The cost of hosting is pretty competitive but you get better support than competitors. Also, the interface to manage hosting, set up servers, SSL, etc.. is far superior.

Price can be a little higher than competitor pricing. The support queue can be a little bit longer than other places.

I use GoDaddy for hosting my own and several client websites.

It's simple, easy, and helps me make decisions quickly about sites that I can use and what's available. When I needed suggestions and help, GoDaddy made it easy for me to do this and to think of (and see) other options that were available. This really helped a lot!

Not sure that I "dislike" anything. I go there to get websites and it works.

Media Temple is the next hosting and domain service I've used. Their service is second to none, they were able to help resolve a few PHP issues and upgrade my core language quickly. Database setup was really easy and administration was great as well. I'd highly recommend Media Temple to anyone who is looking for a great host, you definitely get what you pay for.

I don't have much to complain about here, but their domain records page is a little confusing and not as intuitive as other providers. It's definitely not a deal breaker and even with this issue I'd still recommend them, but if I"m being nit picky this could be better.

I was able to host multiple sites on a shared server. Even though it's a shared server, everything worked great and was reliable and fast.

By far the best feature of media temple is the support staff! They are on point and it is a rare pleasure to deal with them on the phone ( rarely things go wrong). The few large clients we have that use Media Temple have a high volume of web traffic. If you have a series of websites or business that depends on a high bandwidth I would trust no other vendor than media temple due to the reliability of their network and servers. Yes, media temple is expensive, but if you take the stability/reliability of your website seriously it is worth the extra cost. The developer tools are also REALLY top tier- again you get what you pay for.

The cost, would be the only minus. If you plan on making a small website with little traffic ( a portfoilo, wedding website, small restaurant website, ect) I would suggest using a cheaper vendor because you won't be utilizing the full potential of their services.

Many things encourage to use of GoDaddy. 1: The interface of GoDaddy is very user-friendly. 2: Websites never face outage issues if hosted on Godaddy. 3: The Plans are also very cost-effective and even can be upgraded as per the need. 4: I like how Godaddy tries to make its platform very secure. 5: If sometimes I face an issue. I always jump to the support, which is very welcoming and available 24/7.

Sometimes thinking about the renewal plans. GoDaddy has become quite expensive.

The best part is that the setup of the website is very easy. The user interface is very convenient to use and is quite efficient. To manage our website, the control panel also has a lot of modules for easy access like email accounts and domains.

The support is sometimes lacking, although 24*7 support is available. Other than that, everything is just perfect.

The school's website is entirely being managed by GoDaddy hosting. All the options to manage the content on Wordpress is available in a very user friendly UI. Moreover, it also provides the domain specific email accounts to all the employees. Moreover, as backup facility is also available, it becomes even more convenient to use.

My website is running good, is easy to use, i don't remember problems to install any application, the options and instructions are very clear.

The time of response, and some times the guys of technical support i feel they are not are fully experts to solve the problem.

A little expensive. GoDaddy doesn't provide Free SSL with domain purchase so I have to purchase it seperately which costs me extra. Godaddy should make their pricing structure more flexible. Email hosting can be better.
