For website creation, hosting, or domain name purchasing, GoDaddy has long been a go-to for users. As a big-name provider, the platform currently manages over 75 million domains for 17 million customers around the world. Despite being a massive conglomerate, GoDaddy still provides low sign-up rates, which is why it is still a preferred platform by small to medium enterprises as well as blue-chip corporations. 99.9% uptime. Hosting is very flexible with Windows and Linux hosting options and many scripting language support.
Not in my control if something does go down.
Web hosting for all of our web solutions.
I have used this product for 11 years and I love that it allows me to redirect my domain to Facebook or any other site when I'm updating my website. No reason to use a competitor!
Honestly, I wish it was cheaper then $20 per month. I feel in 2021 something like this should be so much cheaper. But, it is what it is at this point and I'm not switching.
It hosts my website and it allows me to redirect my website when need be. It also allows me to put a template on all my emails that I send out to my database which is a huge plus!
my website has never been down since i use Godaddy and when i have any questions or concerns i can connect easily with someone on the chat and solve it right away
There is nothing i dislike about using godaddy hosting
I had a need to host my website and i feel covered with the service i receive from godaddy
GoDaddy is affordable and easy to use. I never worry about hosting failing to renew.
Occasionally I need to contact customer service, and they often do not speak English well.
I do not worry about my site going down or being hacked. That peace of mind is huge.
The best part I like is the customer service of GoDaddy. I use GoDaddy hosting for the last two years and my experience is excellent, I just purchased and designed my website and never faced any issue. I just have to renew if my pack is yearly. Once I had to configure my g-suite with GoDaddy hosting and I just contacted their customer support and they helped me throughout.
The pricing is very high if I choose GoDaddy professional team for my website designing.
I started a startup 3 years back and I started a website with GoDaddy hosting and from the day I purchased, my experience has been really amazing and it helped me in increasing my business and helped in reaching out to my clients across the globe.
With GoDaddy it is possible to create and maintain our website online with incredible ease. The platform has a surprisingly low cost, of only 12 dollars for a whole year during which we can keep our own domain online.
GoDaddy hosting has a rather obsolete file upload methodology at the time of publishing a new website. This would be the one based on the separate loading of folders with the different HTML, CSS and JavaScript contents (manually).
It is excellent that GoDaddy hosting can adapt to the dynamics of Wordpress, so in case you do not have enough information about marked languages for structure of web pages, or cascading style sheets, the platform can be adapted.
If you are new in the online website business and want the perfect and easy to utilize hosting’s and domains GoDaddy is your go to place. You either want the hostings for your WordPress site or woo commerce or any other web development tool GoDaddy hostings easily integrates with all web development tools. You can use their hostings to link them to your online stores. The packages provided by the GoDaddy Hostings are super great they offer free domains with the hosting means you need to pay for only hosting and you can access one of the standard domain for your business. Packages include SEO Optimizer, which helps your website to grow easily and shows your website to the people who are searching for the products available on your site. They also offer SSL Protection, which can help you to secure all your data easily and avoid the risk being hacked by the random hackers. GoDaddy hosting’s are super-fast and the page loading times are also super amazing. They easily integrates with all of your Payroll and related tools. Many of its users recommend GoDaddy. When it comes to the pricings. The pricing structure of the GoDaddy hosting is also very amazing and easy to understand. You can acquire deluxe version of the hosting in almost 4-5 USD, which offers many additional tools.
To be honest, there is nothing to hate about it. The Customer support is also amazing and helpful when needed.
Overall, GO daddy hosting has been a very useful hosting providing site for a long time and they have been in the positive reviews section for long enough to prove that they are best in the field of work they are.
I have started using Godaddy Hosting 5 years ago. Godaddy gives a very less cost Hosting for startup and freelancers. I have used it for my client's projects and even my own websites for the hosting purpose. They have excellent customer care services and 24/7 live support.
Godaddy VPS, cloud hosting, and dedicated servers are not providing the monthly cost offers. If you are going with the plans then pay for one time cost.
Easy setup, Cpanel support, less cost hosting is the best option for me to take Godaddy hosting.
GoDaddy Hosting is my go-to hosting service for sites that I build. I like how uncluttered and unobtrusive the service and the interface are. GoDaddy does not assume that they know what is best for your site... You get to decide that for yourself. Some other hosting services will overwrite your custom pages each time they do a server upgrade; GoDaddy does not overwrite your pages.
The only downside to GoDaddy is that their SSL certificate costs extra. You can usually get the first year free, but then after that you must pay a renewal fee.
I am hosting several commercial and non-profit sites at GoDaddy. The hosting is reliable and quick. The PHP servers are included in the hosting package, as are the MySQL servers.
The management of dns is very simple and clear
Links are sometimes not easy to click sometimes
Dns
What I love about go daddy is that the rates have been consistent for a long time. No unexpected price hikes. The support is great and they respond in time. Hosting is always on, never have I ever experienced any downtime while using Godaddy Hosting.
Whereas the hosting with CPanel is great, using webmail in Cpanel is very dreadful. Emails can take up to 5 minutes to be delivered and sometime they are not delivered at all.
Godaddy is a trusted platform for hosting websites and be certain that they will always be online. Even when the subscription expires, I still get up to 2 weeks to review before my account is suspended.
Pricing is reasonable and it's easy to manage your profile
Sometimes their pricing just sky rockets on other apps like Office Mail. Starts as $16 per year then goes to $60 per year. Just sticker shock as we didn't realise it was a discount for year one.
Being able to have all of the domains we want to claim under one profile makes billing and management easy.
Ease and cost effective model. I have used Go Daddy for 3 domains.
Tricky for tech side if you aren't tech savvy.
I have 3 websites / domains hosted thru them.
The fast loading speed and efficent use of resources
Hosting pacages are bit expensives compared to others
I have run my blogs on godaddy hosting and they are working well
What I like most about this tool is that it is one of the best web hosting providers out there. offers great services when you buy it. The characteristics that it possesses are special such as: performance: This allows any type of hosting service you hire (traditional hosting, VPS, dedicated hosting, etc.) to guarantee a sustained performance. Quality support: its support is 24/7, provides advice via phone, chat or video call. Excellence: thanks to its huge staff of staff all over the world, this company can provide an excellent service. Security: within its extensive team, GoDaddy has a staff dedicated exclusively to keeping its users safe. They work 24 hours every day of the year to ensure that there is no suspicious activity, information theft, viruses or any other type of attack. and finally and more striking an affordable price.
The only thing I do not like about this software is the limit to edit themes: For users who contract the basic plan, it is very difficult to edit the topics and times. This is too important since being able to edit a theme, color and several options is important to make your website a brand and not another blog that looks like all the other GoDaddy blogs.
The benefits that have brought me are many, I work as a web designer, and I have tried several hosting software and nothing like this.
Easy to navigate and great sales available.
Sometimes the prices are a little high if you don't have a coupon.
It's great having so many business products in one place
My entire business is my website and the sites I manage for my clients. If a site goes down, my business is down. In over five years and with over 40 sites under management, have never had even 1 minute of outage or downtime. GoDaddy Hosting is bullet-proof. It's the closest thing to guaranteed as you can get in the world of web hosting.
Too many upsells. When I add a new domain to my inventory, I have to click through too many extra screens offering me products I don't need or want. It's not a problem when you're only buying one URL. But when you buy them 5-10 at a time, it starts to waste a lot of time.
Hosting personal, business and client websites
GoDaddy offers great technical and phone support. If you don't know how to do something they walk you through it.
Lack of freedom on some of the option. Everything is very cut and paste, however, it does make it easier.
Everyone loves the new format and look.
No frills, easy, simple website hosting! Any issues or questions, easy access to a customer rep. Customer service has always been great and the hosting affordable for our small business.
No issues or no dislikes. GoDaddy has always been easily accessible (customer service) and each rep we've come in contact with has always been knowledgeable and personal.
No current business problems with GoDaddy Hosting. In the past, we had a situation where our hosting ended and our site was not accessible. GoDaddy troubleshooted the problem immediately.
I like the ease of use, they handle everything, we have used them for years and been pleased
There is nothing is dislike, very pleased with product
We are keeping our website up and our web domain current. We also use this for our office emails.
The cost of hosting is pretty competitive but you get better support than competitors. Also, the interface to manage hosting, set up servers, SSL, etc.. is far superior.
Price can be a little higher than competitor pricing. The support queue can be a little bit longer than other places.
I use GoDaddy for hosting my own and several client websites.
I like how reliable GoDaddy is. Getting someone on the phone who is knowledgeable and courteous is always easy with them. I've NEVER had a bad customer experience or a problem they couldn't resolve with just one call. I also like that the system is VERY easy to use and the support you get from them helps you learn new things so you can stay up-to-date with technology.
Some of their prices are a bit high. Yet, you get what you pay for. I also dislike the fact that when they upgrade their products you sometimes have to start from scratch or pay them to transfer the all the information on your site. They might be a bit more expensive than other providers, but they are defiantly worth every penny!
Reliability is the absolute 1st benefit that gives you the ability to integrate an effective marketing campaign. The support I get from this vendor gives me the ability to spend less time on tech stuff and more time on other aspects of my business. I've leaned a LOT from their support team and I've been able top keep up and in many cases surpass my competition.
All the tools and the simple of the navigation to work.
When the system is down or problems with the transfer of servers.
GoDaddy hosting save me time with my company to integrate different hosting and domains of the company.
Their hosting service is very outstanding. I never experience any downtime in my site. But what I like most is their constant reminder about my account. They frequently sending a summary account of my account. And also includes promos that made me purchase 3 domain names.
The lack of tutorial how to set up the domain name. Most of the tutorials I see are from other users. I hope they can maximize their products by adding tutorials. It is a good market to entice people to buy their products.
We have a blogging site that use for marketing purposes. We put there our feedback and experience and our visitors uses it. Having a site looks very professional. Choosing GoDaddy as our hosting benefits us in our budget. It is very much cost effective
Simple interface, you can host many websites and I've never had any downtime or speed issues.
Nothing I dislike. But my websites are mainly low traffic (for presentation purposes), so I can't comment on the performance when it comes to high traffic sites.
I can have my hosting and my domains in the same place. It's cheap and easy to use.
They have a wide range of prices depending on the kind of website i am creating. There is a plan which i always use called economy plan which is for only 3 dollars per month so for all those who are just starting out their career and need a portfolio this plan suits you well. Also they have customized plans for wordpress and installing any application only takes a minute whether it is wordpress, drupal or magneto.
Using godaddy hosting for large scale websites is really expensive, so it is a good option for small-to-medium websites that only use limited storage and bandwidth.
They have a simple and easy to use control panel which any one even not software developers can get familiar easily with it. For example when i make websites for clients, they feel comfortable using it. There is also a very useful feature which allow you to upgrade you plan resources with only one click this was very helpful when i was working on the backend of a website for a conference, and in the middle of the conference there was a huge traffic on the site so it went down, fortunately when i upgraded the bandwidth at that moment, the site took only one minute to get up again.
GoDaddy is very straight forward and I have transitioned from another platform to host everything on GoDaddy.
I am fairly new to using GoDaddy, and I have honestly not found anything that I particularly dislike at this point.
Domains, websites hosting, email marketing, and SSL Certificates. GoDaddy allows us to have everything in one central portal which is ideal.
It's simple, easy, and helps me make decisions quickly about sites that I can use and what's available. When I needed suggestions and help, GoDaddy made it easy for me to do this and to think of (and see) other options that were available. This really helped a lot!
Not sure that I "dislike" anything. I go there to get websites and it works.
I wanted to use a website that I could brand and use for my business and they helped me come up with one that worked when my original idea was already being used.
Media Temple is the next hosting and domain service I've used. Their service is second to none, they were able to help resolve a few PHP issues and upgrade my core language quickly. Database setup was really easy and administration was great as well. I'd highly recommend Media Temple to anyone who is looking for a great host, you definitely get what you pay for.
I don't have much to complain about here, but their domain records page is a little confusing and not as intuitive as other providers. It's definitely not a deal breaker and even with this issue I'd still recommend them, but if I"m being nit picky this could be better.
I was able to host multiple sites on a shared server. Even though it's a shared server, everything worked great and was reliable and fast.
By far the best feature of media temple is the support staff! They are on point and it is a rare pleasure to deal with them on the phone ( rarely things go wrong). The few large clients we have that use Media Temple have a high volume of web traffic. If you have a series of websites or business that depends on a high bandwidth I would trust no other vendor than media temple due to the reliability of their network and servers. Yes, media temple is expensive, but if you take the stability/reliability of your website seriously it is worth the extra cost. The developer tools are also REALLY top tier- again you get what you pay for.
The cost, would be the only minus. If you plan on making a small website with little traffic ( a portfoilo, wedding website, small restaurant website, ect) I would suggest using a cheaper vendor because you won't be utilizing the full potential of their services.
