Ease of connecting accounts for Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter.
Lack of features that other software has such as Instagram image editors.
Being able to see all stats at a glance and present them to clients in an easy-to-read format.
Our organization was looking for a tool that would allow us to have a system of checks and balances with producing social media content across multiple departments. We needed to be able to have an easy to operate platform that flowed content creation to final approval and publishing, outside of the social apps themselves. SocialPilot is that middle man for us that we needed, and it streamlines our efficiency while helping eliminate room for error when multiple voices could collide on social. It's also user friendly for folks that aren't digital natives - especially helpful for us, when our content creators are largely focused on clinical work, while we as marketers are more in tune with branding and voice.
At first, I disliked the number of emails we were receiving from SocialPilot about using the tool; we purchased our subscription prematurely to implementing it with clinical units, so it was a bit annoying to constantly be badgered by notifications. But I can't really think of anything within the tool itself that stands out as strikingly poor - it does everything we need it to, without being overwhelming. Some might say it doesn't have enough functionality as some other paid options, but for us it was perfect as to not scare away some of our less digital-marketing-adept users.
We solved the problem of needing a restricted approval process from someone creating social media content, to those needing to review for quality and brand standards. This has allowed our creators to simply and easily upload their proposed content, while making it quite simple to check and push forward.
The best feature is the reason why we chose SocialPilot in the first place and that is the approval feature. The contributor can schedule the post for any date and time of his choice and it doesn't get published until it is approved by the manager.
For us the worst feature is that the image is not displayed properly on LinkedIn and as we include the link of our website at the end of our post so it shows the H1 of our website on Linkedin as a description. Another thing that we dislike is that while we have purchased the premium version of SocialPilot but only our CEO has access to insights while me and other managers and contributors need to take a trial to get access to insights which doesn't make any sense.
We are using SocialPilot to market our business socially.
The interface is intuitive and the bugs seem to be getting worked out pretty well. I like the addition of analytics but would like to see a bit more insight into who the most active followers are and what kind of content they are engaging with.
The mobile app still seems a bit buggy. It's not always super responsive and its a bit difficult to make corrections to posts after they are created. Additionally, the app still seems a bit slow to respond leaves me unsure if posts went through or were scheduled correctly.
Being able to promote content multiple times for weeks to come, across multiple channels. Time savings.
It's so easy to post to both Facebook and Instagram simueltaneously, whilst also being able to customise each post to suit the platform.
I've found the reporting to be quite limited. I'd also like to be able to set my timezone, so I'm not always having to convert from PST.
The easy cross-post function has saved me heaps of time.
I like that it allows you to connect to many social platforms without additional costs.
It is not super intuitive to use. And it seems when using it to schedule posts for Instagram, we always get a message that the post generated an error.
Being able to schedule posts across different all in one place.
I like the ability to create teams, build groups, add the initial comments on Instagram and reply to comments through the platform.
I would like to be able to do searches within the tool for Instagram like other platforms. Also, better reporting and the ability to build reports based on groups. It would be nice to be able to select if you want to schedule all platforms to post at the same time, you could, but if you wanted to set different times and could see the best times to post when scheduling posts, that would be great. If it had these three things, I would give it a 10 out of 10. Update 2022: The UX changes have caused the page to go buggy. We will input text for a post and when going to the button to select a day and time to schedule, we may lose the text we inputted by the screen going blank. Additionally, we have received error messages where posts did not make it to the feed or an error message even if the content posted. We're still using it for now, but I hope the latest updates will have the kinks worked out sooner than later. Additionally, the lack of ability for multiple team members to update a post before it goes and without scheduling it to wait approval is lack luster for team collaboration. We found that our content writer can't upload text without uploading a graphic. Our graphic designer has to then remove the image and upload the one they created.
The team is able to create drafts and schedule along with updating scheduled posts. Being able to group posts by clients is very helpful.
I like that i can use p interest while using Facebook pages and groups. Both of these social medias do not always go with the other companies.
I HATE that you can only post so many things daily. I dont that th limit is fair. Its expensive this should not be capped.
Posting to multiple social medias.
The calendar and saves a bit of time posting to multiple sites.
Can only upload one image to a post... Posting to LinkedIn is not currently working...
Not really solving any problems but we are saving some time
I do enjoy that you can post to all social media using Social Pilot
I dislike that I can't tag people on Instagram and Facebook using Social Pilot. i also dislike that you can't post to more than one twitter account at a time

i ve problems with posting content in a easy way. it s too many steps
I like the web interface for social pilot.
The app is a bit less than dependable when pushing Instagram notifications. It became rather frustrating, resulting in us deploying other softwares for our Instagram publishing needs.
Scheduling social has been incredibly helpful, saving hours of work.
It is a helpful tool to schedule posts but functions are missing.
Reel and other functions are not available. UX can be better.
It is helping me schedule posts for multiple social media accounts.
Maybe the calendar, it helps me see when and what kind of post will go out. And maybe the post preview as well.
The whole UI. It looks as if it came from 10 years ago. It's just not user-friendly enough. Eg. I would love to bulk upload pictures, then make a generic post and drag and drop where and when I want to use it. This whole post-creation method is just a nightmare. I would love to see a better calendar (which is not by month but I can scroll it continuously). Post menu has a lot of unnecessary options - like there should be only posts option where I can select what kind of view I want to use (or you can select which one you prefer, calendar or the other) - and from there you can create a post etc.
It solves only what other SM schedulers solve. I don't have to use the different platforms to schedule posts, but there's only one place where I can manage everything.
