iContact has recently updated their templates and editing platform and it is now so user friendly. I can upload everything into their templates or create my own without having to use a third party platform like Dreamweaver to assist.
I wish that if I have a subscriber assigned to two different lists that if I send a blast out and hit both of those lists that it wouldn't send that email to that particular person twice but instead filter it out so they only get it once. Many of our people are assigned to multiple different lists and occasionally we hit more than one list at a time with sale details or other promotions.
It's great to be able to really track the open rates and use the new dashboard to get a quick glimpse at how our email blasts are preforming.
Love customer service , they are very nice, very willing to help when we need them.

We are making sure we are connected with our constituents for communications as varied as our newsletter or renewing memberships. iContact is a direct source of revenue for us while making engagement with our community easy.
The few times that I have ever needed to contact iContact's Tech Support, they have been quick to get a hold of, and they have been knowledgeable and able to resolve issues in a short amount of time.

I love how easy it is to build comprehensive workflows. These workflows allow for greater automation, which makes my life as a marketer easier! I also love the support team. Our Strategic Advisor, Kate, is helpful and responsive. She is a rock star!
We're having some issues with open/click discrepancies, which affects our reporting and analytics. I'd also like more comprehensive analytics. Kate pulls reports for me each month with full stats, but I'd like the ability to do this myself.
We used a different ESP for about two years until we realized that utilizing their automation features would cost us way too much money. We switched to iContact, and I've been able to implement tons of automated workflows that would've cost my company hundreds of dollars a month with the other ESP.
Ease of use, reporting fuctionality is great as well! I have used other companies in the past and this one is much more user friendly
Design fuctions could use more improvement, sometimes the site will freeze or crash causing me to start over.

Whenever I have contacted the staff at iContact they have always extremely helpful. They have taken the time to understand my needs and have always been able to answer my questions and find a solution that fits my organizational needs.
I have not disliked anything about iContact.
We have three ministry organizations that we use iContact for: a church, an outreach ministry and a para-church ministry. Through iContact we are able to stay in touch with the congregation, followers and donors of these organizations. iContact makes it easy.

I like the wide range of designs available for a variety of newsletters. The toughest part of using iContact is deciding which design option to use. Also importing mail lists is a snap.
Occasionally the screen refreshes do strange things to the formatting. Usually resolved itself in a few seconds. Annoying because you suddenly see formatting which is not what you had input.
We send 2 weekly newsletters and 1 monthly. iContact saves countless hours or preparation.
I've used several email solutions. iContact is by far the best. It's easy to use. It's priced very fairly and the support is always there when you need them.

We have been using iContact for many years. We have an email list of around 200,000 addresses. We use iContact to maintain the email list, and to send targeted emails to the list on a weekly basis. iContact does everything - manage the list, handle adds/unsubscribes, provide useful reports and stats, and more. We also have a second need for an autoresponder to handle a smaller list of a couple thousand emails. This autoresonder contains around 100 messages and lasts around three years. We set up the autoresponder mechanics - everything else runs automatically.
There is nothing obvious that we dislike. We have had other email services in the past and iContact has everything we need.
We have had a weekly email since 2001 for customer marketing, branding and loyalty. This allows us to provide tips to our readers, and also keeps us on top of mind if they have needs. We are also able to positively promote our services.
iContact has made this entire process easy for our organization. As we move to a more focused content marketing plan, we saw the need to transition from a free service to one with more support and tools. As a non-profit, budget is always a challenge but our Strategic Advisor has made sure that we get the most bang for our buck!
I wish that I had more time to set up drip campaigns prior to purchase. You really need to have content ready to go before seeing iContact work to its full potential.
iContact has helped up get consistent branding across the organization. We have several different departments that have been accustomed to sending out their own thing. Now we have one brand, one voice. We will have data on volunteers versus donors versus program recipients and be able to make better decisions about what content to appeals to different segments.
I really like that I am able to upload all of our images and edit them inside the template. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the drag and drop feature and how I am able to customize the templates with colors, fonts and images!
My only wish was with borders being able to be added to individual text blocks to add an extra POP! of color or personality.
We realized that we are able to use the data for sales leads, areas of interest from our student engagement and what we should be focusing on for our future schedule!

Nothing. The product is great.I would say they should upgrade their DO not contact rules. We should have a change, in our business, to mark a company that we are emailing, out of business before we are marked, "Do not contact" in the file.
I can send mass emails out to a group of people without server problems, being black balled on the internet and can contact a large group of people in a individualized way and it gets the job done quicker.
iContact has an easy to use platform for creating great looking mass communications. The Customer Service I get with iContact is amazing! My CSRs have always been incredibly responsive. We are a small nonprofit and many of us are doing double duty. iContact is perfect for us to create polished pieces in a short timeframe.
There are some little bugs that we wish were easier to fix, but as I understand, this the case with many other products. For instance, we don't always love the way our emails look in Outlook but that appears to be an Outlook issue.
We have increased our use of iContact for marketing publications and have seen an overall increase in sales.
I use iContact quite often and enjoy the interface and the ease of use.
I wish there were more templates to choose from and the ability to easily customize existing templates.
