What I like most about the tools is the flexibility and usability. You can create a set of different scorecards, interview kits and candidate workflows depending on business needs. The tool is very user-friendly, and measurement is easy, for each step of the candidate's journey.
There's so much flexibility it's not always clear how changes will impact reporting year over year. It's helpful to work with your business representative to understand how and why candidate stage changes could negatively impact your KPIs.

Greenhouse helps recruiting teams stay on track and manage the candidate experience seamlessly from end to end. It also helps us ensure that our candidates are having a top notch experience - from organized communication templates to keeping track of every part of the process from initial inquiry to hiring to post-recruitment surveys. Greenhouse covers everything.
I can't think of any specific downsides - it has a tremendous amount of features and some may not be appropriate or applicable, but it's nice to know they're there, and they're likely of use to other companies.
Managing many applicants and keeping candidates, hiring teams and stakeholders informed and things moving smoothly. What was once an unwieldy manual process of spreadsheets and email communication is all beautifully and simply housed in this one platform.
Greenhouse is the most customizable ATS I've ever used - and I've used a lot. You can create custom reports; you can utilize the pipeline view to get a comprehensive look at your candidates and recs. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for strong ATS to support your hiring efforts.
If there were one thing I could pinpoint that I would like to see improved in Greenhouse, it would be an easier way to view comments and activity on a candidate profile. Greenhouse has a timeline feature, but you must navigate away from the main candidate page to view it.

Greenhouse is incredible from an operational efficiency standpoint and the perfect balance between tooling for HR, candidates and leaders.
Honestly, nothing - the platform has been great for multiple teams I've worked with over the years. For questions I have or need extra help, their support team is amazing and always there 1,2,3 to step in and support.
Greenhouse solves our recruiting needs, candidate experience and relationship/ project management with hiring managers. It helps us be more productive and do our jobs with A+ results.
Greenhouse is set up with the end user in mind. The intuitive nature of the overall configuration and the easy to customize options are among my favorite things about using Greenhouse
The only thing that is a little wonky, is being unable to un-merge candidate profiles.
Greenhouse has helped us to solve problems around recording interview data and being able to link that to a storyline of the candidate as it relates to their interaction with our company.
I love how intuitive Greenhouse is. They really limit extra "clicks," - which is so essential when you're doing 800 things at all times, every day. They're constantly improving the system and are super receptive to customer feedback as well. Overall it's easily the best ATS system I've worked with in my career.
There aren't a ton of downsides to using Greenhouse. Some of their reporting could use a bit of work, and I do wish there was a section available for debrief notes, but otherwise it's overall a great system.
We can move so much quicker with hiring because of Greenhouse. We also can track our data & provide insights/analyses to the business on the quality of hires, speed of hires, etc.
Greenhouse is the best ATS I have used in my 8 years of recruiting. Very organized, easy to quickly screen resumes, and user friendly for new hiring managers.
The CRM and ability to build lists and nurture passive candidates could be improved.

When I came on board our company was using Greenhouse. This was my first experience with it, and I was able to teach myself how to use it bascially. This ATS is the most user-friendly program on the market.
I have worked with numerous ATS programs and wish Greenhouse offered more options, such as applicant feedback. Also, I would like to see it fill in the gap from recruiter to hiring manager.
Greenhouse has helped me successfully recruit quality candidates for multiple positions, even in a very tough market. ATS is easy to use, and the cost is very reasonable.
