Using Canva, I've been able to create professional documents for various uses within our company, including staff training tools, marketing materials, and documenting procedures.
I wish templates were more organized, so that Pro templates are in their own section rather than mixed in.
We're able to create documents that are more interesting/aesthetically pleasing. When documents are more appealing, people read/refer to them more.
Canva is easy to use and creates professional looking graphics.
The constant ask to upgrade to the next level of product.
The need to represent ideas graphically to show up on social media.
Super easy to use. Access to thousands of stock images and videos. Very convenient to switch between the app and browser versions. I use Canva almost every day now. They are always adding new features and capabilities.
I find the video time editing can be a bit too sensitive on the mobile app. There could be more features for video editing and sounds.
Quick & easy to use app to generate ads and social media content. So many templates to choose from. This is great so you do not have to spend hours generating content. It is also great that I have access to so many stock image sources on my Pro account.
I happen to know a thing or two about using Photoshop, because my job sometimes require it, but i never got the hang of it. When Canva was introduced to me, i was like : "Did i really spend that much time learning photoshop when I could have used this?". Canva provides everything you need from templates, to logos, to even an AI writing assistant! The results aren't bad either! I recommend this to everyone that needs less than expert-level editing results.. no-brainer.
You need an active internet connection to utilize it. It's a given since it's cloud based and it's not something to be "disliked" really. It's a just a limitation.
Canva makes something as complex as photo editing and design easy even for non-creatives.
exclusive brand resources, template creations, easy graphics
the lack of zoom while using the design tool, not being able to use an eyedropper to select specific colors.
Design for non designers, social media quick desining with branded templates
Canva has amazing tools that nonprofits can benefit from such as making posters, flyers, presentations and more! The solution is very easy to use and setup!
One factor that can be improved with Canva is the feature of only 50 users for nonprofits. It doesn't affect us as a nonprofit at the moment but in the future it may.
Canva helps us with creating our flyers and certificates we make as a nonprofit organisation
You can use any layouts for any graphic design you'd like for free. Easy editing of videos and photos.
Limited stack photos and you have to pay to upgrade your account to access more photos
It solves the problem of creating eye-catching graphics without needing a degree in graphic design.
Canva is very user friendly when it comes to design. There are TONS of designs you can choose from and you have the ability to customize brand colors, images, icons, text. Very easy to use if you are a beginner designer or social media manager but also super useful if you are an experienced marketer.
Sometimes, if you do not save and rename files how you want, your workspace can feel cluttered -- expeically if you share the space with a team. I wish there was an easier way to visually keep saved files vs working files.
It's very easy to share designs with a team. For example, creating branded templates for multiple uses and occasiona updates. The team feature makes it easy to know what the most up to date designs we are working from. Before we would have to send file versions back and forth via email or internal chat -- the latest version of a file sometimes got lost within conversation.
I really love how simple to use this online graphic design platform. Its simple interface and wide range of features make it an ideal platform for creating visuals for online and offline use. I always use this application in designing logos for businesses and editing video vlogs. I really had fun experience in navigating it.
I don't have any negative comment on this online graphic design platform.
It has free features and templates that can be used. I can do designes online and offline, and can be save your project easily.
It provides a single platform for all design requirements. You may design, produce, and work on a variety of projects and assignments, from having a straightforward poster to a presentation, brochure, etc. Canva also provides many themes and model templates that greatly simplify the creative process.
The one thing I don't like about Canva seems to be that occasionally the design isn't saved exactly as it was. This can prevent the present design from ever being reviewed or revised. But, this issue is sporadic and won't last forever.
Creating invitations, video prompts, Instagram posts, and various other content can be easily accomplished with the help of Canva. What sets Canva apart is its ability to provide all these features within a single application.
