I find Photoshop Elements to be quite intuitive for the basic features, while there are many features to be learned that make it extremely versatile for digital graphic and photo editing, scrapbooking, card making, and the like.
It does seem to run slowly, though that could be partly my computer.
I can edit graphics and photos without destroying the originals, and having layers in my projects ensures easy changing of elements, colours, styles, etc. This means that one design can serve many end products.
I am a photo editor and I have been using photoshop for more than 2 years. Everyone knows Adobe photoshop, so it helps me be able to collaborate with other editors, and it is the most popular tool for image editing. I find it extremely customizable, and any edit I want to do I am able to do.
Photoshop can be hard to learn at first, maybe even a bit intimidating. However, after learning how to use Photoshop, you can never really look back on other editing software.
Whenever I have a specific request for an image edit, Photoshop's numerous tools are always able to fulfill the request. I can do edits efficiently as well, as there are always many free tutorials online.
is one of the best applications I use on a daily bases
nothing to dislike honestly as i mentioned the process was smoth
is best use for for my photo management and editing
Photo shop is the best photo editing tool available. You can adjust and manipulate your photos.
The pricing structure. I also don't think that photoshop is as intuitive as many other photo editors.
Photo manipulation and graphics creator.
Using graphics to create something appealing and coherent is very easy, yet advanced. Photoshop Elements is straightforward to both learn and use.
I can't say there are any downsides to Photoshop Elements.
Creating and generating artwork for the company, its branches, and public charter schools we represent.
User friendly, fast edits ang good for beginners
Time - consuming and lack plugins as compared to photoshop
Quick edits on quote graphics. Easy to create messages on the photo
I like that the program is easier for designers that aren't as high level as others who use Photoshop but still need a good platform for designing.
I generally like the whole program but it does have its limitations in comparison to Photoshop.
I use it for creating assets to use for Marketing efforts.
Most of the best features that you need in photo and graphic editing at a fraction of the price of the real thing.
It can be a little limited if you want to do more advanced graphic workflows so it may not be right for everyone.
We were able to do all of the graphic editing that we need to do for most use cases cheaply and easily. It makes it easy to provide software for our team at reasonable rates.
I really like the editing elements this app includes. There are a lot of features that are very easy to use.
I dislike that the photoshop app sometimes closes in the middle of an open project.
I am using the app the edit pictures for instagram, thumbnails for youtube. I enjoy using it to change the lighting, add grain, make the colors smoother.
It's a very easy to learn program for photo editing and creation. It makes it very easy to educate a novice team with this software designed for beginners.
It has limited color modes that you can save a file in, meaning that it is not optimized for printing files. It cannot save files in CMYK color mode or RGB color mode.
Photoshop Elements can make a whole design team work quickly and efficiently when editing images. The automated options available save a lot of time, and it lets you choose between different modes depending on your experience level.
Truthfully - my background is working in sales, and have never needed to use Photoshop - however, in my personal time I dabble with extracurricular activities and have decided on using it for personal needs - best wise I think the variety of different elements that's offers is very grandious.
I think that its a bit complicated to use and wish it was more simplistic - also if it came with better support networks to ask because being that I had to learn on my own.
The benefits that I've realized is, again, after learning how - there is typically always an element to do whatever I need done - again just have to learn where and how.
Long time user of photoshop for PC, and this program is fantastic. Easy to organize, edit and share photos within one platform.
For a beginner, it can be overwhelming. Once you know what you are doing and play around with the available tools, you really can take your photos to the next level.
Final product is better using Photoshop Elements than other photo editing apps or software. Cleaner lines, better images.
I like how user-friendly it is. It is easy to use as a beginner vs full on photoshop. And the fact that a monthly/yearly subscription is not required is a big plus for me!
Overall it answers all of my editing needs. However, the interface could use some updating since it hasn't changed much in years and. Also adobe keep coming out with a new version every year, but make sure to look at the updated features because most likely, you don't need to purchase the upgrade.
I use this software to edit scientific images as well as some personal images taken with my phone. I found how fast and easy it is and the learning curve is fast!
It is visual magic. It is an easy way to edit, organize and create good photos.
It is enormous, maybe 2.45GB. It does not install on any mobile without a PC and laptop.
I am also a graphic designer. I solve many problems of photos, art, and logo design. I all-time realize that makes my activities very easy and comfortable.
I absolutely love photoshop. There are countless things you are able to do. I appreciate all the features it has and the layout of everything. I've never found another software I like more.
I really don't have much of any complaints about it. I feel like maybe it could be a little more organized with the tools and such but overall I absolutely love it
The ease of use with this software has made me been able to quickly utilize and disperse what I have been trying to create. It makes it so easy and has encouraged me to keep making more art
sharebly envoirement. simple and effective toolart
complexity of information architecure for navigation bar
image manipulating, animating, drawing, image clearing, typography
It is very easy to use, and offers tutorials whenever I need to incorporate a new item or effect
There are other far more involved effects programs, but this is sufficient for what I need with my job.
We are pushing more social media and printed advertising than before. the ease of learning the program allows our volunteers to help too.
Amazing software for anything you need done
Sometimes it's laggy and clashes with other apps
Design industry, collages, photo retouching
I like that it is on my iPhone but the old version was too and had all the features. Why does this one suck so bad? It is almost useless. I really want the old app back.
Why does this one suck so bad? It is almost useless. I really want the old app back. I can't do simple tasks that I could do with the old app. It's frustrating.
None I literally search for websites that will do simple things to images because I can't really do anything with this app at all. I deleted the app eventually.
It's easy to use and create exciting designs
Here you can reduce the pricing and add some plugin
I am an event organizer, and i use this software for community events
