Unclaimed: Are are working at BlueJeans Virtual Events ?
BlueJeans is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that was built to facilitate communication and empower users to collaborate seamlessly on a digital workspace. The app was recently acquired by Verizon, which led to the software offering more advanced features and tools including webinar and virtual event applications in addition to its virtual meeting app. It’s also a pioneering platform that connects desktops, mobile devices, and room systems into one video meeting

sharing and connecting is SUPER easy -- i've never had problems and none of the attendees have either!
the technical support - no one seems to understand what is included in our contract, so we get one answer and then a second after that once someone looks at what should be included with our contract.
We've used it BJE for our webinar series- it works really well. I just wish that the presenters had more functionality and could not just use 1 single screen.
What's most helpful about this product is that Blue Jeans is very compatible working with multiple teams of people. The break out rooms are a highly sought-out function that many platforms don't have even Google Meet. I really think that the security features as well as your login in very easy and I don't feel like it was difficult.
What I don't like about Blue Jeans is that it doesn't lend itself to be helpful in set-up when it comes to entering the platform. Moderation is a learning curve, but once you get in to the controls of the system - you will be working the platform with ease. I just think that some functionality needed to be tweaked more.
Problems that we solve is a way to connect with each other without fear of hacking, since we work in a large school district with many urban kids. We used Zoom , but the security features weren't as strong.
I really like the moderator platform along with chat, the ability to drive multiple presenters from one handler and the ability to have separate moderator and attendee chats simultaneously.
Newbie note! Don't run the slides if you are presenting - you won't be able to view yourself or others presenting and it really changes the dynamic when you can't "see" the meeting.
Holding large meetings, and holding meetings in which you don't want to take live questions for whatever the reason may be.
Excellent sound quality. The meetings are very easy to schedule.
I dislike the reluctance of some companies to use it, although it is more secure that other applications of similar type.
Meeting and calls/ Presentations
Connections with Slack and Gmail make it easy to schedule meetings or set one up spontaneously. You can screen share a specific app to avoid awkward meetings showing that Youtube video you were watching :)
Usually, opening a Bluejeans meeting is seamless. However I have noticed that it requires you to log in (for myself multiple times) after an update.
Bluejeans events allow for more of a presentation style feel than regular meetings where everybody can be on camera. The Q&A section giving users the ability to upvote questions is a nice touch.
The video quality is outstanding, as is the audio quality.
If your bandwidth is limited, you can have major issues.
My company uses it for all kinds of meetings and presentations.
BlueJeans is an easy and stable application software. Screen sharing is valued feature.
Would like for Blue Jeans to allow the sharing of pdf's or documents within the Chat mode.
BlueJeans has served as a stable platform to organize virtual meetings during this pandemic.
resizable presentation, control over video, real time chat
Have not got anything to dislike, as an events consumer
Firm-wide interactive events with multiple presenters and 1000+ attendees
The Google Calendar link and all the features available.
The backgrounds could be improved. Other than that, is fine!
I can easily work remotely without any stresses.
Easy to use - High quality. We host weekly meetings with about 200 people, and then quarterly with 700-800.
I'd like 1 button login if I already have a Bluejeans account
Regular Bluejeans was too cumbersome for large events, and limited on attendees. We have larger meetings and needed something else
