I like that I can easily manage a large number of accounts and post to multiple accounts and platforms simultaneously. The calendar view is very intuitive to me, and the analytics are helpful as well.
There are too many hurdles to posting properly optimized video content. I still post all my reels and tiktoks manually. Instagram publisher forces square images. Disclaimer: I haven't used other management software recently, so these issues may not be unique to SocialPilot.
SocialPilot is helping me post quickly to multiple accounts. I partially manage the social media accounts of an entire team of realtors, and with SocialPilot I can easily share listing updates and other more generalized content.
Easy to schedule and great integrations with Canva
There isn't a way to track notifications or feeds across different social media accounts, and scheduling drafts to be edited later was harder than it should be.
Bulk scheduling (of finished drafts) across multiple platforms
Managing multiple accounts at once, across a few platforms. It's easy to understand.
It's a bit glitchy sometimes, we had to delete a few posts that got messed up (carousel on IG)
It gives us the opportunity to post across 30+ accounts at once when we use to manually do it.
Ease of scheduling and forgetting. It offers many social platforms that one can post to. We found it to be the most cost effective when shopping around for an economical choice.
Accounts disconnect periodically and while you are notified by email, it doesn't always make it to the right person that is running the campaign. Not sure why the disconnect here.
SocialPilot is solving our problem of staying on schedule with our own posts along with the accounts we manage for others. We like the layout of seeing future posts.
This system is pretty easy to figure out and teach my team. I look for fairly robust metrics reporting options and this one makes it easy to get reports for each client sent monthly -- automated delivery on time-sensitive data is always better than having to do it yourself!
You can't specify metrics you want in those reports, which I've seen elsewhere. It's a little clunky to re-share posts to multiple platforms (but creating posts to publish multiple places is very easy).
I need to be able to schedule posts for multiple clients at the same time of day. Very few errors, whereas my last scheduling tool would reject posts almost every week for no good reason.
Easy to use, neat, and allowed me to manage social media posts timely. Great for people with procrastination issues.
When posts fail to post but that doesn't really happen too often.
As I mentioned, it helped keep everything on track, not only for own agency but also for our clients.
Didn't experience much of product, but the interface appeared streamlined.
Didn't experience much of product, had issues originally that were never resolved.
Didn't experience much of product.
It's one of the cheaper options for managing social media. I've used Buffer, Hootsuite, Edgar, and more. The jump in price for those is pretty ridiculous. This has most of the features of those and still manages to keep pricing affordable.
I came from using Buffer and Hootsuite, and the scheduling calendar is a bit more intuitive there. For example, with Buffer you can drag and drop posts into a different day/time and it won't mess up the rest of your schedule. I've tried to do that a few times on Social Pilot and it screwed up my other posts. It's not a deal breaker though.
SocialPilot helps me manage my clients social media in one spot, which helps keep me organized. It's great to be able to see a visual of all the posts I've got coming up and keep track of when I need to fill in content.
I like SocialPilot's overall functionality for the price. It is a good tool for managing multiple social media accounts.
I dislike that I cannot drag and drop posts into the order I want them shared after I have added them to the feed for a social media account.
SocialPilot makes it easy to maintain a regular stream of social media shares to multiple client accounts.
It is being able to post to ALL 15 accounts on every kind of platform at the same time. They include Google My Business as a platform and we have 5 branches so it made it really easy to post.
Limitation of Canva; if you create a post inside Social Pilot and don't want to use Canva, you have to make the artwork someplace else and then upload it. Limitation of video - doesn't load video over a certain size Limitation - you can't see your post as you are creating it the way you can in other social media platform management tools
We no longer use SocialPilot. On the next question = there is no option for 'none of the above' so remember it's WHEN I was using Social Pilot I used it for... You don't get analytics without paying more for them
Ease of connecting accounts for Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter.
Lack of features that other software has such as Instagram image editors.
Being able to see all stats at a glance and present them to clients in an easy-to-read format.
Our organization was looking for a tool that would allow us to have a system of checks and balances with producing social media content across multiple departments. We needed to be able to have an easy to operate platform that flowed content creation to final approval and publishing, outside of the social apps themselves. SocialPilot is that middle man for us that we needed, and it streamlines our efficiency while helping eliminate room for error when multiple voices could collide on social. It's also user friendly for folks that aren't digital natives - especially helpful for us, when our content creators are largely focused on clinical work, while we as marketers are more in tune with branding and voice.
At first, I disliked the number of emails we were receiving from SocialPilot about using the tool; we purchased our subscription prematurely to implementing it with clinical units, so it was a bit annoying to constantly be badgered by notifications. But I can't really think of anything within the tool itself that stands out as strikingly poor - it does everything we need it to, without being overwhelming. Some might say it doesn't have enough functionality as some other paid options, but for us it was perfect as to not scare away some of our less digital-marketing-adept users.
We solved the problem of needing a restricted approval process from someone creating social media content, to those needing to review for quality and brand standards. This has allowed our creators to simply and easily upload their proposed content, while making it quite simple to check and push forward.
The best feature is the reason why we chose SocialPilot in the first place and that is the approval feature. The contributor can schedule the post for any date and time of his choice and it doesn't get published until it is approved by the manager.
For us the worst feature is that the image is not displayed properly on LinkedIn and as we include the link of our website at the end of our post so it shows the H1 of our website on Linkedin as a description. Another thing that we dislike is that while we have purchased the premium version of SocialPilot but only our CEO has access to insights while me and other managers and contributors need to take a trial to get access to insights which doesn't make any sense.
We are using SocialPilot to market our business socially.
The interface is intuitive and the bugs seem to be getting worked out pretty well. I like the addition of analytics but would like to see a bit more insight into who the most active followers are and what kind of content they are engaging with.
The mobile app still seems a bit buggy. It's not always super responsive and its a bit difficult to make corrections to posts after they are created. Additionally, the app still seems a bit slow to respond leaves me unsure if posts went through or were scheduled correctly.
Being able to promote content multiple times for weeks to come, across multiple channels. Time savings.
It's so easy to post to both Facebook and Instagram simueltaneously, whilst also being able to customise each post to suit the platform.
I've found the reporting to be quite limited. I'd also like to be able to set my timezone, so I'm not always having to convert from PST.
The easy cross-post function has saved me heaps of time.
I like that it allows you to connect to many social platforms without additional costs.
It is not super intuitive to use. And it seems when using it to schedule posts for Instagram, we always get a message that the post generated an error.
Being able to schedule posts across different all in one place.
I like the ability to create teams, build groups, add the initial comments on Instagram and reply to comments through the platform.
I would like to be able to do searches within the tool for Instagram like other platforms. Also, better reporting and the ability to build reports based on groups. It would be nice to be able to select if you want to schedule all platforms to post at the same time, you could, but if you wanted to set different times and could see the best times to post when scheduling posts, that would be great. If it had these three things, I would give it a 10 out of 10. Update 2022: The UX changes have caused the page to go buggy. We will input text for a post and when going to the button to select a day and time to schedule, we may lose the text we inputted by the screen going blank. Additionally, we have received error messages where posts did not make it to the feed or an error message even if the content posted. We're still using it for now, but I hope the latest updates will have the kinks worked out sooner than later. Additionally, the lack of ability for multiple team members to update a post before it goes and without scheduling it to wait approval is lack luster for team collaboration. We found that our content writer can't upload text without uploading a graphic. Our graphic designer has to then remove the image and upload the one they created.
The team is able to create drafts and schedule along with updating scheduled posts. Being able to group posts by clients is very helpful.
I like that i can use p interest while using Facebook pages and groups. Both of these social medias do not always go with the other companies.
I HATE that you can only post so many things daily. I dont that th limit is fair. Its expensive this should not be capped.
Posting to multiple social medias.
The calendar and saves a bit of time posting to multiple sites.
Can only upload one image to a post... Posting to LinkedIn is not currently working...
Not really solving any problems but we are saving some time
I do enjoy that you can post to all social media using Social Pilot
I dislike that I can't tag people on Instagram and Facebook using Social Pilot. i also dislike that you can't post to more than one twitter account at a time
