If you answer a question in writing, you can't then show the question on the screen during Q&A, which is a shame. For the recording it's good to be able to cover the questions one by one at the end.

I've gotten used to everything about Livestorm, and like the ease with which I can set up a new event. The Livestorm public-facing landing pages for events are customizable and look professional, and the monthly price for the use of Livestorm is great for our budget (many of their competitors are much more expensive). We've gotten used to the system and use it heavily.
The integrations with Hubspot are incredibly challenging and clunky; quickly understanding attendance metrics is cumbersome within the Livestorm website; we often face tech issues with the platform when live; and the interface isn't as user-friendly as I'd like.

Most people use Teams or Meet because you don't need to subscribe.
Sometimes with Meet, people don't have the administrator rights to share their screen. It's not the case with Livestorm.

I wanted to do a live presentation of PlayPlay at an online event. It works very well and all participants liked it ,so mission done.
Livestorm provides a lot more flexibility in comparison to the likes of Zoom and Google Hangouts. The ability to automate many repetitive tasks saves a ton of time and the availability of metrics post-webinars makes analysis much more seamless. I also love the ability to share different documents and send call-to-actions during webinars. These add a ton of value for participants. It's also great that I don't have to login to start webinars, the automation takes care of it for us!
The recording playback is somewhat slow. We used this recording for on-demand webinars but I'm looking at re-recording separately as the quality is just not up to our standard. Also, there are a few automation features I'd still love to see, e.g. timed call-to-actions to by synced with the recordings.

Livestorm helps us provide intimate help and value to our customers at scale. We're not able to do one-to-one calls with many of our users and a webinar tool like Livestorm allows us to do that with many creative ways to solicit engagement and build relationships with our customers.
The ability to automatically send out a pre-recorded video to participants once a session ends or is cancelled.
If I start a session early to set things up but leave, the session cannot be run again. E.g with Zoom, I can join a session to test things out, close out of it and come back later and run the session again. Livestorm, once you leave a session, it is finished and an email will be sent to all registered users with a link to the recording.
Running webinars with a better ability to run on-demand sessions (without anyone needing to be around to run it). For Q&A and Chat, very similar to Zoom but for video recording, quite good.
The instant meetings are very convenient and easy to set up / schedule
For webinars, the audience can't interact with the speakers - only speakers can speak in the call, the audience can't activate microphones. For sreen sharing, most of the time the whole screen needs to be shared, as sharing one specific window doesnt work.

The platform is pretty easy to use, providing the basic functionality needed to run live and on-demand webinars. Reporting is good. The event room allows for some customization and integrated features.
The team member setup process is flawed. I add a team member to my account and then they can't register to attend webinars. UTM tracking for email/social promotion when embedding Livestorm registration into my landing page iframe is not functional, so there's no tracking. Direct Salesforce/Pardot integrations (not having to use Zapier) are not available for the middle package - as a small-er business with a global customer and prospecting database, this integration is critical, but out of reach because of the cost. You can't run a multi-webinar series with different names for each session. Support response times are also pretty slow for the most part. Customization is VERY limited. I was sold on the fact that we could send customized emails directly from the platform, but you can barely customize them and there's a known glitch in the email header image where there's an opaque dark color that covers the image...completely unusable.
Honestly, Livestorm has only created new problems for me at this point as the functionality is not meeting my needs. I really wanted to love this platform, but it needs work.
It integrates very well with Salesforce, and the reporting and analytics are excellent. It works well for both live and prerecorded content. The Q&A and chat functions work well.
The landing page design tools are not very customizable, I'd like more ability to customize the look of them.
