Automated social media posts are such a blessing. I do pop in daily though to check on buying signals which I tend to get the most interaction from my responses. Having a support staff on call 24/7 and an assigned consultant make life easy.
I dislike how the email has such limited features and is difficult to use.
We are working on building brand awareness. We have seen us show up in search engines after sending out press releases. We want this to drive website traffic and convert that to sales however are having a hard time tracking the progress but overall are excited to be moving in this direction.
I contact is easy to understand. It's perfect for novices.
The template options do not meet my needs.
I am able to consolidate all my email lists into a single platform.
The ease of use is there once you get used to the platform.
The segmentation of contacts can be troublesome and the WYSIWYG editor leaves a bit to be desired.
Sending out marketing emails rather than using SalesForce to do so.
It is easy to add contacts and to send out mass emails to all of your contacts.
I feel like editing the templates are not very easy. It takes a while to learn and it's hard for me to move things around and edit the templates to the way I want them.
We are able to send out mass emails to our guests, including our monthly newsletters and any updates we have.
This helps me get my work done faster and it makes a lot of sense
Nothing at all i think it is great and it helps with my work
I am using this program to track all my contacts
I like how easy it is to store data such as contacts, images, resources etc.
The lack of HTML capabilities such as hover effects, buttons etc. There are also bugs that cause edits to not be saved which have led to incorrect email messages sending to prospects.
Targeting prospects for clients
Toolkit and user manual that came with product
Dislike pricing compared to marketplace products
Connectivity among diff tools
Ease-of-use to post press releases to the wire and track impressions.
The fact that you have to call the editorial desk to rush a release, even if included in your account level.
Press release distribution - delivery to target media outlets.
Reliability and stability of the platform. Never experienced any delays in sending large email blasts.
Interface is a bit stale and the development tools for creating email is fairly basic...but getting better.
We manage all our email communications for our 75k+ database.
I like that I can add in my own media in a fairly user friendly environment.
I dislike that most fonts I sownd time choosing, don’t show up in the emails to customers.
We use it to promote our events and expand the reach of our organization.
Easy, straightforward platform for marketing automation beginners to compose email with simple click and edit features.
Quite unstable synchronization with Salesforce. Makes it less reliable to manage contacts. Would require decent level of knowledge of HTML to create well-looking emails.
The platform can be utilized as a temporary solution for marketing automation purpose during the time of research to invest in a more sophisticated platform, especially for medium to large size businesses.
The ability to upload PDFs to the email and create workflows.
Social media platform isn't great. Landing pages can also be confusing. Takes time to learn.
Scheduling emails and forgetting about it rather than going in every day to create and send on the spot. Also the ability to provide more content through PDFs and so on.
We have been using iContact for quite some time now and any time we have a question, the service team is always quick with a helpful answer.
I wish I can do demographic targeting, so I could send an email to only people in a certain area or only people in a certain line of business. It is possible, but it's not quite as user friendly as I would prefer.
It has allowed us to keep in touch with customers and potential customers that we might otherwise not have a reason to contact.
The templates/email generator are easy to use and helpful
List sophistication and limited ability to sync with our CRM
Reaching out to multiple constituents at one time
You can send an unlimited number of emails with this low-cost service.
I was not able to import my Gmail contacts. What's more, I felt that there were not enough automatic responses.
I have trouble reaching potential clients, but iContact allows me to create and send engaging marketing material to my subscribers. I feel as though this as increased potential for business growth.
iContact has plenty of features to take your emails to the next level, including templates and a robust editor that lets you fully write HTML templates and apply styles. Pro sets you up with a dedicated consultant, who will talk you through strategies and how to improve your email delivery and engagement, as well as help you work through the inevitable technical hiccup or spam count
I used ICP when i was on a team, and for some reason our consultant would always email me with any updates or questions, including payment questions, which I couldn't answer. They would never change the main contact, even after repeated requests to do so. Consultation calls felt like they would always contain at least one upsell , which can be wearying after already shelling out money for the service. Emails sometimes took hours to actually send, which made our send times and strategies a little weird.
We communicated with thousands of subscribers and customers with this product on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
I liked the ease of how quickly an email marketing campaign or simple eblast can be put together. There isn't a lot of coding or html knowledge needed to use this well. In comparison to other platforms the functionality is second to none.
There are templates but they sometimes don't always work with images substituted in on all platforms.
The benefits are the speed, and ease for the amount of time spent on creating the email marketing campaigns. As a result time can be spent on other tasks and content for the emails.
Easy to use, fast, reliable and full of options.
Some issues in the formatting that could be fixed.
E-mail marketing became much easier because you can send it to different email lists and you can test the emails before you send them.
More user friendly than other similar platforms
Lack of clarity in email lists for customers choosing to opt-out/unsubscribe
Better contact with members and donors.
i like that they offered a free trial which is vital for first impression.
the 14 dollars or so i think is a lil bit too much of a charge.
i think what sets it apart is the premier service, personal advisers who help create an effective marketing plan. This is something you won’t find with other email marketing service providers.
