We were able to create surveys that capture personalized data and integrate the data with our CRM. It allowed us to create surveys that I did not think would be possible without completely hardcoding everything.

I like the drag and drop builder, which made it easy over the years to throw a quick form together. But my actual favorite part is the ability to control display with detailed VIEWS of the data.

The design of front end elements is pretty putrid. It's functional, but very dated. Fortunately, it's easily modified with CSS.

I've created everything from simple contact forms to full-blown applications. I install it on every WP site I build.

Formidable Forms makes it extremely easy to create forms for WordPress sites, but most importantly it offers many PHP hooks and other ways of customizing forms that you don't find on other form creation plugins. This makes it easy to run custom actions upon form submissions, to send customized e-mails on form submissions, perform custom calculations, and much more.

The accessibility of the plugin to those using screen reading applications is commendable but could be improved, especially in the form editing interface. For example, sighted users can drag and drop form fields around the screen, but there is as of yet no easy way for visually impaired users to move fields around using screen reading applications.

Can't think of anything. It's worth every penny and I use formidable on every single website I build and that number is well over 100 now.

Custom logins, mailchimp integrations, views, calculations, custom styles, the list goes on. I use formidable to build solutions I'd either need to sub out or use other plugins for. It's just gooood!!!!

I like that there is more than enough options, add-ons, extensions to this web form design and management tool. But it's more than that. You can build entire web apps with it. For example, I love short codes. It basically allows me to run sql commands without sql knowledge. It's a abstracted construct above actual contact with undder the hood parts. They do a good job of simplifying the UI for non FT programmers like me.

Deeper you get, the more technical it gets. So you kinda have to be prepared to learn a few tricks or two. I'd like to see more abstracted UI elements within the plugin interface itself for data integration design between entries and views i.e. attach elements via dragging connectors etc.

Laura at Formidable has been extremely helpful with the details of understanding how to use the shortcode filters and PHP to customize. Of course, actual customization is something you have to pay for, but help with understanding what’s happening with the code has been invaluable and definitely saved me time. Formidable has feature-rich plug-ins, for sure!

Ease of use. Lots of powerful add-ons with white label feature included. You can literally customize every single aspect of your form.

Since you can customize so many aspect of your form, you'll easily feel overwhelm the first few time you setup your form. But after awhile, you'll fall in love with them (Formidable Forms)

I'm using Formidable Form for creating simple order and booking forms, connected with my local payment gateway.

Customization. Hands down the best form builder, but that 's just the beginning. Formidable Pro allows you to take the data you collect and use it any way you need, it's hard to give specifics, but examples of what it is capable of are easy. It can be a full event management system, or a complete web store, a contact directory, or a swim team management system. Formidable was not designed to be any of these things but it is powerful enough to do it. I have been asked to do things with data that would normally require a back-end solution but instead was handled by this plug-in. WordPress is a community that grows and learns together, premium plugin's were free for many years but that model comes with many downsides and few benefits. Companies such as Strategy11 continue to offer a quality product at no expense to the community and their premium solution easily adds enough to justify the expense. They remain a strong supporter of WordPress and by extension, me.

The licensing structure. A few years ago you were able to purchase the add-on's individually. Now they only come with a specific tier. I believe I understand why they did it this way and I probably would have done it myself, but I still don't "like" it.

I try to solve all my problems with Formidable. That may sound absurd and it does not work for everything, but I do try. We have all searched for plugins to do specific things only to spend hours finding work arounds for poorly written code or troubleshooting incompatibilities. I don't have these issues with Formidable so step 1 is always to consider how it can solve the problem.

As soon as we start using a feature of Formidable, another one pops up that I am driven to learn. Keep 'em coming!

Only that years ago when we first started using Formidable, they offered "hire an expert". We did and unfortunately that person was less than expected. Some of our clients are still feeling the pain.

Very easy to use - yet extremely powerful. I love that I can build a full backend login system where people can create custom profiles/posts/listings, or I can just make a simple contact form.

I love all the features that Formidable Forms has to offer. Plus, they make it pretty user-friendly to create all sorts of forms quickly.

Some of the payment gateway integration is a little challenging for me.

I can create simple contact forms to in-depth questionnaires, making customer communication effortless. Plus, I really like how easy it is to change out little things here and there.

Formidable has the ability to be flexible enough for both small, single-logic forms and large, multi-logic forms. It also scales from small batch use forms to large scale uses.

Some of the support documents initially weren't as fleshed out and some features had to be figured out on our on.

It generates my contact form, manages the subsequent contacts, provides them to MailChimp. Simple workflow. It generates also forms for online questions and answers, powered by a simple database based on Formidable Forms

There are 2 very important aspects about Formidsble Forms: 1. The support and availability is among the best for any WP plugin, 2. The functionality and control to create a great user experience is unmatched for both developers and drag and drop users.

There are many form builders out there and many are comparable, Formidable does have a slight learning curve because it works differently than other form builders but once you get it you won’t look back.

I use Formidable to gather basic contact info with basic styling to complex pricing and configuration for data and even products. I use Formidable to reduce The time hand coding or manipulating WP.

As a developer, I like the extensibility of Formidable Forms and the different add-ons that are available. Anything you can think of that needs an integrated form can almost certainly be implemented with Formidable forms. Together with the Code Snippets plugin, this is one of my core plugins that I use on all my Wordpress projects.

Nothing honestly ... or maybe that you need to install an extra plugin for the pro version? (would be nice to just have to install the public version and upgrade that with a license key instead of having to download the pro version as a separate plugin)

Formidable has the most features, is easy to use and easy to extend. I have added functions to functions.php file from the Formidable documentation and they just work. Very professional. And they keep adding features to make it better. I trust this developer and there are many Wordpress plugin developers that I do not trust.

Graphic form builder with tons of possibilities. If you want to build more complex forms while keeping it easy then this is the perfect plugin for you.

Formidable Forms is the backbone of many websites that I have built on WordPress. What I like best is how I am able to build complex processes using the built-in features of Formidable Forms. I'm able to us the many features to implement the required process for the website. This can be a system to manage ticketing, appointment, user profiles, and almost anything that I can think of. There is a ton of documentation and resources that can help you do basic to very advanced programming with Formidable Forms. Formidable Forms makes it easy for us to collect information from a user, store that information, perform tasks on that information, and easily view and manage the submitted data.

Formidable Forms has a lot of additional add-ons and features that are only available to certain plan levels. I dislike this because the cost to upgrade is not justifiable when I only require one of the many features that the upgrade will provide. I am forced to pay for features that I do not need.

I've been able to build increasingly complex websites and web apps using Formidable Forms and Wordpress. Formidable Forms allows me to collect inputs from users and then use that information to perform calculations and tasks. I'm also able to create administrative views and forms so that inputs can be managed easily by the team. I have found that the biggest limitation with Formidable Forms is only what we envision. The plug-in is very extendable and able to handle any requirement that we throw at it.

I like that you can easily import PHP into the form builder to expand for a specific use case. We have been able to build intricate databases with the form builder that we never would have been able to do without a ton of custom code. A few lines of code and some shortcodes have made life easier. Support is amazing to work with and usually answers questions in less than 24 hours. The team has a true commitment to the WordPress community and the Slack group is always a tremendous help to solving problems. No system can build for every use case but Formidable Forms makes it easy to operate across multiple needs.

The Stripe integration could do more. Right now, it's one-directional for the most part which leaves out many reporting needs. An issue I encountered with the integration was the combination in using Stripe with registration. It resulted in a tremendous issue that took us a month or so to fix but I understand that they cannot account for the use case we had in this case. We fixed the issue and everything is working perfectly otherwise.

We have created an entire billing system for an insurance company. We have also created a classified platform and a social media platform with Formidable Forms. It's great for any sort of data entry and organizes the data well for reports. We have used the form builder in conjunction with other plugins to create piecemeal MVPs for startups looking to maximize function and save money. It's truly a great plugin to work with.

Formidable's purpose is simple enough - easy design interface, controls in plain English, and even some advanced filters to get you along. As a plugin that you can use to create frontends to SQL databases, and an entire universe of PHP customization, make this a truly Formidable plugin.

Views are easy to make, but a little difficult to make pretty. If you know basic HTML, then doing a table with some rows is easy enough, and the output looks as expected. There is another plugin called wpDataTables that makes the marriage complete! Easily add super powerful data display and editing capabilities to front-end users with a few clicks.

As a plugin that can handle CRUD Create/Read/Update/Delete - I have found it indispensable as a tool to create complete modules for specific tasks within a company, and I can tie all that information back together for reporting using SQL.
