Large list of connectors and service uptime.
Change in pricing plans and connector distribution in plans.
Making reports in Google Data Studio, with multiple connectors outside Google's provided.
The pre-made templates, quick integration, and community forums.
The pay model could be more clear. When purchasing my "inputs" I didn't grasp that one platform would take up multiple and if more accounts would count towards those.
Automating our reporting. We have specific KPI's for each platform and this allowed us to have a very specific automated report for each platform.
Cloud data platform connectors are now available like S3 on amazon
No timezone support in North America at the moment
The biggest use case for us is to be able to report on marketing spend
It is very simple and easy to use - it is very fast to load
The shopify connector is really really weak, same w/ the klaviyo - revenue on Shopify does not line up.
Sharing relevant content w/ clients regularly.
While perhaps not the most robust fields extractor, Supermetrics is always innovating on adding new connections and rarely if ever has any downtime. You need reliable data and that's exactly what Supermetrics provides.
The pricing options can be quite confusing and Supermetrics has seemed to stray from an all in one price that they had previously. As a power user, I'd much rather pay in bulk for a significant number of connectors across Google Sheets and Data Studio than individually.
Data extracture. Getting information out of platforms and into an analyzable state feels like half of a digital marketer's job these days. Supermetrics makes that easy.
It gathers all needed data to one place from all platforms
It is missing some key platforms which we'd use (e.g. organic TikTok)
Creating reports much faster
Its connection to multiple platforms with automated reports allows for the creation of holistic reports
there is a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to knowledge of building queries and google sheets
Data aggregation of multiple site and digital marketing data
Being able to connect all our data sources in one spreadsheet.
Sometimes the refresh function doesn't work properly, which can get frustrating.
We automated most of our reporting with Supermetric connections of the data sources we rely on such as Facebook Ads, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and Big Query.
Pulling in data sources from many different platforms into one consolidated report is excellent for our visuals. There are a ton of options for us to integrate with. The data is presented in a nice and clean way. Support is pretty quick to respond with issues.
I've come across quite a few glitches. Not sure if they're all directly related to Supermetrics or combined with Looker Studio, but I've had to reach out to support a lot.
The manual work it takes to pull data from many different platforms. Supermetrics allows this to be easier and more cohesive in one report with little manual work after the report is set up.
Supermetrics helped connect Shopify, Facebook Ads, and Google ads into one Looker Studio report. I have also been able to rescue the connector for more granular information. Their support was also great to help troubleshoot and use some of their existing templates.
The pricing and connectors are a little confusing at first. I liked that I was able to add on to my account once I realized what I needed or didn't need.
All of our data is in different sources. Brining it into one was very helpful to better understand the full picture.
All about Paid or ads Connectors it's easy to use.
Insights or Organic Connectors, They have a problem with the connections, for example you can't link an instagram alone, but it has to be linked to a facebook page otherwise you can't. They need more graphics or more templates and more complete to be able to use them more easily.
And another problem, but now in Facebook Insights, also having access we cannot visualize certain Facebook accounts in Supermetrics and looker studio, something like Instagram, but I don't find logic.
I love the ease of being able to pull in queries.
We needed to get data from Criteo, but the only way this was possible was by changing our entire plan. We wish there was an al a carte option to get data from one-off platforms.
Supermetrics is helping pull in data from our paid platforms so we can view all analytics side by side each other.
Supermetrics enables me to show my campaign results when Data Studio is not developed enough: when having different DSP sources or some metrics, Data Studio doesn't have the option to show. Furthermore, supermetrics allows you to use dimensions and metrics in one field. Very useful for specific situations!
I've experienced some technical issues with supermetrics. There are some days when I get the message that data can't be shown because too many reports have been made from my account. This issue is resolved the next day, but it's something it shouldn't happen.
Supermetrics enables me to use different DSP sources in one table or graphic. That for it's advantageous in my day-to-day. I can have campaigns in Google Ads and DV360 and be able to show the overall results in one table.
It has an user-friendly UI, and it's easy to use to get the platform data
The current product is not able to cover all the dimensions/meterics compared with the platform data. Meta API is easy to fail.
Supermetrics helps me to build auto report data pipeline and monitor campaign pacing
Data integration across non-google platforms
Difficult to manage licensing and team allocation
Able to give clients live dashboards with complete data from all ad platforms
Easily updates reporting on a daily basis. It's very user-friendly and helps to automate the data collection. Competitors come in at a much higher price tag, so it can't be beat from a cost perspective.
There tends to still be issues with the program. Often times queries will fail or won't pull the entire date range. Time lag is an issue as well, sometimes it can take a long time for a report to run.
Data analytics and visualization is made possible with the use of Supermetrics. Prior to using it, we were pulling reports manually which took a ton of unnecessary time.
I like the idea of the automation abilities and what we should be able to do.
Often times our queries don't refresh correctly.
Allowing us to have more automation than previously.
Through the switch from Universal Analytics to GA4, I lost a lot of data points and overall a lot of efficiency in some analysis. Supermetrics allows me to mitigate that.
We are present across multiple platforms and it can be costly and hard to understand which plans do we need to cover every single one of our platforms.
We are using Supermetrics for Data Studio and it allows me to combine multiple platforms into one view that is easier to read than within GA4 or any 3rd party app.
There are lots of options to connect to multiple data sources.
The price is quite high and it's very restrictive in the number of users. Also, I've had some difficulty verifying accounts when trying to connect to different data sources.
Bringing together data from multiple sources and providing a way to display everything in different dashboards, or combine them as needed.
The APIs work and can be integrated with the dashboards that we are using.
It's a bit hard to set-up from the beginning - need to fumble around in order to get it working.
Trying to solve connector problems between data set and visualization.
