It’s pretty easy to implement for small businesses.
All of the different apps. They don’t automatically sync.
Personal site space and easy to maneuver for customers.
I used Squarespace to create a landing page for my start up. Squarespace reduces the costs of creating an online presence for a new business, since there is no need to pay for custom backend development. The biggest pro of Squarespace is that the end results are beautiful, thanks to the templates and built-in library of images and logos. It is well within the reach of someone with no graphic or web design background to create a professional-looking site. Very impressed overall.
The use of a template does naturally reduce the customisability of the site. For some purposes, it will be necessary to hire a developer to create add-ons.
Squarespace is very cost-effective, since you can create a professional-looking website without hiring a professional. The template approach means that there is no need to pay a developer, which has reduced the early costs of starting a business.
squarespace makes it simple to create clean, minimalistic yet powerful websites for a variety of purposes.
Sometimes the customization features can be limiting.
There is a learning curve for building websites that may take some a bit of time. The benefits are how much easier it is to use than Wordpress, which i was on originally.
Squarespace is so easy to use! As a designer, putting together visually driven websites was a breeze. I've put together 4 different websites on squarespace, for very different businesses and with different content with ease.
Sometimes the templates can get repetitive, and coding for special features can be a little complex for the average user.
Easy, beautiful, engaging websites without having to hire a web designer. Score!
It is easy to create webpages, edit sections, customize, and integrate
We are beginning to outgrow Squarespace's ability to hold the amount of web presence we have.
Website platform and hosting. Ease of use for people with little to no web development skills is great for a low capacity team.
I like the UX/UI very easy to use as a beginner and in the end, created exactly what I was looking for
The formatting is a little difficult to get a handle on - ex. placing pictures side by side and making them all equal sizes.
Engagement with our community and brand promotion.
I mainly use it as my portfolio so it is pretty great for that.
I moved my blog because they just do not have the number of user friendly options that Wordpress self-hosted has.
They really need a way for us to access the backend
It’s very easy to set up a website and add content. There are so many layouts to choose from. I love how easy they made it and I love how my website looks.
Trying to figure out the SEO. I wish they had more information on how to use SEO to get more visitors to the website. I’ve never used it before and I still don’t fully understand how to implement it.
No problems other than trying to figure out how to use the SEO pieces. The benefit is that it’s affordable and potential clients can contact me through it.
Easy to use. All the themes are beautiful.
Much more expensive than competitors. I think charging you to use the platform and then taking a percentage of each sale is disgusting. Wish that it integrated with more third party apps like Wordpress and Shopify do.
Squarespace takes all the design work out of building a website for my business and easily accepts payments.
It is great how everything is integrated into Squarespace and you can set up a ton of items right through the SquareSpace dashboard like a business email. There are also a large amount of integrations which are are super simple to add to your site.
I dislike the flexibility WordPress has and Squarespace does not. With Wordpress, you can do a lot of with the design of the site right through a visual builder like Divi, Squarespace is somewhat restricting with elements in the visual builder.
Squarespace allows for an easier solution over WordPress. It is a quicker setup without having to install lots of plugins like I would need to if I want the same features on a WordPress site.
