The entire phone system customizations. Soft phone. IVR. Video conf.
Price is much more than any other should ever pay
it bogs my system down but I am at least able to try to keep meetings all in one spot.
While you are on a Meeting/Video Meeting/Phone/Chat, you can seamlessly change between the various channels as well as switch to and from other devices without having to reconnect.
Not as popular as other collaborative tools on the market but far superior in functionality/price for business and personal use.
Keeping connected and able to collaborate with colleagues and friends. With RIngCentral Office, you really can work from anywhere (WFA). The flexibility to transition from your computer to your phone and back provides true flexibility. RingCentral frees us from the tether of the desk for all of the calls/meetings we are all on.
It is a great way to connect easily with my co-workers.
At this point in time, there is nothing I dislike about the program.
Being able to connect with co-workers no matter where we are makes is so much easier to communicate about various things.
The best feature is that we can add a virtual number to RingCentral Phone and use that for Video Calling. I also like the chat option, syncing to google calendar and call recording :) It also allows forming teams and enables the creation of separate contact lists for personal and professional use.
Whenever I open the meeting link from Google Calendar, it always asks me to choose between opening it on the browser or the app. It does not remember my choice.
I am in India, and my clients are in the US, and this helps me connect to them on their cell phones as well through the calling feature. I can even bridge Ringcentral with my sales platform Hubspot and SalesForce, which is a huge advantage.
I am able to use this app not only for the office phone but also I am able to transfer the line so that I am able to recieve my office calls on my cell phone. I am also able to fax and text from the app.
The settings sometimes mess up but I am able to go back and reset them.
The benefit of this RingCentral is that there are so many different features that comes with it.
I like the ease of use with this software, the calls are clear and I never have issues with the connectivity.
I really can't think of anything that I dislike about this.
During Covid we utilized RingCentral Meetings to stay in touch with colleagues and when things got better we used it as a means to work from home and see patients that would come to the office.
I enjoy their app. Very organized, great UI, and not difficult to navigate.
I do wish the menu items could be rearranged or hidden.
Used for meetings and calls.
Very easy, helpful, clear connection, and able to understand everything and a great way to be able to still do what you need to do. As for me, I'm doing physical therapy and not having to leave my home. It is very appreciated that they started doing physical therapy from this app. Thank you for being so great.
You can't use it while browsing another application, you will be muted.
ink of this case: you are in a conf call and you need to search for some information on email app and you need to switch from ring central to outlook. If so, you will be muted. Also, on a phone with quite a lot of memory, ring central is the only app that crashes if you are attempting multitasking and opening another app while ring central is open.
Same interface as Zoom so if you're familiar with that, it's very easy.
Not super confident in the security behind this given it's Zoom out of China
Meeting together as a team regularly, connecting remote staff with office staff
RingCentral meetings is easy to navigate. The host shares a meeting link or meeting ID number that the attendees can follow or type in. Once the meeting is accessed, you're prompted to join with video and microphone on or off, and you can set your default preferences. It is an easy way to host a large virtual meeting. Muting your microphone helps reduce background noise while the host or another attendee is speaking.
I found creating a meeting to be slightly confusing the first time doing so. I did two test meetings prior to the actual meeting i was hosting to ensure it was working properly.
During the pandemic, our company was unable to attend meetings in person. RingCentral allowed us to continue to participate in our normal meetings from home or from our individual offices. We also were able to utilize them for "home visits" since we were unable to go to our client's homes. This was more personal than a quick phone call. Our clients enjoyed being able to see us and communicate as if we were there.
RingCentral is simple to use and offers the security our organization needs to meet with staff and clients. We are also able to host webinars where attendees can preregister.
I like all of the features although there is a limit of how many people can be on the call unless additional licenses are purchased.
It's simple to use and secure. It allowed our staff to meet during the pandemic. We have even been able to use it to host new hire orientation.
I appreciate that Ring Central Meetings is easy to use. The scheduling tool is friendly and makes collaboration a breeze. I appreicate being able to record directly to my computer and not to the cloud where I have to download later. It would be nice to have a feature to record directly to our own cloud environment (google folder).
Ring Central is a great product and I do not have any negative feedback.
Quick collaborative video conferencing.
Some professors prefer to use RingCentral over Zoom in my doctorate of occupational therapy (OTD) program. The interface is very similar to Zoom, so I like the familiarity and ability to chat with professors and other students either individually or to the class.
RingCentral is not as known, so I found it inconvenient to download more than one app for online classes. Also, when I had a poster presentation for my research (which is normally in person but on RingCentral this term due to the COVID-19 pandemic) , I had to make clear to my family and friends that wanted to attend that it would be on an unfamiliar app and to set it up beforehand. However, this is not a major issue.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, online learning is on the rise. RingCentral makes it possible for educators and students to continue learning.
When we have issues, I like the range of support options and teh majority of my support interactions have led to first call resolution.
Sometimes, first line support is less knowledgeable than I think the can or should be.
We went to a virtual office environment 5 years ago and RC was key to that. Having my business phone be at my desk on a "hard" phone AND on my cell phone, with the ability to swap a call back and forth, has been great.
With our entire staff being remote over this last year RingCentral has made that transition much easier. We were able to download the app on our mobile phones to continue our meetings and calls with out work number. Being on video for all our meetings has made the distance much more manageable. I have also enjoyed the ability to read the voicemails and receive and send text messages on the app. Our team has made a fun game out of the virtual backgrounds during the video meetings.
Honestly, RingCentral has been great and I have no dislikes that I have run into in the last year of being out of the office.
We have been using RingCentral for almost two years and over this last year we have learned way more about the system. Using the video during meetings is a job saving tool when talking to team members or clients. It makes the conversation feel more personal and we are able to continue business with the social distancing guidelines.
I like the quality of their technology and their customer service!
I've been using them for about 3 years. I don't know what there is to dislike. They do what they say they do.
They supply my telephone and video conference needs. Because we're not a huge company, their customer service is there when you need them. Sometimes it takes too long for them to answer their phone, but when they do they really try to help and they do help
The meeting scheduler is intuitive, links with Outlook and allows us to easily schedule all our needs. The video meetings work just like other products and frankly mirror the functionality of Zoom.
I think the invitation to users outside of RingCentral should be a bit more clear. We have some clients having issues with logging in because of the difference from other platforms, I imagine as more people use Ring Central for video meetings the better it will be. The phone conference feature is only on the phone application, I wish it was on the desktop version as well.
With working remotely the entire phone system, video system, etc. being cloud based has made it easy. We no longer need multiple other programs and use only Ring Central. One number, One account, one login any where and any time.
This is a full suite service that we utilize. I'm so thankful that we were using this prior to a global pandemic, as we already had this in place to quickly shift to remote internal/external meetings and demos. We also utilize the VoIP feature which is amazing for calling from my computer and our CRM.
If there was anything I dislike it would just be the brand recognition. Right now everything is "ZOOM" and when you tell someone you'll send a RingCentral Meeting, they don't fully understand what you're saying.
We're able to do everything 100% remote. Meetings, presentations, demos, etc. The ability to be virtual is fantastic.
RingCentral Meetings takes into account simple creation and hosting of virtual meetings, with an assortment of alternatives, remembering booking for sake of others. This software is extraordinarily simple to utilize, works over different stages very component, rich brilliant help, Cloud based, savvy contrasted with a facilitated on arrangement. The meetings function admirably. They are anything but difficult to plan. It has ended up being an astounding alternative when settling on video decisions since it has a genuinely basic interface to utilize, and the audio and video quality are great, which permits correspondence to be liquid all through the discussion. It permits to settle on accounts of the decisions in, in an extremely viable route since it gives the choice to pick if need to record just audio or video as well. The virtual backgrounds, supportive these are if have a not exactly ideal telecommuting climate. Snap a picture of tidy up lounge room or office and utilize that as virtual foundation.
RingCentral Meetings being in the screen sharing function, the sound made by the mouse while clicking any component on the screen is exceptionally noisy, which is fairly overpowering for the remainder of the participants in the gathering. There doesn't appear to be a simple method to remember a connection for email to open legitimately to a RingMeetings meeting. The connections take to the Ring site, download a customer, and then dispatch the customer. It isn't cloud based which is a little bummer. Participants often experience difficulty joining the gathering. The headings are additionally not very clear. At the point when issues emerge, Ring Focal help is totally futile.
RingCentral has an instant messaging and capacity to call from the application to telephone numbers. The interface is easy to utilize and permits our workers to have meetings inside with one another and remotely with customers. Based on Zoom innovation, Ring Focal Meetings is a coordinated video conferencing instrument that permits to oversee video conferencing on the fly, or timetable future dates for forthcoming meetings and online occasions. Simple to utilize, in any event, for the individuals who are not technically knowledgeable? Innovation generally is steady.
I love that I have access to my "desk line" wherever I am! I can always access voicemails, schedule conference calls and conduct video conferences with ease.
People who haven't used the RingCentral meetings before sometimes have difficulty laughing a meeting. It says its "powered by Zoom" but it seems to require a few more steps for people that are not familiar with it.
If my clients call me on my "desk line" and I'm out of the office, I can answer and they think I'm hard at work at my desk!
I like the fact that anyone can create a meeting but if that person has to log off, they can turn over "ownership" to anyone else on the call.
sometimes the links don't work, and instead they will prompt you to upgrade or download some updated.
We have been able to have quick daily meetings and if someone is talking you can utilize the chat option and everyone can participate without cutting each other off.
The multiple features allows you to maximize your time, with multi-tasking. Texting, calls, messaging system. Awesome
Sometimes the system gets overloaded and may time -out or freeze
The influx of calls can be intimidating without a reliable system. We are able to engage with our customers in a timely fashion which allows us to set the pace for a great business relationship.
This software is incredibly easy to use - works across multiple platforms - very feature rich - excellent support - cloud based - very cost effective compared to a hosted on-prem solution. This service/software allowed us to easily transition to working from home (on a permanent basis) without any problems. My users can work from anywhere and any time. This service includes phone and video.
At this point (have been using the service for about 11 months), I have nothing negative to say.
Problems solved - Cost savings, work from home, retired legacy systems Benefits - one major benefits we have noticed (being an Office365 customer), not all of our clients can use Microsoft Teams, so this gives us a second option if there are issues with using Teams. The feature set of the Video calls is very strong if you are looking to host large meetings or webinars
Ease of setup and the speed of setup. Our company went from a 2 office, 150 employee company with 16 offices in 6 countries, with over 1500 employees in 36 months. RingCentrals ease of deployment and use, was a great benefit during this growth time.
Their billing can be very confusing. They are getting better and have redesigned their invoices. Some issues getting lines in some countries, but that is almost always due to the countries' telecom restrictions.
We are a rapidly expanding company and RingCentral is able to keep up the pace with us. Phone deployment is never the bottleneck.
The virtual backgrounds. I can't tell you how fun and helpful these are if you have a less-than-ideal working from home environment. You can literally take a photo of your clean living room or office and use that as your virtual background in order to hide the mess a child made, or things you haven't been able to clean up. Alternatively, you can use it just for fun during virtual social events! Also the breakout rooms are fantastic.
Honestly, I can't think of many downsides. Occasionally you might get kicked off due to poor internet connection and the virtual backgrounds don't always work as well as might want. And we've all heard stories of others Zoom-bombing meetings. But overall, it's fantastic.
Problems being solved are simply the working from home factor. You can schedule meetings or just send someone a link for a one-off meeting in real time. RingCentral helps maintain that level of interaction and social atmosphere during COVID quarantine times and allows everyone to be able to 'visit' with their co-workers in both social and business aspects. Benefits can really be summed up quite easily in that RingCentral is allowing business to maintain their in-office work structures while providing the remote-flexibility so many employees desire
The user interface is easy to interact with. It makes it easier for me to prospect and remember who I spoke with and the content of the conversation.
There is nothing I dislike. This product works well for me. One small improvement would be making it easier to switch between the numbers your calling from and able to make this change from the app vs desktop.
I'm able to easily prospect and it helps me call from my computer/headset. This keeps me from having to use my personal cell phone.
RCM is really easy to use. It has great quality, and it's a great price.
It really hasn't given me problems- I highly recommend it.
It integrates with the RingCentral app so I can meet, message, and do calling (also faxing) from one spot. It prevents me from having to have separate apps.
This is the whole package. You have telephone service with hold music, faxing service, conference line, texting and Live Meeting/Webinar all branded with your company logo. Now they have added an app that is for your team so you can stay connected via chat/calendar/documents and more. I advised another client I work with and she started using it as a call center so it really has versatile options and uses.
I set this up for my first client several years ago so there was a minimal learning curve but it is not that difficult.
All communications. I am utilizing the Meetings for weekly conferences, the phone service to ring to my PC, the VOIP phone and my cell for when I am out of the office. I use the texting feature for both team members and clients (and I send mass texts to all the new recruits to remind them of trainings). Considering I work in PA and I have this set up for one client in Indiana and another client in North Carolina.
The interface is simple to use and allows our employees to host meetings internally with each other and externally with clients. This has helped our business during COVID-19. RingCentral Meetings has allowed our sales team the option of meeting with their clients online without having to worry about the customer being loss by not wanting to come into the store.
It is not cloud based which is a small bummer. I would like it more if we could boot the client from the cloud without having to worry about everyone having it installed.
A huge problem we are solving is how to meet with clients remotely. With RingCentral Meetings we are able to do this with ease and efficiently.
