Livestorm Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice

Livestorm is extremly easy to use, no need for lengthy onboarding. On top of this, when help is needed, they are extremly fast in answering and making sure all is clear.

At the moment, it is working as expected (we user it for customer communication) so there is nothing that I can mention as a disadvantage when it comes to our current usage of Livestorm.

Livestorm is helping us bringing our customers together so we can share our new product featrues and improvements with the ones interested. We are also a fun of using the chat and the pool functions.

It is straightforward to work with and extremely intuitive Not just in terms of setting up the webinars in the back end but also for anyone who joins in. I started with no training and it has been effortless to work with.

There isn't much I dislike. The only thing I wish the product had was the ability to readjust screen sizes for the participants to have a unique display. Also the ability to have a coffee break area where participants can interact for longer webinars would be cool.

Webinars became. A huge thing in 2020 and we needed a platform that was made for it with functionalities like pols, separate questions, host view and more. Livestorme was the perfect package for us ta that time.

The feature I like the most is HD recordings without any audio visual clarity issues. One can easily watch recording after completion of session also. Also such recordings can be viewed by registered users only, so it's highly secured also.

Process of registration of even is quite lengthy and complicated. Also features for design and appearance are very limited. Some of the features are really difficult to understand. Lack of instructions on each features make overall registration process more complex and difficult.

It makes easy to connect husdreds of customers without any streaming issues. Also because of good quality audio and video, it's easy to deliver the webinars with good understanding. There is no need to send multiple reminders of any event.

It makes the process of hosting webinars very simple and straightforward. I host webinars regularly and the email automations you can set and the recording it generates automatically make everything seamless.

I do not really have much negative to say, I do believe the UI could be a little bit better when looking for past recordings of webinars for instance but overall it's really good.

It's helping us host webinars for our customers from all over the world and it helps us automate things with the emails that we are able to send automatically to our customers. We post webinars about our most recently added features and through the chat we get inputs from our customers of ways we can improve so our customers feel like they are being listened to which is great!

- If you are doing webinar there is no indication if yu set up your audio or video properly without getting feedback from participants - Where is ways to ask questions and for the participant it is confusing when to use option to ask question when to write to a chat

- We use to arrange a live demo's for our potencial customer. - This allows for us to save a huge amount of time and instead showing the product for each customer separately we arrange live demos to introduce the product's capabilities, after that we arrange 1 on 1 call if customer want to test the product, this allows for the team to have efficient conversation and focus to their issues instead each time showing the product from scratch. For example if we have a 9 potential customer, 1 on 1 call if they do no see the product will take about 9 hours. (1 call ~1 hour ). If they saw the product the same 1 on 1 meeting cloud take up to 30 min (15 min for customer problem identification, 6-7 min explanation on how to solve with our tool, 7-8 min to agree on next steps), so the time spent with same 9 custoemr cloud reduces to 4.5 hours.

It's friendly-user and interactive. You can send polls and CTAS and prepare drafts for it.

I find it confusing where to modify some basic aspects of the Event that are not in the same general configuration screen.

We are imparting webinars and getting quality information about the people registered.

Livestorm has been well developed around the needs of doing online webinars and events. As a user I can control how to interact with the audience, set up polls, and review the list of attendants that can be used for later interaction. It's a great light weight solution that is easy to learn and use

There are no significant downsides to Livestorm, I would appreciate a subscription plan that could be a bit more startup friendly in terms of pricing. The free version is relatively limited in numbers of users if you are trying to scale an audience.

Livestorm easily tracks the registration funnel, allows me to set up the interaction that can be done with the audience (e.g. give space for sending questions, speaking, etc). and provides data on how many users viewed the webinar after the event.

I always liked the simple yet intuitive UI of Livestorm. You can easily find the recent, upcoming and the ended events. Apart from it, the quick data analysis regarding the registrants.

Till now, I haven't found any. The team is improving and upgrading the application and thus it runs really smoothly to host a live event without any issues. One issue they can probably resolve it, at times if multiple team members have logged into Livestorm, there has been lag identified while doing live event.

Livestorm helps me and my marketing team in hosting live events with 100s of registered participants. We are easily able to host webinars, both public and private ones.

The platform makes it pretty easy to host a webinar. You get cool features in the webinar room, like Questions, Chat, and Polls. There are also a lot of cool behind-the-scenes features that made the webinar process a lot easier: automated invites, automated email sequences, landing pages/forms, and pretty robust attendee tracking.

The only things I didn't like were that it was a bit difficult to create an event in Tag Manager to track registrations, and also that my team members showed up as attendees which skewed the results data a tiny bit. It would be great to have a tab for true attendees, and then a tab for team members, so you don't have all the data mixed.

It gives you a whole package for webinar hosting that would be a bit of a mess if you did it more DIY with various tools. The auto-record for example was a great feature, as were the automated emails. All in all the webinar came across as professional too, much more so than using Meet or Teams or something like that.

The branding options are great on the Pro plan, but they could be even more developed.

We had to test if webinars were a viable option for us, and needed a reliable platform at a fair price point. Livestorm works super well and it's an affordable option if you're getting started with webinars. It offers a lot for what you pay for, setting up a webinar is easy, and the features available make it pretty interactive when you're in the webinar. It's helped us reach new customers and educate our existing clients.

LIvestorm has been great in helping us get our webinars more professional, organized and actionable. Much better than trying to use something like Zoom or other web conferencing software. Purpose-built.

It makes even the most powerful computers work hard and sometimes manual clearing of the cache is required.

The ability to quickly jump into a video call is great. It is the best for office teams to stay on task and connected to the team.

The platform is easy to use and provides some useful stats (e.g., engagement levels, attendance rate, average webinar registrants etc.). Building a registration page is also really simple and intuitive, making it easy to use for both marketers and non-marketers.

I think it'd be great to improve on integrations, or offer them as part of the normal package (e.g., Salesforce). Hosting a series of events, compared to a single events, is also not as intuitive as it could be.

It's helped us host webinars both during pandemic times and afterwards as we have a widely distributed user base.

I really like how granular you can get when it comes to data of registrants on livestorm. I also really enjoy all of the automated email features, how user friendly it is and how there are new features appearing all the time!

There are still some challenges with really important integrations like hubspot but these appear to be improving with time.

It is easy to set up events and to invite people directly or to make a link with e.g. an external landing page. The sessions always went smoothly. The collected data afterwards is good information.

You are able to see who has watched the replay of your session. However, it doesn't give info on the frequency and the duration. In other words, you don't know how long or how often they watched the replay.

We use Livestorm to organise webinars. It is helpful to collect your audience and to keep in touch with them through e-mail sequences. Afterwards, we know who has watched and for how long. This is nice information for the follow-up.

Love how easy the platform is to navigate and how user friendly it is for the attendee to join the webinar. I was sick of my show rates being low on platforms like zoom because it required the attendee to login and remember passwords. The magic link to join is a much better solution. I also appreciate Livestorm's automated email reminders before the event which has helped my show rates. Overall, very happy with livestorm and while it can feel expensive, I think it's worthwhile

More flexible subscription options-- my company doesn't need a monthly subscription because we don't do ongoing webinars and would appreciate an ad-hoc pricing Also better hubspot integration for custom fields

I love the breadth of features, they've really thought everything through. You can tell this software was purpose-built for webinars unlike some of its competitors. It's very easy to use and it looks really slick too. It also automates reminder and follow-up emails and can make an on-demand version available at the click of a button. Very impressive.

The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with was the live demo quality. It's common for us to use demos in our webinars and unfortunately, this can be a little pixelated when done live.

The platform is missing an option to do a webinar rehearsal with ease, using the same template of the planned webinar, if this option already exists, then it should be made more visible.
