Glide is very reliable and very flexible. I have replaced 3 different software products by building my own software without knowing how to code. I now run my entire business on Glide. I also like the native integration with Google Sheets, so I can update or reference my data using either tool.

It's a very steep learning curve compared to other products - extremely steep. However, once you understand how it works, it becomes very straightforward. The biggest challenge for me is how many steps are required to present the data the way I want to, compared to a tool like Adalo (which is unreliable).

Glide allows me and my users to view/edit the same information from the same source. I used to rely on Zapier to update information across various platforms, which was complicated and time-consuming to set up. I run my entire business on Glide now. HIghly recommended!

Por conta de eu ser de outro pais e não receber em dolares o valor ainda e um pouco alto para mim, isso e a unica coisa que não gosto muito, mas e algo mais pessoal.

Hoje eu consigo pegar todos os dados financeiros que tenho e colocar e uma planilha para poder ser feito uma analise melhor no glider de qualquer lugar e a qualquer momento.

Ability to tie to spreadsheet was essential to completing my project quickly. I could easily do the complicated calculations in google sheets and display results. Glide was easy to use. In the past year 2 years Glide has even added new useful features.

The update time to spreadsheet and return to application is a bit slow, 2-3 seconds. There is not an easy method to lock a record to an invidual user during the update so under heavy usage overwriting of information can occur.

I have been able to build apps to provide a flexible reservation system to provide to our canoe club to book boats of several types. Another bloggish type app was developed to provide information and communications to our Canadian canoe team at the world championship in UK. These applications were developed as a volunteer effort.

The main point on my side is that databases are not based in Europe. Also, there is a point with the GDPR as the tool isn't perfectly compliant.

Easy to create, organize and integrate. Even non programmers can easuly create an app. Businesses can utilize the app either for internal use or external.

Row limits and edit limits are quite limiting. I am also waiting for the feature that will allow the use of fingerscan

The pace at which new features are released is fantastic; the team really does a great job listening to its user base to incorporate useful features. The UI is beautiful compared to other no-code platforms I have trialled, and it makes the magic of creating apps simple. A range of advanced columns in the data editor means you can create pretty much anything you imagine. The ability to link Glide tables across apps is a stellar feature that allows our data to be used across various functions of the organisation with ease.

Not much! There are little improvements that could be made in the data editor to make workflows and column management easier and more intuitive. The ability for multiple editors to work on an app simultaneously would be useful.

Using and building our work management solution in Glide has forced us to refine our processes, enabling greater clarity and transparency across our projects and communications. The solution means we can quickly deploy improvements that our team is actively involved in suggesting.

I have enjoyed building Glideapps for myself and a few clients. It's been great to see how quickly they [support] respond to feedback and the [product] team incorporates new features. It's brought back a love of development I thought I lost when I moved over to product management.

The biggest struggle I have with Glide is the UI. I find it to be a little cumbersome to work with. There are times when it doesn't work quite right in the preview. You have to run a private browser or another device to ensure things are working as you've built them. If they could fix those issues, it would be better from a workflow optimization point of view, but I've found ways to get around it for now.

Glide allows me to quickly and easily get a concept put together and in my hands (or my client's) in order to see how the idea/concept solves the problem we're working towards achieving.

That I can create an app that is specific to doing the thing I want it to do. I don't have to try to use something from the app store that might kinda do that thing. I also don't have to be a computer programmer, and that's ideal.

It's still a lot of information to make something new. The templates help a lot but there's still a lot of "I want it to do this, how do I make it do this?" figuring it out. It can be a tough learning curve when you're under a deadline.

It's replacing spreadsheets to assist with communication and data collection. It's smoother and more direct. It's quite nice for everyone involved cause who wants to look at another dang spreadsheet? I mean, I love them, but also I could use this instead and get my project done more smoothly.

The simplicity of using glide with their integrated glide tables or even google sheets. The user friendliness and more.
