Klaviyo has made communicating with customers more manageable than ever.
The transfer from another CRM was not the easiest as the tags I previously had, weren't transferred.
The ease of sales funnels and categorizing each customer has been a welcoming feature.
Their software is very easy to use and understand. We have been able to streamline our operations using their FLOWS and other integrations.
Not too much to dislike. I wish their SMS pricing was a little more attractive.
We are using abandon checkout and browse abandonment to bring customers back to close more deals.
Klaviyo has a ton of features, automations, cool things that you can do with it... But also, if you're only starting out, it's possible to build a few flows and send campaigns without being a programming genius or spending a ton of time on it. And it helps that the pricing model is sensible. It'll grow with you!
Not a lot I don't like to be honest. Sometimes, I find that the feature or setting I'm looking for takes a couple of extra clicks to get to - but no biggy. Mostly I wish I had more time to get even more value out of it!
Great flow set-up (new signup sequence, cart abandonment, purchase anniversary, sunset sequence...) and intuitive, beautiful email designer for flows and campaigns. I can reach all my subscribers quickly and easily to share interesting content, deals etc, and Klaviyo keeps all the customer info in one place and gives me great statistics on open rate, click rate, attributable sales etc

Previously, the email template builder was basic, but they are improving it and adding more ready-made templates. Rest is fine according to our use case.

We love klaviyo! The functionality of it is great! It's extremely user-friendly and our account rep is extremely knowledgeable. We feel like we have all the tools we need to have a successful email program with klaviyo.
The only thing we dislike is that there is so much to do and we don't always know where to go next even with having a great account rep. We also wish the integration with salesforce was a little better.
We have solved a lot of problems we had with email. We were using double the manpower with our old email provider. We are able to customize much easier with klaviyo so our customers get a better experience!
I love that klaviyo makes it extremely easy for you to build email flows. There are tons of triggers to choose from and the layout is very esthetically pleasing.
I do not have any complaints about klaviyo at this moment. One feature they could add is website integration for forms and such.
With klaviyo, i was able to create new email flows to reach potential customers in an organized fashion. The simplicity of the program has increased my productivity.
Klayvio is extremely user-friendly and very easy to onboard. I had no issues jumping in from day one and getting campaigns and flows built out with no prior klayvio experience.
My only complaint is that there is not an easy way to submit things for approval within the software. I would love to also see a visual calendar so I know what campaigns are launching when.
We had a deficit in email marketing before Klayvio, everything else was messy to use and hard to manage lists, etc! We are able to integrate with tons of our other software so uploading lists is a thing of the past!
The best feature about Klaviyo is Email Automation which nurtures every prospect with promotional content so that the lead can be converted to a customer. List Segmentation. We can segment our list by behaviour, purchase history as well as demographics. The deliverability of promotional Emails is very good, they always reach the inbox. SMS Messaging. We can schedule text messages that can be delivered at a time that results in maximum conversions. Reporting. It provides excellent reports sorted by campaigns and marketing period. It provides all parametrics like CTR, Open Rate, Conversion as well as Revenue. Creative Management. The system allows us to store graphics from a previous campaign and the reuse them in another campaign. Campaign Builder. The built-in Email Desginer is amazing for desgining Email Content and Newsletters. Testing. The built-in A/B Testing functions allows user to test their campaign using different parametrics and creatives which helps a lot in optimization.
The graphics manager can be improved. It doesn't allows the user to crop or resize images. The campaign designer needs to have more templates which can be edited as per requirement. Automation. The platform definitely lacks automation which is why we need to use another Marketing Automation Tool.
Our company is using Klaviyo for lead generation, sending Email Promotions, SMS Messaging and list management. The entire marketing department is using it and no one is having any major issues with it. It has solved many business problems. First of all, it is helping in driving repeat purchases by promoting new content to existing customers. It is also helping in acquiring new customers through a lead gen form. It is also helping our support team by sending automated SMS messsages and Emails upon receiving a new request.
With Klaviyo, it is so easy to keep in touch with your customer and keep them up to date about new offers and prices. Klaviyo simplifies marketing work. We can send a personalized emails by filtering according to our customer's need. I like how this software is easy to use and well organized.
Well I didn't find anything negative side of this software. However, desptie friendly user interface if they offer some tutorial videos it would be great because when I started using this software I found a little difficulty in setting up things.
WIth Klaviyo retaining your old customers is easy. You can specifically give extra attention to them, which builds good relations between you and your customers. We can always keep in touch with them and remind them if they left something in the cart to purchase later. With Klaviyo, we observed significant improvement in Sales, and our relationship with the customer has become better than ever, which is a good sign for our business.
Klaviyo is as easy to use as any other email marketing platform, but they guide you along the way and have a great integration with many of the top e-commerce platforms out there like Shopify, BigCommerce and more.
They have so much to offer that at times I can feel overwhelmed using the software, but once I get back on track it's smooth sailing from there. Plus, I'd much rather have too many options than miss out on what I need.
We're communicating with our customers in an effective and easy way - one that is customized thanks to Klaviyo's software. Our customers aren't bombarded with email and when they do get one, it's custom to their tastes.
I love the very simple flow editor and email builders. You don't need to know any code or even have much of a marketing background to be able to go beyond the templates and build your own marketing funnels.
The email builder can be a little clunky at time. As far as WYSIWYG email editors go, it's pretty good, and klaviyo is more about the flows and segments anyway, but it could be a little better. Columns are unwieldy to use but at least they're there, and saved elements could be implemented much better with a gallery with sorting and filtering tools.
Klaviyo allows our SMB to reach out to our customers via email on an automated basis, and has greatly increased our customer touchpoints without requiring much work from me. The ROI in terms of software fees and my time is high.
I think this platform is fairly easy to use, I learned it quickly and I am able to create quick email campaigns with ease. I feel like it is more robust and vibrant than other platforms like Mailchimp.
I wish there were some failsafe checks, like making sure images and buttons are linked because sometimes when I am in a rush I miss those things but it would be great if they helped out a little more with that. Also sometimes there are glitches with the mobile version. A few times there have been double menus or images in the mobile view but not the email view so I have to make sure to double check it before sending out.
Klaviyo integrates beautifully with Shopify and it makes it easy when I want to update email confirmations and funnel emails. I think it's really nice that I can copy and paste previous emails and quickly build a new campaign easily. The benefits of the layout make everything really simple, I can copy an old campaign, update the images and text, send the preview, check it and schedule it.
Complete control of campaigns and automated emails is the best feature of Klaviyo for me. If you have a website of at least 500 audience/mailing list, it makes sense to use klaviyo. It is perfect for your email marketing projects. It is easy to use and gives you many functions to help you get the most out of it.
We're just beginning our email marketing journey, so I can't complain about anything for now. We encounter issues and shortcomings sometimes, but not because of Klaviyo.

Klaviyo is very easy to use, even those with no editing or design experience on our team can log in and mock-up their e-mails. The editing tools make it easy to save and reuse past designs to make all e-mails cohesive.
We've been trying to use transactional e-mails with Klavio and it's been a difficult process. The tool is still new so that would be why, but it's been a struggle we haven't been able to solve in months.
Our e-mail marketing is 100% automated and it actually brings us more sales! We don't even have to think about any e-mails, Klaviyo does it all.

Their email design customizer lacks continuity and is somewhat restrictive. I most often design emails in Adobe illustrator and then export as jpegs to implement in the emails rather than using Klaviyo's email customizer.

The first point I want to make is that it would be highly technical, which means we will encounter difficulties during the beginning phases. Additionally, it makes no mention of data security or lead tagging.

Klaviyo received funding about a year ago, and it's clear that they're putting that money towards improvements for their clients. They highly value user feedback and really take what their customers say into consideration. Additionally, their live chat function is great for immediate response/assistance on issues. We also have a dedicated Customer Success Manager who checks in with us monthly. This allows us to bubble up any concerns we have, request new features we'd like to see, discuss ideas/challenges, etc.
Some design things can be a little finicky - for example, when building an email. But if you have html coding experience that shouldn't be a problem. But you definitely don't need coding experience to use! Their drag and drop builder is great, too.
Sending emails to our broad newsletter, as well as targeted lists/segments. Sending automatic emails based off of a behavior/action the client takes. They've recently launched SMS so we will be starting to play in that world soon, too! Klaviyo also has the ability to design pop-ups, slide-outs, etc. for promoting certain products, capturing email addresses, getting certain info from your clients, etc. Klaviyo integrates with a lot of other platforms, allowing us to maximize our capabilities.
Really easy to integrate our CRM platform into Klaviyo for up-to-date email lists that makes it straightforward for us to target our right audience. We are also excited to explore some of the SMS options in the near future. The platform solves multiple dilemmas for our organization.
The onboarding process could have been a little more straightforward, initially had some trouble getting someone on the phone to discuss the product. haven't really used any customer service tools yet, so it will be interesting to see how that goes.
We launched a new paywall service and we are using a dedicated email for trial subscribers to provide them with info they can't get elsewhere in order to convince them to stay past the trial. We have a lot of data in general, but email has always been a sore spot for us. So far Klaviyo is solving the problems we have thrown at it.
It is easy to setup, 100% delivery rate of all the emails be it transactional or newsletter or abondone cart follow-ups. It comes with lot of user-friendly pre-built templates and has a drag and drop interface for newsletter creation with lots of dynamic fields. Automations and reports are super awesome as well
other than its very expensive price plans, I couldn't think of anything else.
