Love the easy to use interface. Our team has learned to use this and it's been a wonderful asset to connecting with our clients. The phone app is great.
I'd like to see more integrations with Microsoft Outlook (that's not 365).
We're using Insightly to improve our communications with clients across our team.
I like how you you can classify existing vs. potential customers
I wish that there were more filtering options on mobil app.
I am able to reach out to more customers quicker.
Scan business cards with your mobile and the custom e-mail address you can BCC to log things.
Some features have a maximum and they force you to upgrade
Working together and filing mail/contacts
interaction with other systems, email sending creates contacts, excel extractables.
customisation needed depending on definitions.
High volume business contacts and opportunity follow up.
Insightly's Task and CRM integration is superior to the other program I've used - being able to call up emails sent while looking at a task is of great benefit
We're a very small business, and ran out of space on the free plan. If I were bigger, I would certainly consider a higher level of service.
Communication with potential clients is much easier when you have all the previous notes and correspondence.easily accessible.
We love the ability to customize fields that is very important to us. The import and export feature is also important so we can make bulk edits. So far Insightly has been developed in a way that makes things easy to setup and start using right away, but also gives you a good deal of customization which is essential to the intricacies of our business.
Sometimes the import feature is a bit clunky and insightly fields themselves are not recognized, making things difficult when trying to import.
Managing our quoting queue, and also getting reports regarding quotes, sales, etc. The benefits are being able to look both at a high level with ease but also to get fairly granular and look at the details.
Most useful to me is capturing important emails and attaching them to contacts or creating a new contact and organization.
It's hard to believe tasks cannot be sorted or filtered. It's very cumbersome to make the tasks useful when I can't easily rearrange or sort.
Keeping all my contacts, history, progress, projects and tasks in one place that I can access from my laptop or my phone is a huge timesaver and keeps me better organized.
I really like Insightly. The activity sets are a huge time saver and great tool.
I would like the email features to improve.
Managing our client relationship.
Loved the full featured CRM platform in general and loved that fact that it was free for first two users. This allowed my small company to utilize a great CRM platform while we were small with no cost and as we grow we will become a paid user. I love this business model and am surprised more SaaS platforms don't take this approach.
The mobile and iPad app needs attention. Not nearly as fully featured and not very useful when on the go. The change to the new format left some features behind so it would be good to make sure all features come over when new platforms are released.
Sales activities are definitely much more organized and efficient once we utilized this service. Before we utilized CRM, it was only managed via emails and was not tracked at all. Now we have a very good handle of our sales activities and project pipeline.
I love how it connects to G-Suite and my calendar.
It isn't really meant for project management.
We are keeping track of our leads and creating follow up. This product makes it so any follow up does not fall through the cracks.
Insightly is a good CRM for the price point. The workflow is decent, it offers customizable features and training resources. I also enjoy the UI and overall look and feel.
I feel Insightly is lacking in a few areas, that more enterprise solutions seem to offer. One thing our team has noticed is that if you convert a lead into an opportunity, there is no "back button." This can be cumbersome if someone accidentally completes an action that they were not supposed to do.
Insightly is definitely helping our team manage our business development workflow.
I love that it's easy to start up and sync with my google account
I don't like the limitations fir the lower priced packages
It's easy to maintain customer relationships
I like the way it manages clients, it makes it easy to navigate. I can track things easily with the software. I can put notes, tasks, etc...that is very helpful. I think there is a small learning curve to the software, but overall it is easy to use. I found it a much better system then similar crm softwares.
I disliked the email templates, they don't seem to fit the purposes of the software. I know you can change that and edit it, but it seems like a bad starting point. I also think having to constantly update things makes the usage software a bit daunting, it feels less useful that way.
It solved the problem of organization for me, it allowed me to get organized with my clients in a way that's effective. I realized that getting organized was extremely beneficial to my business because it provided me the opportunity to stay better connected to my customers and clients.
It can serve as a singular place for all emails, documents, attachments, contact info, and more. Really great planning and organization software.
The interface could be a bit smoother/easier to navigate, but overall I am satisfied.
Cross-user project visibility, client communications, project portal.
Have been using Insightly for about two years. The best feature is that almost everything is customizable and it is intuitive to figure out.
Worst thing is that leads cannot be connected to organizations. They are only connected to contacts. You should be able to convert a lead to an opportunity. Not possible in their current set up.
We use Insightly to build and report on our sales pipeline. It helps us see how many orgs we have in the funnel across our different domains.
This tool is so compatible with Gsuite and so easy to use it really makes keeping track of clients and projects a breeze.
Sometimes it syncs into other gmail accounts.
Sales, lead nurturing, projects - marketing/sales
It is very intuitive and easy to use tool that complements daily use of Gmail for business purposes.
Insightly add-on keeps popping up at the bootm of each received e-mail on Gmail regarding Freshdesk plugin and I cannot understand if the recipient on the other side might see this as well.
I am using it as advanced planner that goes ideally together with Gmail environment.
BBC emails to keep track of them as Opportunities. Trying to follow up with prospects in my email isn't always effective even when I have tried to keep folders for them. With so many incoming emails, I would rather have the prospects logged in a different set up so that I can run through them all at once without having to do the email scavenger hunt. The reporting the system provides is ok.I haven't used it extensively. I really like the tabs for shared emails, templates, and scheduled. It keeps everything organized better than my email does. The status icons for tasks make it easy to keep track of the progress. I often have to follow up with several people and even little functions like this help me move along faster.
Though my use of it is limited, I still have not found any hangups or issues for the activities I use it for. Even though I stated about that the tabs for the emails options were great, I still find myself having to switch back and back to my email. I have to make a point to check both in the morning. It would be great if there was more integration with Zoho Gmail Business. Not sure if that is something that is already in place that maybe I have missed or need to look into for future use. I'm also using the free version since I'm an independent consultant and mostly work by myself. When I bring in someone else or use a back-end team I don't really need them on this system. I just need it to follow up with them on the progress of projects.
It's mostly for keeping track of opportunities and projects in a separate system than my email. As a consultant it works fine for me on these activities.
It's easy to use, great free version, can import/export excel contacts spreadsheet, set us reminders, pipelines etc..
there really wasn't anything that I didn't like
helping the bosses see where we are in sales with different schools, keeping correspondence/pipelines current, setting reminders/deadlines for important tasks; ability to be accessed by many people
Easy to navigate from task to task. Love that it puts everything in a chronological order so that I can see what needs to be done and whats coming up.
I do have some issues sometimes with the program being slow.
I am able to work closely with my boss to know exactly where we are in a transaction and it helps to keep our sphere up to date.
