I liked how it let me change my hours at any point of the day even from mobile devices and that it showed me my overtime hours as well as letting me put in notes as to why I did overtime or left early

There is really nothing to complain about

I just put in my hours to get paid. I realized it let me keep track of my overtime easier than trying to calculate it on my own

It was convenient to use in place of paper, because it automatically gets uploaded.

The interface takes some getting used to.

I don't like how difficult and confusing it is to have to edit a clock in and that if you clock in in error you can't remove it.

Shannon O was amazing. She was patient with my novice requests and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. Because of her help, my office will probably invest in TSheets.

Issues with overtime, PTO, sick day and vacation tracking.

TSheet is pretty straight forward when it comes to time clocks. It has a start, it has a stop, and it has a jobs selections. You can easily add notes, record from your phone, and go back and edit any of your clocked times to best describe what you've done.

My biggest dislikes are the overall user experience. I've tested TSheet against our other program, Toggl, and it's just clunky. It's slow to clock in and out and it's difficult to edit. For my department, we have a tendency to migrate between our duties based on traffic and volume. With TSheets, unless you are specifically assigned to that job or it's on the calendar, you can create or change to a different job. You can place it in your notes, but for the sake of data and analytics, it only skews our numbers.

We'd love to have a functional and flexible time clock platform that both provided easy job shifting on the fly (when we change because of volume and demands) but also has all of our schedules nicely organized in one system.

I like that i am able to just open the app right on my phone and tap a button to be "clocked in" in the morning and do the same when i am going to "clock out" at the end of each work day. Also it is very convenient that i can see how many hours i have worked, or who else is still on the clock.

I don't like when every once in awhile my "clock in" does not register and my time is not on the clock, so my boss will have to physically put my time in - which can be inconvenient at times.

Well for one it makes it a much simpler process for each employee to clock in and out in the morning. Also it is nice to be able to see who is and isn't still on the clock. Overall it benefits each employee to be able to do everything right from a mobile device.

Easy to maneuver through the program and prompts help you to do the right operation the first.

Nothing was an issue. This program was simple and straightforward in use and I would recommend it.

just trying to get into tsheets was having problems

It was a simple easy system to set up and use when we transitioned many of our employees to nonexempt. The mobile app was helpful.

I had to still do a lot of manual work to get the data to payroll including downloading reports every payroll cycle, cross checking the accuracy to make sure our "non exempt" folks put in their time correctly and then sending it to our Controller. It was not a seamless process of tracking time to payroll because it is a standalone system. This was about 18 months ago so maybe they have some integration with some payroll vendors now.

Our HRIS software did not allow us to capture FLSA compliant digital time sheets so we went with an additional vendor for this/

It is easy to fix a mistake on your timesheet and allows you to leave a note as to why there was a mistake.

That tracking your location is always on, even when it says it isn’t tracking you it is.

Helping me remember to clock in and out on time. I have realized it is easy to request off time and to make notes for my hr department.

It's simple to use and does all that it needs for time tracking.

There is a lot of manual set up and tends to lose info or not submit unless using the chrome extension

The app did not always allow the employees to clock in. Also the office side was rather confusing.

The integration was relatively easy to purchase and set up. The TSheets and ADP teams do the mapping. Employees were able to successfully enter and approve hours without any additional training. The export to ADP Workforce Now is simple, albeit incomplete in our case.

We were looking to export payroll and vacation hours from TSheets into ADP. However, the integration does not touch the ADP Workforce Now vacation module. This means that only non-vacation hours need to be manually entered -- and that introduces two things that we were looking to avoid: risk of errors and manual labor.

Looking to simplify getting hours submitted, approved and entered into ADP. Regular and OT hours import fine. PTO hours do not import into the ADP vacation module so the solutions doesn't save any time for us.

Tsheets has the barebones structure that is required for time sheet reporting and compliance. It provides the format that is easy to use and simple.

Tsheets could use some more comprehensive features like allowing users to charge time in advance for further periods.

Tsheets has brought time sheet keeping to be digital as opposed to physical timecards.

I like how I can complete my t sheets on my phone

Benefits I like are how it better tracks specifically the hours you put in and for which grants

Integration with QuickBooks made it easy to track hours and pay time based on hours worked.

GPS tracking thru app rarely worked. I could almost never see live tracking. Only when the employee clocked out could I see his route.

Sometimes it takes awhile to load. This is when patience comes into play.

TSheets is great to keep track of employee work. We utilize it to code jobs, service types, and hours. TSheets also rolls into our QBO which is extremely helpful. As far as versatility - employees clock in on the site with their mobile device. It's extremely easy to use. All of our employees, young and old are able to easily utilize the application. We also like that it keep employees clocked in once it is set up on their phones. There is no need to continue logging in and out and remember passwords.

We do wish it had more drop down boxes so we could customize the metrics we use for recording hours worked and measure how long it takes an average employee to do a certain job at any given location.

I am able to track hours per employee or per client, schedule employees, and get reports on hours used at any time.

Phone app and desktop app are easy to use

There is no way to remove work completed in Karbon in the list in QBO Time, so you are stuck with every single work created in Karbon even it if is completed.

No manual timesheets are require anymore as it is all online, with the Karbon integration to captures what I am working on.

The reminder feature for clocking in and out is very helpful.

It doesn't track my earned PTO. The reminder to clock back in from lunch is 5 minutes prior to the end of the break which is a good idea in theory but there is no additional reminder to clock back in (and clocking in early isn't an option??). I cannot figure out how to add/edit my break time on an already submitted day.

No benefits have been discovered.

We use Intuit's suite for a lot of different things, so the interface was not too difficult to get used to. It was similar enough and intuitive.

It was extremely glitchy, did not have the sort of timer system that I needed, and the customer service was horrible. It was horrendous waiting times and when you did speak with a representative they were hardly useful, and responses took forever to receive.

We attempted to use Tsheets to track billing time for accountants working on different accounts. We did not stick with it.

As a salaried employee I never really understood why timesheets were required given the full time hours of work.

It was tedious and inaccurate. It isn’t appropriate for full time salaried individuals.

Again, I didn’t like it but it was chosen for my company. It likely worked well for a nonprofit for reasons I wasn’t aware of.

nothing really. its a good program that does what it should. at times though its a little slow. bbut that doesn't stop us from using the program.

we use it as en electronic time sheet.We have realized that its better to use electronic time sheet recording then paper. Also this program has more features.

The user interface loads quickly and performance (speed and latency) overall was good.

The user interface is very clunky and old-fashioned, and the mobile apps leave a lot to be desired. Workflow very awkward.

The app was easy to use and the reports were the best around.

That my employees couldn't clock in for one reason or the next and then as the administrator I couldn't help them get logged back in due to not being able to access their personal information. I was the administrator that put in all their personal information in the beginning but then was no longer allowed to help them after. If they needed to call in for assistance I either had to call in and figure out all the steps they needed to do beforehand and then pass that information along or I had to sit on the phone with them and walk them through the process. This would keep my employees from being able to work. There were also times that I as the administrator could not log in and was unable to do my job as well.

I do not know since we switched to a new program.
