I use Act Premium Support - I recently bought a new computer and needed assistance n transfering data and setting up sync. The tech took over and not only set up new computer but also updated Main computer and new to 20.0 Great job and no frustration on my end.
I don't have enough time to use and explore all the advantages of using Act.
Contacting multiple people at once. Emails Etc. Customer trace-ability.
Endless customization options allow us to keep what we want and do away with what we do not. There is also a lot of support online for troubleshooting and/ or tutorials.
Editing multiple records at the same time can be done but it is a bit tricky.
Keeping customer records and notes straight. Entering order notes.
Search the entire database for any word in my entire database, very useful indeed
"Notes" and "History" are on two separate tabs. , Very inconvenient for me. In older versions, they were together, much better
Keep track of all my conversations with the parents of my school and my vendors
The software is so each to manage - we are able to use a shared database and our in office and mobile users are able to have instant communication.
We truly like the product - and use their knowledge base system frequently. Would like to be able to have access to pull back an email campaign within minutes after it is sent.
It is used for both our CRM and Email Marketing. It gives us instant details and keeps our team of users in the know on each customer. We get a great return on our email campaigns too.
I have one relatively easy to use repository for customer information. The reporting searches are relatively easy, as well.
It is difficult to change the layout if I want to add more fields to my main layout.
Ability to keep track or various customers. The benefits amount to knowing when they are up for annual reviews, or when they hit a milestone and must be contacted to insure IRS compliance.
I can score leads and schedule a marketing plan based on that score. The automatic alerts tell me what to do when. All the contact info is safely stored and easily searchable. I also appreciate being able to view the entire history of interactions with each contact.
I get a weird error message every time I start up the program and a different one when I exit it.
Lead gen, lead nurturing. I couldn't really do business the way I do without this tool. I would recommend it to anyone who runs regular lead gen and marketing campaigns.
Setting up TASK for re-call customer reminders according to priority and timing for industries who have date-specific sales planning (according to customers' needs)
When using TASK, once a record is handled, it takes you back up to the top of the list instead of picking up where you left off....... Synchronization only happens up to the web for one user. It would be helpful (especially when one individual is using two computers that it synchonizes up to the web and back down to the remote PC's used by the individual.
It is far and away better than other CRM software that I've used over the years. The export function enables and easy print out of a field guide by company name and geography for quick reference.
I like the search engine that can be used by simply searching with a phone number. This gives me the flexibility of looking someone up FAST!
I dislike the interface that is very outdated and feels like DOS. Needs to be brought ot the 21st century
Keeping track of all customer orders and stages of them. With the reminders popping directly in front of me this makes me do it right then. Being able to email right from a list of pre written emails really saves time.
No complications no downtime. For a small company the price is right
Outlook Integration, I thought the 64 bit would do it
CRM anywhere I go
Contact, calendar and task list are integrated and seamless. I've used Salesforce, and ACT is just as useful to me. The extra features in Salesforce only benefited management.
Multiple contacts at the same company could be better integrated.
Sales prospecting and customer follow up. Nobody slips through the cracks. I always know when to contact somebody, and I always know what our past discussions have been.
