Webinars are a pretty big deal these days.
Although webinar learning opportunities have been gaining attention for a few years now, the demand for these offering has skyrocketed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Companies, educators, and thought leaders are beginning to turn to webinar content as a way of forming deeper connections with their audience. However, there’s still plenty of room for companies looking to get ahead of the curve. After all, while 83% of marketers find webinars effective, only around 41% say they planned on using them in 2021.
LiveWebinar is a popular, easy-to-use webinar creation software, built to help people create engaging webinars for their target market. Today, we’re taking a closer look at LiveWebinar, and just how effective it is at allowing companies to take advantage of the online learning market.
LiveWebinar advertises itself as the most advanced webinar software available, allowing companies to collaborate anywhere, and build engaging experiences with speed. Rather than just offering webinar functionality (like most webinar software), LiveWebinar sets itself apart as a cloud-based solution for webinars and meetings in one.
Existing customers include Infoshare, Marketer+, Kaplan, and many other reputable organizations. LiveWebinar boasts around 153968 users and has hosted more than 1277876 meeting rooms to date.
If you’re trying to digitally transform your communication strategy, LiveWebinar offers a relatively affordable way to access meetings and webinar experiences. There’s a free service for people on a tight budget if you’re happy to stick with only 5 attendees.
LiveWebinar is a cloud-based solution for streaming meetings, sharing screens, and hosting or recording webinars. The platform has become pretty comprehensive over the years. Here are some of the features you should know about:
LiveWebinar is suitable for both meetings and webinars.
Let’s start by looking at webinars. The LiveWebinar platform is easy to access, with the option to access the room from any browser, without the need for a download. You’ll also have the option to customize your webinar experience, adding and removing features at your will, and you can embed the webinar directly within your website.
Webinars are delivered in crystal-clear HD quality, with state-of-the-art connections, to ensure you have a professional impact on your audience. When designing your webinar, you can:
LiveWebinar will allow you to share both your camera feed and your screen in real-time with your audience. You can also store and share files safely through the LiveWebinar personal cloud. If you want to stream your content online while you’re mid-webinar, you can connect to Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, and Periscope to do so.
Evergreen webinars are an alternative to the standard “live webinars” experience. With this strategy, users can pre-record webinar content in HD, then make the content feel more live and engaging with a range of additional tools. The Evergreen Webinar service includes:
When you record webinars with LiveWebinar you can store the information in the cloud, then access the in-built editing tool to adjust your content. You’ll be able to edit the frame rate of your recordings, choose you preferred cloud storage provider, adjust resolution and even change the recording layout however you choose.
Whether you’re producing an Evergreen webinar you want to share again later, or you’re designing a webinar to share in real-time, you need the right branding opportunities. The branding templates in LiveWebinar make it easy to ensure you’re delivering a familiar experience with every event.
You can click on the “schedule webinar” section in the free version of the tool and get a handful of options like:
Unfortunately, if you want to add your own brand colors and logo, you will need to upgrade to a paid account. When you do this, you’ll be able to make various changes to the color and appearance of your rooms on a greater scale. You can also save multiple branding templates and add them to your future webinars, so you don’t have to build everything from scratch each time.
For Evergreen webinars, there’s also the option to edit the content you save to the cloud with the LiveWebinar Recordings Editor. This means you can put your logo or a branded page at the beginning of a recording, add a branded song, and even customize your own outro.
Editing also allows you to:
LiveWebinar gives users a variety of ways to engage with your audience.
Once you’ve chosen your Webinar room template, you can find various tools for getting your audience involved with the experience, from polls and surveys to Q&A sessions. Options for audience engagement include:
Tests and surveys: Tests and surveys allow users to collect information from their audience and analyze useful feedback. You can choose what kind of surveys you want to run, whether you want your customers to leave written answers or choose from a scale of numbers, and more.
Once you’ve finished the survey, LiveWebinar creates a handy chart to show your results.
Presentations and screensharing
Presentations in LiveWebinar allow you to create slideshows of visual information to help you make a more impactful presentation. You simply upload the information for your presentation into the LiveWebinar environment before your event, and you can access it whenever you’re ready.
Presentations come with a bunch of handy features, like the option to “sync slides” to ensure everyone is watching the same slide as you at all times. You can also turn on a pointer to help customers or viewers see what you’re trying to emphasize.
While you’re presenting, you can also make notes, draw on the screen, and pull attention to important information using the whiteboard feature.
You can share your screen from any device with LiveWebinar too, making it much easier to add context to a conversation. You can show people what you’re working on by sharing the entire screen, or just a single application.
Interactive whiteboard
The interactive whiteboard can also be a standalone part of your webinar presentation. It comes with a range of drawing tools, whiteboard page templates and grids to help you with sharing information. You can change your cursor style to make it look like a laser pointer and give different people in the presentation nicknames so your viewers can see who is drawing what.
One particularly fun thing about the whiteboard is the ability to download the content you create. This means you can share written notes with your audience after the webinar.
Chat
The live chat function, available for both meetings and webinars, allows you to connect with your audience on another level. You can share emoticons and links, drag and drop files, and even access in-line translation for some languages.
There’s also the option to create a “moderated chat” where you can delete and remove messages, or attendees who might not be acting appropriately.
The chat configuration feature within LiveWebinar allows for a few customization options, like adjusting font size, and changing the background color of the chat app.
You’ll also be able to add voice recording options to chat in some cases, which means that people can share snippets of voice in the chat room.
Collecting potential attendees for your webinar is simple enough with LiveWebinar. The solution comes with it’s own lead forms and registration forms.
As a free user, you can only create up to 3 registration forms. The Registration form makes it easy to predict how many people you’re likely to have attending your next event. These forms also prevent people from simply sharing the link to your webinar with uninvited guests when the event is running.
You’ll be able to name your registration forms and create custom fields (depending on your pricing plan). You can also integrate these forms with tools like MailChimp, Freshmail, and Active Campaign. Email marketing integration means you can nurture excitement for an upcoming event, and potentially convince previous attendees to come back to future webinars.
Advanced “leads” forms, allow you to capture information from your attendees when they log into your webinar too, so you can collect more information for segmenting your audience.
Aside from giving you registration and lead forms to connect with your participants, LiveWebinar also offers things like:
If you want to invite participants to a webinar directly, you’ll have the same solutions as you get when inviting someone to a meeting. Options include email invitations, text message invitations, call-in invitations, and mass invitations.
Webinars might be the central feature of LiveWebinar – but they’re far from all you can do with the service. Users can also host all kinds of immersive meetings, with multiple presenters, call out and dial-in options (for people without an internet connection), and comprehensive participant lists, so you can keep track of who’s present in any conversation.
Just like the webinar template, LiveWebinar also has a “Meeting Interface” template designed to help you reach all your attendees at once. The template comes with a big grid camera layout, so you can see multiple people at once. You can also access live chat at the same time as participating in audio and video conversations, so it’s easier to share messages, ideas, links, and files.
The LiveWebinar meeting experience is extremely easy to use, with an intuitive interface that allows you to control your video and content sharing view. You can even turn the taskbar transparent, so it’s not taking up excess screen space. Other features of your LiveWebinar meeting room include:
The online meeting software even comes with storage, so you can keep track of crucial business applications in the cloud.
Aside from the huge number of webinar and meeting features mentioned above, LiveWebinar also commits to constantly updating and improving its feature list. There are currently a huge number of bonus features available, though your access to these will depend on your LiveWebinar plan. Features include:
LiveWebinar is a highly flexible and scalable solution for hosting meetings and webinars on the same platform. During our testing these features stood out most:
With a free plan to get you started, and discounts on annual packages, LiveWebinar is one of the more generous webinar and meeting tools on the market. Access to constantly updating sets of features, and developer support via integrations and APIs also means that LiveWebinar is ideal for companies that may need to scale their webinar strategy rapidly.
LiveWebinar customer support is one of the few features that seems to be quite lacking in this software. If you visit your profile page, you’ll see the “Contact Us” button in the bottom left, but you’ll only have the option to choose between email support for sales, or support.
There’s no live chat for LiveWebinar, or phone number that we could find. However, they do seem to respond to their emails relatively quickly (within about 48 hours). You can always access the range of LiveWebinar manuals and tutorials to help you if you’re looking for DIY support.
LiveWebinar’s pricing structure is easy enough to understand. There’s a free package available for small teams and individuals. Here, you won’t be able to brand your webinars or meetings, but you can access polls, tests and surveys within webinars, and record up to 2 hours of content. Other features of the free service include:
Premium options include:
All great webinars require plenty of planning and preparation. A good webinar software can help to reduce the amount of work you need to do to connect with your audience, by simplifying your hosting experience. LiveWebinar offers a simple, clean, and effective environment for meetings and webinars.
With various templates to help you get started faster, and quick launch features, you’ll be able to design live and Evergreen webinars in no time. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, and all of your features are organized neatly into a sidebar to help you find them.
When the time comes to launch a meeting or webinar, LiveWebinar simplifies this too. You can choose templates and layouts that suit the kind of presentation you want to create, customize your content with branding, and invite participants in a host of different ways.
Even adding a co-host is simple enough, so you can quickly share the spotlight.
As an affordable and straightforward solution or both webinars and meetings, LiveWebinar checks a lot of boxes for today’s business leaders. If you want to host an engaging webinar, or simply bring your teams together for better meetings, LiveWebinar has you covered.
A great Zoom alternative that has allowed our performing arts company to pivot to digital storytelling. Easy interface. Frequent improvements.
Not a whole lot. I wish I would have added some additional features when I purchased my subscription.
We were able to take in a person performances and transition them to a web series using LiveWebinar.
I got LiveWebinar earlier this year to do webinars and live meetings. My initial impression wasn't great -- but it was new and many of the features it has now hadn't been released. Now, I love it. I can use it as a meeting room for my book club. I can also use it for traditional or evergreen webinars. And since it can live stream to Facebook and YouTube, I can be creative with how I deliver my content. Also, during the same session, you can switch modes, going from an instant meeting to a webinar with one click.
There's a bit of a lag when I'm presenting a slide deck. That's going to take some time to get used to. I'll have to practice allowing time for it. I'm still learning how to leverage the tools. The whiteboard looks cool, but I haven't had a chance to play with it. We did practice doing a webinar with a team member doing slides for me. It worked, but the lag made it confusing. I was never sure that he was moving to the next slide. We decided it was best if I controlled the slide deck and he moderated comments.
I'm adding live events to my marketing strategy, so it's important to have a good tool for webinars and meetings.
First of all: the most important thing is that users don't have to download and install software to join a meeting. To me that has always been a deal breaker when using other platforms. Corporate users that didn't have permissions to install the client or even technically challenged people that didn't know how to install. That's not the case with Livewebinar. A simple link and that's it. Users are in the meeting.
The layouts are not the best. I know that Livewebinar has been improving on this. The other thing is that they still haven't delivered on the remote-control feature. Once this was promised but it is still in the works.
I am hosting video meetings with my students to teach and help them execute marketing strategies. The benefits are clear because they can understand what to do, share screen, talk to me in real time. So they are progressing in the course well.
Embedding the stream onto our website is easy and allows us to use LiveWebinar to generate further interest in our mission.
Some of the features that were part of our package when we signed up disappeared. Tokens can't be tracked to individuals, so we lose a lot of feedback on the people we reach. The system is glitchy when is comes to mass mailing links to our online events.
We are trying to create an online community where we had a live in-person community. We have realized that we have much better info available to us about what we do successfully and not as successfully when online than when in person.
Features are great, good connectivity, our clients do not need to install anything on their computer to participate in the webinars.
The settings screen could be perfected a little, maybe add an option to save the settings in a template so whenever we have the same type of meeting, automatically all my settings and files will be loaded.
The sales meetings we had with clients with this platform have been priceless. Even before Covid we used it a lot, but now even more often.
LiveWebinar has too many amazing features but the ones I like the most are: Screen sharing and whiteboards Broadcast to Social Media Polls & Surveys Call to action engagement Vote Manager Evergreen events Break-out rooms
The back office dashboard isn't the best I've seen and takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing.
Building sales webinars to my offers on the back of a quiz funnel.
We are an early adopter with a 500 pax plan and 10 rooms. What we like is that LiveWebinar provides both Webinar and EverWebinar options like WebinarJam. Unlike Zoom, this tool doesn't require your attendees to install anything on their computers. The support team is super responsive and always answer our emails real fast in a respectful manner. They also welcome input for improvements, which is a good sign. The video quality was poor initially with our participants complaining about it. But when this was brought up, last year they overhauled the video drastically and my mastermind participants love the video quality now. You can load multiple documents to show your participants with a tab-like feature. That's one tab Video file, another tab PPT.
Some attendees find it confusing to use the meeting controls as it is not as intuitive as Zoom. Perhaps because they are more used to Skype and Zoom. I would like them to improve the UI with some expert advice. I would also like them to create a user community like a Facebook Group so that we can learn from each other. Not sure whether other platforms have this feature. LW has an issue with PPT slide numbers showing up during presentations that alert participants of the number of slides remaining. ("Slide 5 of N" appears below the presentations slides) - however, I am told is being fixed now. We never had a chance to properly test the breakout room functionality for a real event - so cannot comment on it yet. All in all, this is a great tool for a responsive team with big goals. So, I am happy to recommend the tool, and wholeheartedly support them in their growth.
Masterminds, Webinars, Meetings.
I like all the range of features that they offer. It's like Google Hangouts, but improved! Not to mention all the integration they have - a dream come true.
So far so good, I don't have something to dislike about it.
Meetings have never been easier. You can improve the efficiency of daily communication with just one tool.
LiveWebinar is easy to set. You can schedule your webinar in advance, put your logo, set your welcome, and thank you pages for the attendee. I like how you create the polls to show during the webinar. If you grow in the attendee's number, you can buy new places on the go. You can download the list of attendees and invite a co-host. No frills, but effective. You can even interact with a whiteboard. Recordings are very trustworthy, you don't need anything else then click the recording button and everything is managed and available in the cloud.
There is no walkthrough inside and finding the guide is a little bit tricky. By the way is very easy to use. I had some trouble with integrating my marketing automation software, but I think the issue was on the other side. Guys at LiveWebinar supported me by email with efficiency.
Because of the pandemic, I needed to transform some events from physical to online. I had no clues about using webinar software, and looking for an affordable solution, I bumped into LiveWebinar. Easy going in a couple of days, I had all my materials ready, the webinar settled, my co-host invited, and the list of my attendees available on my dashboard. I can send a last-minute invitation, set recurrent webinars, and download my assets whenever I want. The price also is affordable and can be personalized according to your need.
I like the ease and versatility of the webinar package. The ability and ease of going from a webinar environment to a meeting environment is extremely beneficial for my needs.
I have not found anything significant that I do not like.
I conduct training and education for our business team. They enjoy the security and ease of joining the webinar and/or meeting
Sharing sources - screen, PPTX, videos Polls and questions are easy to integrate and show Ease of use Multiple presenters being able to change the layout of the screen or use change which source is being presented (though its a double-edged sword if someone clicks things without realizing what they're doing)
Some sporadic connection issues recording being reliant on server availability knocking to enter - much too loud and gives each first-time presenter a heart attack Lack of an Attendee preview Lack of custom layouts to save and reuse for future events
COVID-19 has impacted our semi-monthly "Business Analyst Meetup" events which we used to host in a physical location. With LiveWebinar we are able to host events with external speakers very easily (MS Teams has issues with non-Office365 users). The fact that presenters and attendees are not required to install anything makes this software easier to use. We've been able to more quickly and easily set up events as we're no longer reliant on external bars/cafes being able to host the meetups. We've expanded our reach from our city to all of Poland.
It's very intuitive, easy to use, and highly customisable - you can get your room to look exactly how you want it to. My favourite thing about LiveWebinar is the fact that you don't have to download anything. All you need is a link and you're good to go! It's also much more affordable than other tools of this kind, even though in my opinion it offers better features.
Nothing - I like everything about this product.
I've been using LiveWebinar for real-time remote communication and it's by far the best tool I have tried. As you don't need to install anything, it saves a lot of time and is the perfect solution even for those who are less tech-savvy.
This software seemed confusing at first, but then I started appreciating the granular control over every single aspect of the conference
A steep learning curve, above all when you are on air with 60 people watching at you, and you don't already know all the functions
I arrange weekly meetings with my clients, even during Covid-19 I am near all of them
I like the way it acts. Its interesting for the technical people and i like the way it works. I like its visuals.
If someone is not technical. It is difficult to understand for that person. It should be little easy.
No problems solved. Its benefits are that we can modify according to our needs and this is why its interesting
HTML5 meeting is one of the best for online meeting.i like it because I can make the meeting online easily.it is accessible at any time from any device.through this we can host, customise successful webinar.
Till now, I have not found anything that I don't like.everything is running smoothly.sometimes, due to network issue some problem is there.other than that everything is okay.
We are hosting the webinars through this and it is quite helpful.
Easy to install and use. Amazing support.
I use Pro and it does not have tracking code function.
I needed a cost effective solution for webinars up to 500 seats. Reliability because I had several problems with WebinarJam before, e.g. stuck after a few slides, cloning did not work, support refused to correct Hungarian translations and it looked ridiculous. No download, just click on the link.
Classroom, Meeting, and Webinar solutions in one single software.
I could not find any option to pre-load my presentations, videos, and handouts to share during the presentation. The CTA screen should be more attractive.
The problem of a single window marketing through webinars, customer retention through one-to-one meetings, and regular contacts through the 'Meeting' option.
It has all the features I need! Whiteboard, Screenshare, Breakout Rooms, Document Sharing, Vote Manager, Streaming to Social Channels, RTMP Live Stream, Embeddable Player, Test & Survey, HD Recording, Chat and Q&A Mode. Plus it integrates fully with HeySummit, another platform I use.
1. When an attendee is made a presenter they have full access to the storage area which may contain files not meant for the session. 2. When you expand the video to the main stage, the quality of the video is not that great, even if the bandwidth is excellent on the attendee's end.
Launching webinars, web conferencing and web meeting sessions is extremely simple and quick to set up. The step-by-step setup walks through each step with relative ease. It also offers a lot of display and functionality control depending on the purpose of the session.
I love being able to customize almost every detail of my streaming interface with my brand, my brand colors, etc. I also appreciate the API which I anticipate using to customize even further.
The customization interface is a little clumsy and add of my last look, it didn't seem to be able to customize the size and icons etc on the context/mute/disconnect buttons. My colleagues got a little lost the first time they used it since it's not 100% common with zoom/webex in that regard.
We were looking for a less costly and more flexible meeting platform for our monthly streaming presentations and occasional impromptu face to face discussions/demonstrations.
The ability to have my whole company in a meeting and work using a whiteboard while simultaneously having the cameras on. I like the option of recording the meeting as well.
I have nothing bad to say about the software
Better meetings that google hangout
