I like the simplicity of checking the reports concerning openings and clicks of the newsletter sent.
I want to be able to modify a newsletter after I have scheduled its release.
IContact newsletters are an effective communication tool to send announcements and links to educational videos and articles.
Signing up and starting basic email campaigns is relatively easy. Though it helps, users don't have to have advanced computing or technical email knowledge to implement basic campaigns. We can import our existing contact lists and integrate them into new or existing campaigns. iContact has an abundance of email templates that can be edited with intuitive and uncomplicated editing features.
The automation capabilities are good, but don't allow for as complete of a hands-off and self-adapting experience as in other email marketing applications.
iContact gives us web tools that provide a doorway into our organization. Website visitors and those that receive emails or read social media or blog posts can connect to our iContact forms and sign up for events, to receive learning resources or to get directly added to marketing lists. This allows us to regularly reach out to contacts that already have an interest in our company, products and services. Maintaining meaningful communications with our contacts has helped us to increase promotion inquiries and business development.
My company uses iContact at least twice a month to send emails to our customer base. We love the metrics that iContact provides. The metrics are great to share with our regionals and makes them clean up their lists when they see who bounces.
I really have nothing negative to say about iContact. They provide a great service.
iContact allows us to achieve two touchpoints throughout the month to our customer lists. We want to stay in front of our customer is the latest news about products and iContact achieves that goal for us.
iContact it user friendly, and you can create nice looking templates
It occasionally freezes up and you have to exit and start over. Not often though
It's an easy way for us to share email communications with our team members every week. We also use it to send out special alerts.
Info on who is reading emails, very helpful
Usually have to resize photos, nothing missing
Client interaction
Our strategic advisor is really kind, funny, and very helpful for our email marketing needs. She goes over our account each month with us and takes the time to help us out and make sure we're understanding and doing everything correctly. I also really love their system, simple to use and effective. We can include and exclude lists to send an email to, schedule it in advance, and forget about it. We can also see the history of a contact - what they open and how many times. Their clicks, etc. This makes it so we can send to people who open our emails, ensuring we don't get blocked by the major email providers. They have excellent customer service!
Sometimes sending and uploading lists can be a long process, but it is worth it to ensure you're sending to the right contacts. The HTML editor can be funky at times, but it is handy.
We have been able to succeed at email marketing with iContact. Our emails don't get blocked by major service providers because through iContact, we can only send to people who open our emails, so we don't get marked as spam. Our open rates have increased, and complaints have gone down. We still see the same amount of response or even more through doing this!
The interface is extremely well thought out, easy to navigate, and reliable.
Would be great if unused resources could be carried over to the next period.
By far the biggest problem that iContact solves is the risk associated with conducting email-based business activity on the internet. Overzealous anti-spam systems and ISP "cops" were making it impossible to attempt any email-based marketing before we found iContact.
IContact has a simple interface and nice selection of templates. Their knowledge base is easy to access, and the tech support is helpful and affirming. The functioning is intuitive, and we've rarely run into complications with our monthly use.
Wish there was more flexibility to adjust for Outlook quirks.
We communicate each month with our alumni volunteers, and have published program updates during the pandemic. We're able to publish special announcements for various departments with ease and confidence.
I love the new templates and layouts since the most recent update. Very user-friendly and ideas and templates ready to go.
I dislike that there is not a test email feature.
meaningful communication that reaches all our constituents
I have been a regular user of iContact for probably ten years now. I love how easy it is to create an email template, add graphics, including video links, and more. Very simple and intuitive, and I am not an html coder, just a basic business person. I have found iContact to be able to do everything I want it to do, including future-date emails, segment my lists, and more, and all at a very reasonable price point compared to other broadcast email providers I have researched.
Nothing comes to mind, honestly. I will continue to use iContact for as long as I continue in business.
I need to drive readership to my weekly column, and I found iContact the best way to drive awareness and increase my readership subscription count.
