No Comment. Only had one experience that I was involved in and it was not a good one.
It was very disappointing to have our account cancelled over $110 after being such a loyal customer. Trying to get it up and running again was frustrating and extremely lengthy - this impacted our business for multiple days which is really unacceptable. One would think an internet company would be able to get the web page and email working within minutes instead of days. Multiple people from our company had to make numerous calls in order to get our company up and working again. That is extremely frustrating and disappointing.
N/A
The site was fairly static but seemed to always be available.
It took me a couple years to cancel the service. I wasn't able to successfully stop the service until the credit card they had on file expired and Lunarpages cancelled me.
It provided an internet presence for our small company.
They had a decent Control Panel, but that's it.
The lack of service, lack of support, and even to the point that their support personnel try to tell you the issue you're having is with YOU, not them. The issue was definitely with Lunarpages and their servers, but they refused to investigate, until I finally decided to move my websites to a new host. Then they all of a sudden discovered the problem, and admitted it was their issue, not mine or anything I had done.
None - they're terrible. I spent MONTHS working on an issue, to no avail, and was told repeatedly by their support department that I was the problem, when I wasn't; very upsetting.
There is really nothing to like about this company.
Very poor customer service. Chat feature was very slow and could not answer questions. they told me to call customer service so I called. They didn't answer. I left a message and they didn't call me back.
Hosting for a client. I would not use this company ever again.
The support staff (like James Carr) who are helpful and dedicated to solving the problem immediately.
OMG my email form keeps on quitting for NO REASON AT ALL. This is the LIFEBLOOD of our business and suddenly our simple email form completely quits sending us leads with NO WARNING. Our business will FAIL if this happens and this is the second time it has happened within a month. Completely and totally unacceptable.
Your company is creating the greatest threat and problems to our business and not helping by allowing the problem to re-occur.
There is very little to like. After they changed or updated server, website started going down 3-4 times a day. They blamed this on "excessive CPU". After 5 years of this exact website without "excessive CPU".
They talked me into purchasing Managed Hosting for $40 a month. I did. Now the site is down. 24 hours ago and on 3 phone calls I asked that the site be restored. I am still waiting, site is still non-functional.
I am trying to have a simple website hosted. That is all. But LunarPages does not seem capable of hosting reliably.
I only used it for email. They have good support, they answer the phone right away.
When stuff goes wrong, it takes forever to fix it and they don't seem to care.
None
Current service is quick response time and no issues. Sufficient memory, disk space, email hosting.
I recently migrated from Basic service to Business service. At almost every step along the way, the technicians implementing the transition caused unnecessary outages and I had to spend a lot of time trying to guess what had happened and alert Lunar Pages support to it.
I have a WooCommerce store with both a retail and wholesale websites.
The best thing about Lunarpages is that I no longer use them
Their dismissive technical support. They came up with every excuse in the book about why an issue that I was having was not their problem even though it was fairly easy to prove that it was happening on hardware under their control, not mine.
None anymore
I have been a Lunarpages customer for over 10 years. I am a website designer and have recommended Lunarpages to many clients. The customer support is generally very good and the uptime is excellent.
Basic Hosting is now a waste of money for content management systems (e.g. Wordpress). I moved two clients to a different hosts after trying to work with Lunarpages to resolve so-called "high resouce management" usage for both Wordpress sites. The sites are now operating incredibly well and loading very fast on another website hosting server. I will never use Lunarpages for WordPress sites again.
Used to be good value for basic webhosting for small businesses and non-profits. It's still okay for static sites but that's about it.
