Elementor makes it super easy to create amazing looking web pages with dynamic features.Building the structure of your page is super easy and adding in the elements is just as easy. Everything is very user-friendly and produces professional results even if you're not a professional web designer. It's a great tool for teams as well.
Elementor can be a bit temperamental. Sometimes, for seemingly no apparent reason you won't be able to upload a certain image into media. Another issue is that uploading self-hosted videos that aren't horizontal/rectangular requires workarounds or css changes. It can get a bit frustrating as you try to figure out what's causing certain issues to appear on your page.
Creating dynamic landing pages that look professional and that are attractive has been much easier, especially because you can build a template and use it to create a number of pages. Breaking the format type posts have been easier to create than through basic WordPress. Uniformity and creativity are both possible with this easy to use tool.
After a few weeks of using Elementor on my WordPress website, I found it very easy to create different types of landing pages. The drag and drop feature made even a beginner feel at ease with navigating the added features and designing their own website. • I loved the fact that it integrates well with my Woo commerce shop and that I can create my very own customised 404 pages. • It has a lot of great tutorials to help you along your way of design. • A yearly cost effective fee plugin you can design a multitude of various web pages. • The pro plan provides ridiculous amount of templates, widgets and integrations. • I have tried other landing pages plugins in the past and what I liked with Elementor more is that it's also responsive which is very important with so many of us accessing everything via our mobiles.
What I disliked about Elementor are the bugs I experienced when trying to view widgets that I added on to the pages. The preview screen at times defaulted back to previous work and made me frustrated. The other annoying thing I experienced were the constant issues with being able to view and edit the global settings which at one point I had given up on. All better now but it can come up now and again.
I use Elementor to create landing pages, sales pages, blog posts and opt-in pages for my business and clients. Saves a lot of time and frustration.
For a simple static or dynamic website you dont have to be expert on coding. Elementor has different styles of blocks that can be used for building the website. I used it frequently in 2022 for building my own website. The integration of elementor with different themes is admirable, you can easily edit any theme and customize it using Elementor.
If you want to customize a lot you have to be expert in coding. And the Pro product it not free. The free version has many limitations.
I needed my own website and elementor made my work easy without learning a lot of coding. The designs are customizable, responsive, has third party integrations, a big template library was enough for me to build my own website at that time.
It's a very fast web builder both for the web designer and the end user. It's built for the future, lots of modern elements and design layout. Live preview and on site website design makes it easy for collaboration.
No auto save to draft. You can loose your current edits on any reload if not saved manually. Not compactible with every wordpress theme.
Designing websites pages and landing pages. Creating high quality blog posts. Collaborative website design and live preview of website on the go.
The design elements provided are quite easy to use. Even someone with very basic website building knowledge can built a really nice design without knowing any code.
Cross-platform limitations are there if you want to use design elements outside of elementor. Although, works really well generally.
Website building Web-design Blog page building
The visual aspect is really good and the drop and drag tools.
Hard to make sites responsive friendly without extra work.
I prefer not to use it.
Can build basic sites without coding, but not much more.
Elementor lacks some very basic features that i´ve grown accustomed to with other wordpress builders; such as column and section layout options. I feel very limited on how i can layout my webpage without writing custom CSS to achieve my desired result.
Elementor provides a user friendly way to build website. For non-coders, this is great. However, its lacking some very basic features i´ve become used to from other website builders that make coding feel very necessary.
Initially, the tool allowed me to build my first WordPress sites, but over time, they added more features, which created more bloat and moved further away from offering quality services. There are a lot of resources for it available on the web.
The customer service has declined over the years. The bloat is real on your site, too. It is drastically slower than other builders available. That's because it's not a true front-end builder; it's a back-end tool pretending to be a front-end builder. I would steer clear of this tool if you're new to WordPress or builders.
I used Elementor to build my first WordPress sites, and it gave me my start in website building, which I used for several years as a non-developer.
The free builder was quick and easy which prompted me to go pro.
Awful customer service and technical support. Wasted months trying to get elementor pro to work on my Wordpress website, it just would not offer the pro features despite paying for them. Gave up and got a shopify store, Elementor didn't fix the problem, didn't give me access to the features I paid for, didn't offer to extend my subscription or give me a refund for the months of time wasted trying to fix it. So frustrated - avoid!
I need a website builder plugin for Wordpress.
Elementor is pretty good, but other competitors are easily able to complete the same services with superior features. Elementor has become less cost-effective and feature-rich in modern web design
TERRIBLE customer service and business practice. They automatically set the subscription to auto-renew. I have 5 licenses with them so forgive me for forgetting to cancel one auto renewal. But when I reached out to them literally 2 minutes after an auto-renewal, they refuse to cancel! I paid $100 for the last two years without even using the service. Poor business practice. Will be moving my WP business elsewhere
None at the moment. It was a great UI builder that helped clients update their websites, but there are more productive tools like GHL, CF, and even Shopify that exist now. It's best that users skip this headache and move to a superior website builder that doesn't have poor business practices.
Elementor's promise is phenomenal. It is the the nocode before the nocode boom.
The support is as slow and ineffective as the sites you build with Elementor.
Elementor promise of Elementor is to help build dynamic websites using WordPress with no code. However, the plugin so bulky, buggy and support for the product much, MUCH to be desired.
An easy-to-use, more extensive community
Worst support I've ever seen, And Speed issues Never expect to solve your problem with them. They reply late after a few days, and I hope after that the problem will be solved, They will tell you that they cannot provide the code to solve the issues of their plugin, And you have to hire someone to solve your problem and tell them how to solve the problem because they don't know that I've never seen anything like that in my life I'm really very frustrated in every ticket and I only have 2-3 a year and none of them are resolved, In addition to the speed issues related to their plugin
building sites
It can look pretty, I guess . . . ? I'm not sure how to answer.
unresponsive nature of adding in cells. The bunched way images and text look atop each other. This is unless you use dividers and spacers everywhere, making it another nightmare. Then, should you want to stop using it... Well... Don't do that.. That'll break the theme... Awesome.
Pretty much none. It is a complete time suck.
Intuitive layout. Continous updates. Easy to do. Integrations with other plugins.
Nothing. I really like Elementor. It's easy to work with.
You don't need a lot of coding experience to build a professional website. Integration with other platforms is easy. It solves and helps me to attract leads.
A few years ago I didn't like Elementor or any other visual page builder for that matter. But now for almost every WordPress project I use elementor. And after they introduced the flexbox the designing possibilities just got endless. Earilier my biggest issue with elementor was with multiple nesing. But that has been fixed with flexbox containers. I can create complex designs, and I can add code snippits, html blocks. And there are log of 3rd party add-ons that you can get which adds, new elements and advanced features like copying the settings and styles from one element and pasting it to another.
Now another problems I have with page builders are doing repeated tasks, option for having a global settings for a bunch of similar elements. Currently I don't think there are any such option in core elementor. Though there are 3rd party plugins that helps in copying style of an element and pasting it on another.
Elementor is one of the most awesome tool I have used, it helps in creating and managing web pages really easy. And after they have added the support for the flex container, the functionality has gone to a whole new level. I can almost build any web page design that I can build using a html/css, and creating different layout has become much more flexible with the flexbox support. Also it let's me add class, and id so I can add easly change the element design with a external stylesheet.
The size of the community and options available as far as extensibility make it extremely versatile.
It could be a bit buggy when there's an update, but the stability is progressively getting better.
Our entire website ops department runs on Elementor - custom websites for clients and landing pages.
With Elementor I was able to create everything including landing pages, eCommerce websites, and full-fledged blog sites. I had a great time using Elementor, and I am confident that it will be a valuable tool for any business looking to start or expand its online presence, especially if you want to take your company to the next level. Here is what I liked about Elementor: 1. Elementor is an all-in-one website-building platform. Elementor comes with some amazing templates and pre-built pages that allow you to get started right away 2. Elementor is an incredibly user-friendly platform that anyone can use. 3. Elementor has a great community of support for its users. 4. With its drag-and-drop editor, you can create and publish anything without having any coding experience. 5. Can be easily integrated with a lot of different online marketing tools such as Zapier, Mailchimp, Hubspot etc.
The marketing automation function is not present in Elementor. Every time we create a landing page or a website with a form to collect lead information, we must manually set up an automation workflow by integrating marketing automation software if we need to send automated emails to nurture the leads. This can be cumbersome and time-consuming. The features are also limited in the free plan, and the paid plans are quite expensive.
One of the most significant advantages of Elementor is that it allows you to be creative with your website design while removing the need to worry about technical aspects. I've used Elementor on a number of websites and found it to be extremely useful in terms of making the design process much easier. I was able to redesign an entire website using Elementor, including all of the necessary functionality and features that had previously been built using handwritten code. This gave me the confidence to believe that anyone can use Elementor to create websites that are better than handwritten code. To learn everything about Elementor, they also have a lot of learning resources. You can find a good amount of tutorials and videos to assist you with any issues you might run into.
Elementor is a web design tool that allows creating a website by dragging and dropping elements such as buttons, forms, or images into a layout. The best thing about Elementor is that no coding is required just need to know how to use the tools to build a website.
Some of the functions of elementor are unpaid, so as a beginner, you can start using it for free, but in the future, you'll need to pay to use it pro.
