Nintex workflow makes it easy/user friendly to automate processes that would otherwise take custom code.
Some the error messages when there are issues could be more informitive.
Many, we have workflows for approval processes, to move items from one list to another and many others.
Lots of already available functionality, simplicity to use
Nothing relevant, the tools does want it says.
Improve workflow quality
Ability to connect to database and execute scripts
the rendering is quiet slow in the internet explorer, when debugging specific parts of workflow wont open.
handling business workflows and processes
Nintex workflow is a tremendous timesaver. The graphical interface and "pre coded" toolset has allowed us to take advantage of process improvement and process quality improvement opportunities that would have been impossible without it.
WE have not found anything that has caused us to question our decision.
We are trying to control the quality of data used in certain governance based processes within our portfolio management environment. We want to be able to reuse the data and be assured that all required data is provided in each step of the process.
Nintex WF allows us to meet business requests when SharePoint can't by itself. WF empowers use to build more and do more, especially when paired with Nintex Forms.
Can't print from Nintex Forms without Nintex Enterprise, a $60k upgrade just to print, can't use any of the other features since we only have SharePoint Standard.
Nintex Workflow allows us to sync data from one list to another to create top level dashboard that shows a summary of data from all projects for example. We also build a lot of approval workflows for various needs.
I enjoy the simplicity and layered approach. It means people can follow the process at a high level. If they need to drill down for more information, they can.
Nothing stands out as being there not to like. There are a few minor issues. When the option to expand the process within a process, using the small arrow at the bottom right of sub-processes, it will occasionally render incorrectly and slightly change the process mapping.
We are mapping our core processes using Promapp. The benefits are being incrementally realised. The simplicity of linking process means that staff can seamlessly pass from one process to another. This also drives discuss between Process Stewards and Experts when interfaces need strengthening. The platform for ranking and feedback for processes is driving improvements. Process feedback and performance ranking is on display which drives improvements.
I love the ease of use for this application as well as the diversity it offers.
I have nit used this long enough to dislike anything at this time. So far I love it.
Promapp is new to our business and will be used highly for processes currently making it easy for our employees to do their job.
I like the ability to easily integrate multiple line of business systems and quickly create applications to manages business processes. Rapid development and reuse of existing objects make building applications much easier with minimum use for code. SmartObjects, SmartForms and the workflow engine make K2 a very powerful enterprise development platform.
I used to struggle a bit with the workflow development environment however this has recently replaced in K2 Five with a much more intuitive and user friendly engine.
Mainly administrative processes such as financial approvals, file management, and booking applications.
Easy to use, easy to understand. K2 hides all programming for user that do not know how to program but still let you connect to your own system. the support team is excellent and always find a way to solve your problem
There is some correction needed to be done in the class that confuse some of the users.
K2 integrates perfectly with the new WMS we have. furthermore it helps to track the status of any Production Order throughout all the Production step (including testing and packaging).
NWC and all the great features that is coming in the workflow platform. The extensions is also something that impressed me very much. I am leaving San Diego frustrated because I've seen so many good things and I will have to come back to my 2010 environment. So, this is a good thing because now I am even more inspire to move our environment to the next level
Sharepoint can temperamental and so is Nintex Workflow on prem. So. we look forward to see better ways to justify a failure, so we can blame the SharePoint team with confidence!
We have more than 300 worklows and 20 of them really complex that brings quick beneffit to the business. We (IT) dont have the man power to support all the needs, so we need a platform that can drive some of the automation. That's what we love with SharePoint
the modern way to design forms and processes
- instability of P&D - bad communication way regarding changes. when existing features are changing, not all changes where communicated. means the developer has noch chance zu act. only react after the issue appears.
digital transformation of processes. less media cuts more efficiency faster development
the platform is easy to learn, easy to build, easy to deploy and once deployed easy to use. The solution is also stable and there are options for multiple platforms like SharePoint On premise, Office 365 or Nintex Workflow Cloud just to use as a cloud hosted solution.
Tough to keep track or what is different between the different versions - on Prem, O365, NWC - parity will be great!
automating manual and paper based/email based processes. benefits include higher productivity and lower errors
The lazy approval aspect was a real game changer for automating approval processes in our organization.
It can sometimes be slow to load or refresh.
Makes it easy for approvals and also for doing calculations within SharePoint or transferring data.
Ease of usability. Drag and drop workflow. Fun application to develop in.
Workflows can't take longer than I like. PDF generation. Hiding man bars and ribbons.
Student eforms. Ease of development.
Product features No code A+ user experience
Not relevant based on my experience with the product
Workflow automation
Easy to use, don't need a lot of coding experience
I don't have any problems with the Nintex, bugs with SharePoint sometimes
creating paperless workforce
Fantastic ROI and great customer support
Really not much that I don't like with Nintex!
Workflow management
Workflow Designer, Connection to many platforms, Evolving from a SharePoint AddOn to a more universal workflow and content automation platform
Still no parity between Nintex for SharePoint, Nintex for O365 and WFC. Same for forms (universal forms will be great(
Travel and Leave Requests, Document Approval, Document Generation, NoCode Mobile Apps, All kind of customer specific processes (We are a Nintex Partner)
You can get something built fast, it isn't time consuming to get something up and running.
It can be limiting in what you can do; often I have to use several different workflows because of the size limitations.
Business automation - getting rid of paper
My favorite part of Nintex Workflow is the ability to create and manipulate SharePoint list data. We've used it to scale learning across the enterprise, and the experience has been unbelievable.
There are a variety of farm- and/or environment-specific nuances that make it difficult for us to understand why something is or isn't working a particular way for us. This makes troubleshooting and searching for solutions very time-consuming.
We are solving the problem of scaling task-based learning to an organization of 58,000 associates.
