, they like it better.
Receiving documents securely.
Dropbox has been great for exchange large volumes of documents with other attorney's and clients.
The only downfall is the amount of space for the free version, however it is still a great feature to use!
Sending voluminous or large files.
