I like the ability to customize. I'm able to build custom fields in excel as attributes for my contacts and integrate these seamlessly into my messages to make them more personalized.
The old dashboard was pretty useless but I like the new 2.0 one a lot. I guess I'm not a big fan of the site's color scheme but that is really my only complaint. Sometimes my larger campaigns are delivered slower than I'd like and recipients will get the messages too late in the day.
I use mailshake to reach out to industry leaders with special notifications and to promote my business. I specifically use mailshake when I need to personalize each message for each recipient.
Mailshake is the best platform to help you manage your drip campaigns in the simplest way possible. Dump leads, manage responses and organize them based on wins and losses. It's as simple as it gets.
As simple as Mailshake is, there are still some finicky things about it. Contact mapping continues to be an issue for me. I map out the first name of the contact, and it outputs the company name. Though the core feature works amazing, some minor features continue to lack.
I use these to dump lead lists into drip campaigns. We use these on a daily basis. I love that you can have multiple campaigns running and it automatically schedules the campaigns when you add names to the pot.
Mailshake is very easy to use. I can set up the campaigns with a few clicks.
The number of email scheduled is not fully controlled by the user & the function to insert image is not flexible.
I am using Mailshake to send out campaigns. It is good with large numbers of cold emails
The possibility to send many emails. More than hunter.io I think sometimes could be a bit priced considering that the support is a bit confusing. No inapp chat etc.
A bit confusing to build the funnels, the verifications sometimes fail and "user is on another campaign" never tells you weather the campaign is running or not. Replying from the app is not that awesome.
Email marketing, Benefits, the amount of emails I can send
Sending out 2000 emails with drip, tracking, and follow up working well
I wish the ability to see all clients was easier without having to constantly click the show more button - have an option to open all leads on a campaign Also wish you could search a name without having to open each a campaign
Reaching out to multiple leads with 5 or 6 email drips
What I like best about Mailshake is its simplicity and ease of use.
What I dislike is oddly partly what I like best about it. The simplicity is just too simple for my needs, sometimes but thankfully, I've noticed some upgrades/improvements on the platform. I just hope we can save our own templates instead of duplicating campaigns. There is also an issue I keep experiencing with message format where I duplicate a campaign and always need to correct the format of the messages. Also the need to check on what email account the campaign is to be sent from AFTER setting it up can be easily missed. It all gets time consuming.
Sending campaigns, reaching out to hundreds of potential leads and current clients is made easy.
- Has all the right features for a merge solution within Gmail - Has analytics, personalisation, follow-ups etc so is one of the most powerful on the market.
- Pricing per month is not competitive with other options in the field. - Others are much cheaper but do place limits on the amount you can send.
- Being able to email many people from your Gmail account to ensure higher deliverability and authenticity.
deliverability and analytics - doesn't get flagged as spam
format is insanely difficult to make look good
newsletter, email campaigns, readability
It's easy to get started. The campaign wizard & list cleaning solutions are helpful.
The Leadcatcher feature removes prospects from campaigns before you can actually determine whether or not it is for real. Sometimes it mistakes auto replies for real responses. And if a prospect is removed, there is no way to restart them in the campaign. It makes the Leadcatcher feature almost worthless.
Marketing automation & results tracking.
It's affordable and easy to set up - really enjoy using it! Also helps me automate a lot of my work and is like having your own employee. Main feature is how straight-forward it is.
Support is shocking. As soon as they told me I was getting $50 for a review, I notified them the review was made and they never got back to me. My emails have been down and I've sent them constant emails asking to fix it and they've still not got back to me 5 days later.
Increasing exposure and reaching more people at once. I find that I can target people who are similar and reach them all at once with specific messaging. The main benefit I have realised is the time saving it has provided me.
I'm not sure we've had it almost 2 months and I'm struggling to update upload the leads correctly to output the data in emails.
I've had multiple calls with multiple questions, and none of my questions have been answered. I've had multiple calls to request how to email sellers with the name of their business or any other variables included in the email and there's basically very few options for customizing, and really no help in setting up.
We're trying to call email with it however it's hard not to look like a mass email as it's very hard to customize the emails and it's a very dated product with no roadmap.
Only good thing is that it is not hard to use
I use Mailshake for emailing and my experience with it is terrible. First, it is breaking all campaigns (even scheduled), second out of office reply is counted as potential lead so it doesn't send follow-ups to those people. Third thing is that email support@mailshake.com doesn't work, just form that I dug somewhere but that is not the end. On my question why it breaks initial campaign and information that their email is not working I got an answer 'can you tell me when you wrote us since we want to ensure that we answer....' typical support answer but without reply on my problem. I wrote a couple of time since then and I am waiting for 20 days, no answer. So, an automatic tool that doesn't automate a process and without support. I would never go into such an adventure again. Paying for nothing, it doesn\t worth even a penny.
