"Why I left Convertkit after just 45 days (and ate $750)"
What do you like best about Kit?

Maybe the simplicity of the platform could be seen as an asset?

What do you dislike about Kit?

After working with CK for a few weeks, I began to notice bugs and missing features I decided in the end I just couldn't live without, so now I've *re-migrated* back to my old platform (MailerLite, if you're curious... LOVE THEM) Here's why I left Convertkit: 1. **there's no way to organize uploaded images:** this wasn't a noticeable problem in the beginning, but the emails I sent and the more images I uploaded, it began to take longer and longer to find what I needed 2. **there's no way to embed audio:** as a podcaster, this was vital 3. **the whole automation vs. email sequence thing** was cumbersome to work with But here was the NUMBER ONE THING, the deal-breaker: 1. **there's no way to see metrics for groups or segments of subscribers:** Many of us use Facebook ads or Google ads (or just have various streams of how people find us) and it's essential that we be able to track their engagement data. I was paying $$$ GOOD MONEY $$$ to get leads on Facebook and with ConvertKit I suddenly had *NO IDEA* how this segment of subscribers was performing. I couldn't tell if they were opening my emails, let alone clicking. So I decided to change platforms for the second time in two months. It was a hell of a lot of work. I reached out to CK with my concerns and they stood really strong on their strict "30 days only" refund policy. It didn't matter that I was just 15 days past that, it didn't matter that we'd just had two major national holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving) during that time, none of it mattered, so I had to eat the hundreds of dollars I'd spent on the annual plan. But for me and my business, I need an email platform that is easy to keep organized and give me metrics that tell me is my ads are working. Convertkit failed.

"Extremely poor customer service."
What do you like best about Kit?

The Wordpress plugin makes it easy to integrate the sign up forms on my posts, pages, blog sidebar. Unfortunately, being unable to import my mailchimp list to convertkit, it is useless.

What do you dislike about Kit?

Their support is not helpful at all. After assuring me that moving from mailchimp to convertikit was "easy" and that "We'll get it working for you! :)" they refused to help when I ran into problems. They moved 171 subscribers but refused to move the whole list of 918 subscribers. Instead, they referred me to their so-called experts who want $500+ to develop a marketing strategy(which I don't even want) after wasting a week of my time.

So far, they are not solving any problems for me. Just a waste of my time. Their support is not helpful at all. "TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!"
What do you like best about Kit?

The lady that contacted me to do the demo spent a generous amount of time answering my questions.

What do you dislike about Kit?

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! You have to prove to them when you have a bigger list that you have at least 20% Open rate which is impossible and unrealistic when your email marketing ends up on the gmail promotions folder.

What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is the most ridiculous email marketing company ever! The lady at the customer service chat named Courtney was unprofessional and even deleted my account even though I showed her many screenshots of my sales on mailchimp. RUDE! Will take my business elsewhere!
