I love that is has so many social media outlets available to schedule. Having Instagram and LinkedIn is great for us and is ultimately what led us to switch to Buffer.
I wish we were able to schedule Instagram posts online and not just in the app but other than that I have been happy.
Being able to post across all of our platforms has been amazing.
I love how easy it is to create nice-looking social media posts! The integrations are seamless and the platform as a whole is very easy to review.
I use the free version, so I can't use the full functionality which is hard, but I'm sure they are also great.
It makes it so easy to pre-schedule social media posts in bulk so that you don't have to worry about posting throughout the week.
I have tried other scheduling software, and Buffer is the most user friendly.
I wish there was a way to schedule Instagram. While I know it's not optimal to schedule ALL Instagram posts, it would be great to be able to schedule some of them. Especially ones designed purely for promotions.
Marketing, curating content, social media, saving time.
It's very automated and simple to use. It even reminds me to post when it slips my mind, which is a huge help with a busy schedule.
There isn't anything about the platform that I do not like.
Buffer makes maintaining a presence on multiple social media platforms very easy to do.
The free version allows you to connect with many accounts, more then other companies. It doesn't feel like there is a catch, but rather that the service at a smaller scale is free and if you needed extended service, it will cost money. Other services make me feel like you are on "trial" or waiting for the other shoe to drop.... Not buffer.
Once you have a tweet set up, you cant add it to your other social media channels like you could when first making it (where you can click the social media icons you want to include).
I have been trying to build a social media presence at the small company I work at but I was going on vacation for a whole week and didn't want to leave it to a coworker to do.
I can schedule out everything in one week, 7x a day. It's amazing! I also follow the Buffer team on Twitter and it's so fun to get to know their team @buffer.
I wish the business trial wasn't $99.00 otherwise I'd totally use it! I wish we could post to Instagram ahead of time, but that's the nature of Instagram, right?
I save time by scheduling out my social media. I way have way more time and data analytics were beneficial.
Buffer is awesome. Easy to use, reasonably priced (with a great free model) and is a must-have for Twitter users. My favorite feature is the Retweet scheduling tool which helps reduce the time I spend managing social but still gives me a steady queue of content going up on our accounts. The team/collaboration features are also great.
A way to recycle content I've scheduled or posted once already would be a huge time saver! Otherwise, no major complaints or requests.
Buffer saves time and helps me connect with my followers in a way that still feels authentic, not robotic. I'd recommend to any blogger, social media manager, or marketing team.
I love the ease of use that Buffer provides as well as the user friendly interface on all platforms.
The amount of accounts you can use with the same social media
Im a social media marketer so using buffer makes my job and life a lot easier.
Buffer supports all of the social media platforms that my organization uses and offers a TON of scheduling options which saves us hours and hours of time and helps us be more thoughtful about our social media marketing efforts. Since we started using it more than 2 years ago, it's become indispensable for our marketing team.
I wish there were more tracking options and that we had more control over what the final posts look like once they get published, but these are both very minor complaints.
We needed a way to schedule our social media posts rather than manually post them throughout the day. Buffer gives us that ability and saves us tons of time in doing so. It helps us be infinitely more efficient than we were before using it and I estimate we save hours of time a week by using Buffer instead of manually posting.
So easy, quick and intuitive to plan and schedule tweets. The analysis lets me know what works and do it more - perfect. And the customer service is second to none.
I'd like to see a recycle option to automatically schedule evergreen tweets.
Traffic generation
It is a very user-friendly platform that allows cross posting and re-posting of content
There isn't much I have found wrong with this platform. The one suggestion I would make is to add an information hub where blogs and post-able information could be found.
This platform has saved me many hours of time and calendar space by having it all in one place for the major social media platforms
Buffer is easy to use and has reporting that allows you to see which posts had better reach and interaction. Buffer also allows you to schedule for the best time for your followers which takes out the guesswork of scheduling posts!
They only allow 3 platforms under the free account. While it's not that expensive to have a paid account, it might have better reach with more platforms available.
I schedule posts for myself and for some clients on this platform. We prefer Buffer over other platforms for its ease of use and the power scheduling features.
I like the scheduled posts and ease of use
I don't like that Buffer took away library
Helps give me a presence.
Customer service is very engaging and responsive. They've helped me with any small problem, their emails and blog on social media marketing are actually insightful, and when they made a UI change that a lot of customers didn't like, they apologized and changed it back. Buffer paid plans are reasonably priced. I really appreciate how quickly Buffer adds abilities to keep up with ever-changing social media platforms. (Adding gifs, retweeting yourself, etc.)
The preview of what your content will look like when posted is poor, so unless you have experience posting from Buffer, you may schedule a post, think you know what it will look like, but once it's posted to the social media platform, realize it's not what you expected.
Buffer allowed my office to think even more long-term in our social media strategy and stay consistent across platforms.
This is an incredible tool for managing social media accounts for your business. We utilize Buffer to schedule posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter and use the Pablo image tool to easily create additional custom images.
Unlike Hootsuite, you can't create streams of content of easily view keyword searches from Twitter. Buffer truly is a scheduling tool.
Buffer makes it easy to schedule social media posts for clients, create custom images, and recycle old posts that performed well. The analytics tool within Buffer is easy to glance at.
LOVE Buffer. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has to manage multiple social accounts. I've got all my posts scheduled up to two weeks out so I never miss a beat. I love being able to see my analytics all on one page and really learn how to tweak my social strategy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the library feature and they're getting rid of it. So that's a bummer. You can post across multiple platforms but facebook requires it's own input - I just copy and paste it into the FB box, but it's a bit annoying.
Social media management solution. Who needs an intern?!
I love the way it looks. Maybe that's not everyone's most important feature but to me, I can't hate the look of something I log into every day, multiple times a day. It's a high-functioning service that makes a sometimes tedious task really easy to accomplish without a ton of thought on days when you can't expend the energy on Twitter
The piece i feel is missing is the ability to save Tweets or Posts or what have you in draft form. I have a headline swipe file for blog posts, and even the Facebook and Twitter clients have native draft functions to keep ideas to return to later. I think it would really add to the experience I have on Buffer and keep me there for all my social scheduling needs.
Everyone knows that the burden of social media is a large, often misunderstood task. But the largest burden is coming up with enough content all the time. I think Buffer's features make that job easier, and I think the tenor of their communications make me feel like an important customer. Their analytics and the schedule optimizing are two great features to produce ROI numbers for review, and their mobile app helps find content like an RSS reader would.
The ease of jumping between platforms and seeing real time results on interactions.
The app could improve it its features to allow for better scheduling, tracking and posting.
Scheduling social media for a wide variety of departments and events, and keeping it succinct and easy to track.
I like how easy it is to integrate buffer into your workflow with the browser button, and that it uses my normal Twitter login. No downloading software or creating a new login credential.
I dislike how limited the free version is. It seems extreme.
It allows me to write and schedule tweets in advance, instead of writing them and sending them real-time. I can also recycle successful tweets.
Easy to use, clean interface, great customer support, useful analytics for optimizing post timing.
Wish the free version was a little more robust: more posts allowed to be queued, and more networks available.
Buffer makes it simple to post to multiple business pages from one dashboard, saving time spent having to log in and out. Managing multiple team members contributions is also easy.
