I host a Customer Experience Podcast, called Science of CX and I needed a great solution to reach out to thought leaders. As I deal with experts in Customer Service and Customer Experience, I needed a platform that go my message through, followed-up easily and was viewed as important as it was a Special Invitation to be on my podcast. I found the setup of each Mailshake campaign to be dead simple, getting the contacts in was very easy and even testing different messages and subject lines was a breeze. Top Marks for building just the right technology that was within the show's budget (low) and even I could execute on.
I have been thinking about this a bit and couldn't come up with any negatives. At first I thought the speed at which it send out was slow, but then I realized it caused most of them to get through all the walls companies put up, I realized that was not a negative at all. I could use a little more detailed analytics on opens, but I think it is the level of account I have.
A simple outreach that offers a professional and personalized approach easy enough for me to setup myself and did not break the bank.
I love that Mailshake emails look like they are native to Gmail. You're not sending an email blast that looks like a generic newsletter which makes it super authentic.
The pricing is a bit high in comparison to competitors.
Mailshake now runs all of our cold email efforts. We no longer have to piece together other tools which has been a huge timesaver.

Mailshake is easy to use. The automation after creating your campaigns is fantastic. Has been a huge asset to our marketing agency both internally and for our clients. We have used a number of other platforms and had success but lacked the automation and simplicity that Mailshake offers. Head and shoulders above the competition.

I haven't used the platform thoroughly yet, but so far I honestly haven't had any problems other than the fact I haven't been getting value for money as we've been inactive (this isn't there fault). A on and off pause button would maybe be useful to turn your account billing on and off but by no means necessary and could potentially already be available. Like I said I haven't got enough knowledge on the platform to know! :-)
We're outreaching B2B and B2C through cold email. Before I was using Hubspot at an extortionate amount in comparison. And what makes it worse is Hubspot isn't even intended for large outbound cold email! I wish I found Mailshake sooner.
I love Mailshake makes it super simple to setup an effective email sequence with conditional logic.
I would have loved if there was a slightly smaller plan, maybe around the $29pm mark. Happy to have reduced features, as I don't use all of the bells and whistles.
We use Mailshake to send out cold emails to targeted prospects. In the past, we have seen a good number of appointments being set because of Mailshake sequences.
I love how it integrates with my gmail and that replies come straight to my inbox and I can send new replies from my inbox and I don't have to login to mailshake to check messages. I also really like the results I get from my automated followups. Another item is the useful tips they send via email. Most companies I roll my eyes at the mail they send to my inbox, but mailshake gives VALUABLE training that adds so much value on top of how I already use the platform.
There is a little bit of a learning curve and I'm sure I'm not using it to the best of it's potential, I just don't have time to learn everything it can do! But this is of course not on mailshake, it is on me. The fact that they offer way more than I have time to learn is a bonus in its own right.
I am following up with all my leads thanks to the automatic scheduling. I used to send one message and procrastinate on the followups and then eventually forget about it. Now I followup and it's bring me results in the form of new clients!
Mailshake is very easy to use, I can have a campaign up and running within 10 mins. The ability to have emails sent out on my behalf everyday in the background while I'm busy working on other sales opportunities is great! Shellie in customer service is amazing too, very quick to respond and extremely helpful.
I wish there were more customizable reporting capabilities. I have to put together a monthly usage report for management and currently I have to manually put together the information. I also wish you could change the amount of time in between each email being sent to less than 5 minutes, giving a choice of 3,4 or 5.
I'm able to reach out to so many more clients than I would if I had to manually send messages by hand, just a huge time saver. The ability to keep my clients informed and engaged is invaluable.
