Customizing reports. Also it is easy to search for answerss to questions
The longer you have it, the slower it seems to get
ERP from our construction software is the most useful feature. Having to double entry purchase order information and subcontractor invoices would be very time consuming
Quickbooks does great in bookkeeping. Easier to navigate. We have been a customer of QB for 7 years!
The use of single and multiuser mode. Restrictions on bank feeds at times.
record keeping.
I love that QuickBooks Enterprise is so easy to use. It offers a larger database than other QB solutions and hence is a good app for big companies as it can manage a higher volume of inventory items, bills, invoices, etc. I also love that it integrates smoothly with the other apps I use which saves money and time. Plus, the system offers sophisticated inventory features that help you to easily manage all stages of the inventory lifecycle. The system has been around for years which makes it possible to employ a bookkeeper who has many years of experience using the solution, integrates seamlessly with CRM platform, and offers customizable templates for invoices, collection letters, etc.
The only downside is the pricing is on the high side as you have to shell out for a new package annually.
Bank reconciliation, complete payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, full financial statements, user-friendliness - great!
QB is very easy to use. You can add multiple client and multilple invoices in it. No limit to use and easy to search it anything in QB. Fetched consultant data and client data and old data with a single click.
I can see only 1 drowback is while we need to close partial invoices due to discount then it it time consuming. Because we need to open single invoice and then need to close. So it is taking so much time.
If small balance cases will be resolve then it is one of the best app to use. When we received the payment of multiple invoices and all invoices were partial open after payment application then it will take time. so if new feature will come to close it then it is best software.
Easy to use Paperless (better for the environment) Easy to learn
Nothing, this system is perfect. I will continue to use this for life
Makes accounting easier and it is easy to understand for all my employees
We process payroll for our own company and other companies we manage. We are able to have an account for each company.
The dollar limits that create errors and don't allow us to process a pay.
It allows us to process our payroll electronically.
User-friendly software that makes it easy to keep track of everything. I use it for multiple businesses, and being able to open 2 companies simultaneously is a game-changer for me!
Working with multiple companies, some do business with each other. I would love to see the software be able to import a purchase order automatically and convert it to a sales order.
I can do 90% of the accounting and payroll. I only need a CPA to check over and pay quarterly taxes and then do our year-end tax filings, which leads to more money in my pockets at the end of the year. Receivables and payables are easy to track and keep everything flowing smoothly.
The interface is not as complex as compared to other softwares.
It's quit heavy, which sometimes causes my machine to freeze.
I used it to analyse my accounts. Actually I'm just using it to understand the practical accounting being taught in the class room.
Quickbooks desktop allows me to enter debits and credits easily. We keep all of our credit card and bank records in Quickbooks. It's also easy to attach invoices/statements to each transaction.
Integrating with bill.com was a little challenging to get used to at first. I also wish there were more options for bank feeds, as right now we can't sync our bank.
Keeping track of our finances is #1 priority to make sure we're in compliance with all state and federal regulations when it comes time for taxes. Quickbooks makes it easy to track everything down to the penny.
very easy to learn and flexible program to use for a wide variety of industries
The program is not especially geared for the Real Estate
Helps keep the company's books in order and bank accounts reconciled. Also, there are very many reports options and they're very clear
Stores all vendor info as well as transactions info. Syncs with other modules like Certify Expense, PROCORE, and Banks
Seems a bit dated. Direct Deposit/ACH feature could use som upgrades.
Stores Vendor info and interactions such as transaction history. The reporting feature is great. The Direct Deposit meant for employees allows us to pay our vendors via ACH
Ease of use for someone with an accounting background or without.
Lack of Work-In-Progress accounting tools available.
Brings together all accounting functions and provides us with a great connection to our construction project management in Procore.
The product in general is excellent and integrates well with other products our organization uses.
Don't have a downside at this time. Works great.
We use QB for all our accounting and financial reporting needs. It allows us to provide reporting quickly and in real time.
Ease of use and the updated Profit and Loss Reports.
I have not found any dislikes at this point.
I have not encountered any specific problems, but when I come across something I am not familiar with, I always get helpful service.
The application is user-friendly and all business functions can be done.
Does not integrate with several other applications
Payroll, Job Costing, Inventory, and a Sales
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is just as user friendly as the other desktop versions such as Pro & Premier so no need to relearn anything. The one difference that I love is the fact that you can have up to 30 users, as well as provides you with 14 predefined user roles. You can set your individual user permissions to control access for up to 115 different activities, including the ability to keep a user out of a certain bank account. I love it.
I honestly don't have anything negatPive to say at all. I will just add that this version is best for companies that keep track of a very very detailed inventory.
Enterprise has many of the QuickBooks Accountant edition features built-in, can support files that grow to 1GB in size, and therefore, should move your data faster than in other QuickBooks editions.
this is great for running multi-location businesses as well as multiple different companies. I love that the accountant can go in and do what they need without an issue.
Giving backups of the file to the accountant, they have to restore using the same, Enterprise, version of QuickBooks and can't resotre it in their accountant's version.
Enterprise is really helping me stay organized and on top of my business with the daily flow and financial reviews. Upgrading to enterprise has really helped increase our productivity.
1. Excellent, customizable features 2. Ability to manage all accounting, payroll, banking etc. in one place 3. Easy to setup and use 4. Backups are easier due to the vault etc.
1. Instability/system crashes 2. Lack of direct professional support 3. Limitations on the number of users 4. Built with a "small business mindset" 5. Lack of key reports outside accounting
It's not very expensive compared to Netsuite or Salesforce, or SAP ERP software. It also provides niche good accounting reports etc. It's also very easy to find and fix errors/mistakes.
Everything! I love the shipping; we chose it over our website's shipping module. I love the items and services option and how quickly you can input or change inventory levels and also see a "quick report" of a part # for whatever length of time you need. Best inventory management we have used. Best way to take a customer's order, a very fast and efficient way to input lengthy wholesale orders.
The multi and single-user mode. I wouldn't say I like when I make an invoice but haven't taken the payment yet; it puts the part #s at a negative on one screen and on the screen where you make adjustments to the inventory it's at a 0 and not a negative.
Quickbooks has been the answer to many of our problems over the years, including a trustworthy inventory management system. Integration of orders from our site and knowing if the customer is a returning customer or a new customer, which is very important. It also integrates with our EDI program for large wholesale orders. Easy shipping, I think, is the best thing about Quickbooks, as Our Woocommerce site was 13 unnecessary clicks vs 3 or 4 on Quickbooks.
The ability to run reports that fit my needs.
Integrating items, accounts, etc. through Excel is difficult and time consuming.
Our accountant only uses Quickbooks, so we had to switch.
Quickbooks puts together a small business into one cohesively comprehensive program. I don't have to chase down the info in a bunch of different programs to finish all your reports. its all right there for you in the same basket
there is a steep learner curve jumping into it from the get-go. It's not super intuitive and finding your way around without a tutorial or guidance will definitely be frustrating.
We run everything from daily reports to buying inventory and managing orders. It also offers a cloud backup service. It integrates with third-party software which streamlines outside e-commerce inputs and outputs.
Reports are so easy for Contractor edition.
In timesheet entry, unable to add numbers in the fields (2 hrs + 2.25 hrs = 4.25hrs)
Better tracking of finances.
We all love that Method syncs up with QuickBooks and helps plan our sales calls for the day. This makes our day much more organized and the follow up with our clients is so much better.
We haven't found anything we don't like so far. I am still learning everyday what Method can do. So easy to find solutions when I do run into a problem. The help option is very detailed and the chat box makes it easy to find solutions.
We have cleaned up our database by importing all leads and contacts to one to eliminate duplications. We did have to go from one system to another to log our conversations with clients. Because this links to QuickBooks, we are saving so much time!
I am an accountant and I have started working as a freelancer and i was looking for a good book keeping software and then i found quickbooks for keeping record of transactions accurately.
I am using quickbooks and i havent found any difficulty using this software because quickbooks is a user friendly software, easily accessible and anyone can use it for free.
I am using quickbooks to manage accounts of my clients and to provide them all accounting solution in a professional manner and i can access it from anywhere with my email.
This is very user-Friendly software; any new startup can afford this.
The payroll software does not have tax management; this is a very negative aspect.
It helps save time on bookkeeping and paperwork. It automatically handles some of the easy bookkeeping tasks, saving you time and making your day easier. Reports are very easy to generate and customize.
Quickbooks is easy to use and understand. It tends to be the program most people are familiar with. I can get any report i need.
There is a learning curve to using Quickbooks. I think because it has so much info. You have to learn which reports work for you.
Quickbooks is great at keeping a accurate recording of all the money coming into and going out of my business.
This software is easy to use and allows for multiple companies. It helps streamline the bookkeeping process making it easy for anyone to use.
It can only be accessed from the computer it is installed on.
Makes importing banking activity easy and automatically matches them to the transactions you've entered. Helps to make sure nothing has been overlooked.
I have been using QuickBooks for the past 7 to 8 years, and I am delighted with it; it is very easy to use. Even if a person is a beginner, he can also use it. One of the best accounting software in th world.
In my opinion, I am delighted with it, and there is nothing I dislike with it if there is a solution for every transaction in QuickBooks.
I am solving almost my every problems in QuickBooks Like i am managing my customers I am managing my vendors i am managing my Inventory so overall my business performance in enhanced
The ability to import from the sheets and use it to bill clients
How slow it is. And that the systemcrashes without saving not working properly. This product would be better if it could move faster with more data points. I would like
We are tracking employees time at job sites through t sheets and then importing to quick books enterprise to bull clients for time worked. We are more productive than using time sheets.
The best features for me are the reports. By far, the reporting surpasses competitors and is easy to use; the memorized reports are my favorite feature.
I'm not too fond of some of the cosmetics of Quickbooks. It can be confusing to navigate at times, but there is always more than one way to accomplish a task in QBD!
We have used QBD for a number of years now, I have always found Quickbooks Enterprise to be beneficial with record-keeping, A/R, A/P, and for keeping good notes on customer accounts.
