The guide paths are handy for learning OutSystems, it is straightforward to work with and has many features in the forge that we can use to save time and work, it is also a dynamic platform.

The certification price it's a little expensive. Needs to have more information on the guide path to be prepared for the exam to the certification mobile, more examples of exams will be helpful.

With OutSystems is fast and easy to create screens to present to the clients, is also easy to change the screens in the meeting with the client to accept the new requirement.

It's well thought it. It takes away the tedious part of software development by automating those tasks. It has a good balance of being fairly easy to learn, but to master it is quite difficult.

The main development environment, Service Studio, is slower than high-code IDEs. Development quickly becomes more difficult once you want to build stuff outside of the out-of-the-box supported functionality of OutSystems. And finally, I get the feeling that some highly demanded community requests aren't being addressed, while quick commercial wins are.

It's helping to create business-critical applications in a fraction of the time it would normally take. Also, if things aren't working as expected, fixing it and releasing a new version takes only a few clicks.

Outsystems Service Studio has a clean interface with no room for ambuiguity. The Interface, Logic and Database is clearly seperated in the Service Studio. I was amazed at the speed with which i was able to develop a solution. I like that i can run my own SQL queries to perform operations on database. The Service Studio has a modern outlook.

Outsystems official training courses can include more handson exercises and examples. Also the free plan only offers 2GB of storage which i feel is not sufficent to explore the platform.

Outsystems has helped us to develop simple data collection form apps as a native as well as web app. Outsystems has enabled me to deliver solutions faster.

Dislike things were overcome with the new version and its cool and better now

I face some publish issues, but now it got resolved and it's good now, and Awaited Widgets were got updated and its an additional worth package for developers and we expect more from our system in future

Code becomes more visual, and simple to build. There are a lot of good examples and how-to's, as well as documentation. Technical depth is much more controlled due to the architecture dashboard tool.

The best thing is the easy to understand its interface and we can easily create web and mobile applications without any effort And a newbie can also use it easily.

Nothing in particular but if you provide more detailed training it will be better.So we can learn faster and build faster.

The problem handling code,database connecting them , building interai interfaces,versioning,continuous deployment all these things can be easily done.

There are many feature that are available in Outsystems such as pre-build applications for various domains, forge , forum and support functionality and many more.

Considering the dislike points in OutSystems are not major but few are there. Recent Service studio UI is not as eco-friendly as like before. I loved the old and if there is an option to choose the version, I'll choose the old service studio UI.

There are various points that are considered when compared with other competitive software. Outsystems have the capability to build applications in low time when compared to others.

From what I can see, they are continuously upgrading the platform, that creates a platform that we can rely on.

It has great community support with readily available components to extend our applications. With quick deployments and monitoring support, it makes the life of a developer very easy.

Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to customize the applications and make it scalable as per the user requirements. The pricing of licenses is still a hiccup for multiple organizations who want to start the digital transformation journey with Outsystems.

The best thing about the platform is that it has all the security features and devops on board. The developer can worry about what really matters, which is the functional part of the application.

What I think is still lacking on the platform is a way to work with "branch". Other than that, I only see positives.

The newest version of Service Studio is still not stable enough. have caught a few errors and missing functionalities.

We have legacy apps in OutSystems, and it's much easier to rework and rebuild almost everything with OutSystems. Any other language would be most profitable to just start over with a new APP.

The interface of the Service Studio application is more useful and advanced than the old versions. However, it is still possible to make some improvements at this point to appeal to more users.

I am working in OutSystems for the last 2.5+ years and still enjoying the best low code platform. I don't see any point to dislike as of now and i have made OutSystems as my primary skills .

It is helping me in delivering the projects in a very short span. Continuous deployments post-release Less code, Less complexity, Less maintenance but more fun

The fact that OutSystems is a low-code platform, allows you to change your path easily. I don't have an IT background, but 3 years ago I decided to change my life, and by attending a 3 months training, I was able to easily learn how to work with OutSystems and immediately was hired as junior developer. It also introduces you to other technologies, like CSS, JavaScript, and makes you want to learn more! The community is awesome, helpful, and always available for you

I don't believe there are downsides. Sometimes the platform gets a bit "buggy", specially with new releases, but you just need to report them to the team and find a workaround while they're taking care of that
