I use Social Pilot to manage several client's social media campaigns. I can create posts for multiple platforms, schedule them, and queue them for my proofreader to approve or edit. The features are much better than Hootsuite, in my opinion.
You can't resize images in the app, and it displays stretched images on Instagram. You can't choose your video thumbnail.
I don't have to go onto clients social media sites all time; I can schedule thing in advance.
Ease of use and connections to most needed platforms
When a reshare post has issues with an instagram image due to aspect and it isn't easy to fix/update on the fly

In the Saas space the software is usually done well and the service is done poorly, Social Pilot service and in particualr their technical advisors are what made us choose the platform over it's competitors
Not specific to social pilot but the integrations with LinkedIn still paste a link as opposed to pasting directly into the platform, the performance on facebook and instragram is much more seemless

It is very difficult to get any kind of disadvantage in Socialpilot but if you can get it when you are using it at the beginning and it is because of the lack of familiarity with the platform as it needs some very rare configurations and after making the appropriate adjustments can give you a very important plus within the communication and advertising of your company, this is based on our experience with the use of this solution

When the Social Pilot platform was updated a few months back, I needed and received friendly, courteous efficient support to solve my issue. Still missing direct publishing to Instagram but I assume this too is coming down the pipeline.

Socialpilot is an excellent inexpensive social media tool that help me easily to connect a lot of profiles from different social media accounts, easily find relevant and popular content to share, and increase my website’ Traffic.

You can't tag people ahead of time on LinkedIn - you have to edit the post once it's live.

Reporting capabilities are there but you have to upgrade to mix and match companies and platforms. Sometimes, the accounts are disconnected, and it can be a pain to reconnect. That doesn't happen frequently, but when it does, it's frustrating.

Very simple and organized. As a social media manager/freelancer it has everything I need, and it is at a good price in comparison to other tools. I also enjoy the Canva integration and social inbox.
Not many other third-party applications other than Canva, and lacks some more advanced new features. Delay on updates (for example LinkedIn carousel) compared to competitors.
Very simple to create posts and schedule them, and good visualization of the calendar. Allows me to post to multiple accounts but customize for each, and plan in advanced for multiple clients/platforms.

Social Pilots platform is intuitive and easy for my entire team to use.
Pulling analytics & data can be tedious because there is not a centralized dashboard that allows you to see a high level overview of everything at one time.

Price is competitive, and much more cost-effective than the bigger platforms. It's easy to use and support is responsive. Calendar is user-friendly. Easy to pull off analytics and reports.
Glitches occasionally, you can't tag individuals in Linkedin, you have to use static graphics to schedule stories, you can't schedule posts to Facebook groups you are a member of, only ones you have created.
It's saving time and making our social media management more efficient through the ability to be able to post across multiple platforms from one source, rather than having to go into individual platforms which was previously very time-consuming.

I've had issues posting to Instagram for several months and when I talked to the reps they said it was one time glitch but it's not been fixed.
I can post what I need to and schedule things as needed. It's great for everyday scheduling and posting. And it's an affordable price for what it offers. I have been pleased for the time.
I love being able to schedule social posts ahead of time for multiple accounts. SocialPilot makes it really simple.
I typically use the "add to queue" feature, but sometimes when I schedule a specific post for a specific day and time it doesn't replace what I have set up for my "queue" so I have to manually adjust the days and times of my scheduled posts (I typically prefer one post per day). Dashboard could be a bit more user friendly. I would like to get to my posts faster and easier.

Sometimes it freezes and the drafts section of the platform is a bit unreliable. Additionally there is the occasional API error when scheduled posts go live.

Additionally it gives me the option to bulk schedule posts and the flexibility to move posts from one day to another in a drag-and-drop style format which makes scheduling content easier than ever.
