I love how simple it is for me to author content on the platform.
Sometimes it is frustrating to my content authors with just how long the media library takes to open.
We solve managing a lot of content authors on the same platform, while being able to assist with troubleshooting.
I like how customizable and friendly Sitecore is.
Documentation could be a little better, some times is hard to find things or examples for more complex topics.
We are managing our patient engagement via Sitecore and some of the search tools that we use to provide a better experience to them.
Sitecore Experience Platform has been really helpful for us to implement websites with the traffic we have in our company
Nothing. Sometimes it really gets slow which I hate
We are solving Sitecore Workflows which has been a great workout for us in implementing marketing logic
As a new user to sitecore (content author) it is nice to have many online sources for video tutorials and web documentation for implementing projects.
Not so much a dislike, but a wishing there was more information (that I can find), maybe haven't located it yet surrounding implementing personalization in 2019.
Publishing photos and other content in one media library but using in several places on the site.
Sitecore is a very extensible platform - they either have out of the box integrations with most of the major platforms or you can easily build your own.
You have to implement carefully - very powerful platform and potentially to break things if you dont know what you are doing.
We implement for customers to help them tie together various systems and meet their CMS & analytics needs.
I like the componentization aspect of Sitecore. It's interesting to me as a developer but I started out as a Web Production employee just making content updates. I think Sitecore is very user friendly - especially if devs understand how to develop for the Experience Editor!
I found the setup for upgrade to Sitecore 9.0 pretty crazy compared to the previous installations - way too many manual updates for pre-requisites etc - I'm taking the 9.0 dev course right now and finally made it through the installation process - there should be a cert just for that step!
I'm a dev - we always focus on Content Authors - componentizing pages and making things easy for them to edit in the Exp Editor
The best part of Sitecore is that the platform enables marketing with the ability to deliver the personalized experiences our customers are looking for without the need for developers or technology.
Sitecore Analytics seems to be very difficult to get up and running with the necessary event tagging and filtering that need be configured by the development team. We have been very interested in using the Sitecore Marketing features, but haven't been able to get the baseline analytics working how we would like.
We are providing a personalized digital experience for our customers and prospects using the rules engine to provide the right content and the right time in the customer journey.
I love the flexibility that comes with the Sitecore editing experience. As a developer I'm able to easily leverage C# MVC to create powerful components that meet all of my client's needs.
I wish search was easier to set up and customize. Out-of-the-box Sitecore comes powered with solr, but creating custom indexes is a pain. Also, it would be nice if there was an option to have the search engine crawl pages in their entirety like google or other search engines do.
We've converted several sites from difficult-to-manage and slow-performing CMS's over to Sitecore, which allow easy editing, workflow and also much improved performance thanks to Sitecore's caching engine.
Love the contents and speaker panels who share their expertise in marketing experience as well as meeting many people from various companies in SEA Thanks keep it up!
started a litte bit late, around 15 mins delay. otherwise generally okay.
It is uplifting to hear from the experts in hearing what customers need and have to say!
Sitecore continues to be the market leader by constantly upgrading its product, docs, features, customer experience and stays well ahead of the customer needs.
Constantly evolving platform and the need to stay updated.
Upgrading to latest Sitecore versions and the express migration tool offers a great flexibility in upgrading faster.
