The automated flows are easy to set up and they implement very nicely; lots of options to customize messaging for customers
Not email template categories could be more robust with more options

I love That I am Able to set my email and sms on auto pilot. As a business owner who's busy sometimes I lose Track of time and this is very convenience for me.
I dislike That there is an extra charge for sms photos and media. Most of our customers can relate more to visuals then just texting words.
The problem I having is that we have over 5000 subscribers but yet it doesn't same like our emails are getting send out to everyone, even after we select the audience and segments
Klaviyo is a great way to collect subscriber emails and phone numbers for marketing.
The price is a bit high and the backend can be a bit overwhelming for small businesses.

Great data, decent attribution model but a little rich, Attentive text is better but we had some issues with data sharing between the platforms so we are back

Klaviyo offers robust functionality for email marketing and comprehensive reporting.
The interface can be difficult to navigate and there's a definite learning curve.
We have been happy with Klaviyo for our email marketing needs.
What do we NOT like best? It integrates seamlessly with Shopify, with Attentive, and with most of the other tools in our tech stack. Analytics are clear and easy, user experience is great.
We tried the SMS function and found that it wasn't robust enough for our needs. We switched to Attentive and have appreciated having a tool that was built for the ground up for that function.
We needed an email system where flows were better than our previous host (MailChimp). We find everything in Klaviyo so much more intuitive and design-friendly. Our CTR rates and conversions have gone up significantly.
I like that the email flows are available to free users and that they are very easy to set up. I've used some other programs where the flows were only available to paid users.
It is not easy to set up emails that are not marketing emails, like order notifications. You have to do some extra steps that you don't have to do on other platforms that I have used.
I am able to easily capture sales that would have otherwise been lost using followup emails like abandoned cart emails. I save time because I dont have to manually set up several different emails since flows are available to me as free user.
The email builder is easy to use. The workflows are visual and easy to build.
As a fairly new company, they continuously improve the tool, which comes with some bugs each time something new is rolled out.

Integration with ReCharge could be improved. Revenue from recurring orders often gets attributed to an email or SMS campaign which distorted actual results.

I love that Klaviyo allows us to do A/B Testing for our campaigns and integrates with our Shopify store! This has allowed us to build campaigns around specific purchasers based on their spending history and product preferences.
I don't particularly appreciate that Klaviyo has no phone support for paid customers, and chat wait times can be high. This includes 30 - 40 minute wait times for chat support and 24 hour response times for email.
Klaviyo is helping is bridge the gap between our sales and our customer support. It has helped us create sale flows that target different customer groups based on their shopping behavior, what questions they've emailed about, their destination country, and more. It has increased our store sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Often times it felt like Klaviyo was more of a CRM with all the fields and customization you could house. It made segmenting easy. Best eComm email I've used to date!
I wish their texting solution offered responsive back and forth texting as opposed to just blasting out mass messages and not having reply monitoring capabilities like some others.
