The greatest thing about Icontact is that you're able to create newsletters easily with decent templates they provide and track the interaction your emails recieve from your customers. Having those analytics helps us as a small business know what our customer demographic best responds to and are interested in.
There isn't a lot to dislike about the program, however, sometimes the newsletter builder will have issue loading pictures you upload and may take more than one attempt to upload them.
Were able to know if our customers got our email. We used to mail out newsletters physically, and never know if they arrived with our customers, now Icontact gives you stats on the emails you've sent.
With the newest update, our email lists load quicker for a faster sending time.
I am unable to tag contacts based on what I am sending, as some of our contacts fall into multiple categories.
Icontact helps us reach our customers with our weekly newsletters and any other email communication needed.
I like the functionality and the ability to create different looks with emails. Uploading contacts is easy and I am also using the auto responder.
The cost - mail chimp is free and I’m unfortunately considering switching. As a small business looming at ways to reduce expenses is important.
I feel like people no longer want long emails so moving to a short blog like set up is best with clickable links.
It does what it is supposed to do................. ........................... .............................. ...........................
The 2018-08 update makes it harder to review new sign ups and to reassign to different lists - clicking the boxes was easier. Long segment names now have to be truncated which makes them less meaningful.
Sending monthly newsletters. Resending Newsletters to new sign ups, Repurposing past emails.
I'd say the customer service aspect is what we like best. We have a dedicated employee who constantly reaches out and offers her help. She always answers the phone and is quick to respond if she is away from her desk. It makes the whole service very personal and convenient
The one thing I dislike is the storage issue. I keep getting notifications that my iContact directory is almost full so I have to manually go into old email distribution lists and delete each one. I wish old distribution lists would just expire and go away.
iContact helps us send out well-formatted invites, evites and notifications to a wide group of people. It is a great resource for us.
Emails are the most responsive methods for communicating current sales, events and notices to a large group. When we send a mass email, we see results immediately. I like the ease of use to design and set-up an email, and the personal attention from my account representative who often outlines strategies with my contact list to help on deliverability.
Sometimes have issues with our media 'storage' that doesn't appear accurate. Wish I understood better how to reach the people who are listed on the dashboard results as 'NO INFORMATION'. Don't like the alternating IP addresses as I'm unable to ask our local email service to whitelist our email IP (since it has numerous IP addresses that might be utilized by other advertisers).
iContact emails allow us to communicate sales, promotions, services, benefits and safety information quickly and to a large crows. Results are noticed immediately by the phone calls we receive.
Icontact allows me to create an extra "touch point" with my customers. It also allows me to have a "leave behind" in a digital format for further information gathering. The analytics help me change my message and keep customers clicking.
the design is a little clunky. It needs to be more similar to wix.com's design features
How to reach certain contractors that insulate themselves from sales staff.
It is very easy to use and gives you enough space to store users and images. Through this email newsletter program I can easily send beautifully designed emails to hundreds or thousands of subscribers at once. It is 0a great way to share news, announce new promotions, share new product features—or even send out an annual email update to all of your friends and family. It can organize your contacts into lists, add new contacts easily via a signup form, send beautifully formatted messages in a half-dozen clicks, and analyze how your email performed.
The graphics is sometimes a little too simple, I would like more variety.
I can keep constant contact with my users and I can update them with our company news in a very easy and satisfactory way. By reading statitics after sending the emails, I can also keep track of the people who are reading my newsletters and know who is really interested. Years ago, that might have required paying for a newspaper ad, publishing a press release, or printing and mailing a flyer. Today, reaching our customers and contacts is as easy as clicking a button in an email marketing app.
I can reach as many or as few as I need to within minutes of when I hit deliver now.
For the holidays I wish there were more themes
Much easier to use when sending mass emailings
User friendly, we really like all the improvements made this year, I always enjoy working with our account reps.
Response time from support can be slow.
Email marketing, improved sales, email database storage, marketing analytics
I like that I can contact customer support when I need them.
Our company does not send many emails, but maintains a substantial email list. I wish there was a payment plan that took our low frequency for email into account.
We write better emails using the email templates that iContact provides.
iContact updated their email builder recently and it has become much more user friendly. The ability to sort contacts into specific lists is also very helpful.
It would be extremely helpful to be able to resend a subscription confirmation email, as these tend to get lost in people's boxes.
The ability to keep in touch with a variety of contacts through email newsletters.
I love how easy iContact Pro is to use! So simple to navigate!!!
I have had it crash on me a few times, other than that, it is great!
I use iContact Pro for marketing automation. Must simpler!
They are the #1 name in email. Great reporting, good at getting through spam filters!
I don't use them often, but when I've used the template designer they're not great.
I use them for multiple clients, never any trouble, great importing features and good customer service.
The integration with Netsuite into lists.
Cannot send just 1 email without making a new list.
We would lose contact with people, but now with iContact we can easily integrate with Netsuite & keep in touch with everyone in our state..
Their customer service is very supportive. They take the time to have meetings with you and discuss how to use the program.
Haven't worked long enough on it to say.
We can track the efficiency of our emails, including how much they're opened, clicked, or even track who unsubscribed. I like the A/B testing to see what email titles and photos work best.
The customer service is amazing. I can always reach them when I need them and they always solve my problem. The chat feature is great as well. There is never any wait time.
The old email editor was horrible. But now that they have updated the email editor within the last few months, I am pleased. When I'm logged into the account, the contacts section has an older look and feel but it's not a big deal.
We are staying in touch with our investor base through iContact. Using iContact ensures that the emails get delivered properly and that there are good metrics.
We send out a weekly newsletter for our small non-profit tango community, and use iContact to manage subscriptions and keep an archive of our newsletters and images. It is easy to re-use the template from week to week, and keep track of those who receive the mailing. We can track how many people receive the mailing as well as how many actually open it.
You cannot sort your saved images in folders or any other way to find what you want quickly.
Since we aren't really a "business" but a non-profit, our problems are always small. We do attract people to our tango venue and keep a mailing that includes out of towners who like to know what is going on in our city before they visit.
-Really great customer service, whether it's a call or email -Fairly easy to use email designer and contact system -Great organization
-Contact segmenting doesn't work for everyone -There's a learning curve for the email designer
Good mass marketing service, we reach out to contacts more often than we would have otherwise.
It’s very user friendly and easily assessable.
Duplicates form on different servers so I’m seeing multiples of the same contact.
All of my contacts in one place and able to group by association.
