I like being able to hear my voice mail from anywhere anytime as long as I am able to check my email. I like not having to have a dedicated physical line.
It would be great if it was free lol! Seriously, it is a great service. I have had it for years without regret or desire to change.
I can get voice mails real time via email with a link to hear the audio. I don't need to put my personal cell as the main number, so no unexpected callls.
After searching and trying several 800 services for my organization, I chose 800.com for all the right reasons. Reasonable rates, plans, flexibility, and I get my voicemails emailed right to me for backup and easy reference! I live this service and recommend them to whoever is looking for an 800 number for their company.

I've not had any problems. I am a small company that doesn't get very many inbound 800 calls, but I HAVE to have an 800 number. 800.com is perfect for me because it has a very low monthly fee and I can just pay "per use".
The website and set up was very User-friendly
The $5 minimum. it used to be pay as you go and now you need at least $5.

An 800 number is recognizable and makes your business appear official to potential clients. The app makes it easy to separate your work phone line and personal phone line without needing two devices!
I was very confused when I was picking out my number because there were options shown with extra numbers. I now understand that you just ignore the last few numbers that don't fit in the traditional 10-digit format, but I was confused at first & I felt that my potential clients might also be confused by this.
As I said above: "The app makes it easy to separate your work phone line and personal phone line without needing two devices!" I am able to confidently put my number on my business card.
What I like most about 800.com is the web UI. I find myself using 800.com to make calls from my computer throughout the day just because it's so easy.
I'd like to see better history of calls made. As is, I have to enter (paste) in the phone number I want to call every time. A redial function would be good to start.
Providing simple access to support for our customers. Smart call forwarding has been very useful. Taking and making calls from a computer has been an unexpected benefit.
Customer support is very good. When you have a problem they stay with you and help you along the way.

The market is saturated with services that are similar so it was difficult to find a trustworthy firm, like 800.com for our business needs. 800.com could market a little bit better so as to let their prospects know they are legit and helpful.
