Maggie and the team really understand customer service. They understand email reputation and how to prevent tarnishing it in a cold email campaign. I researched several of their competitors and found this outreach software to meet my needs the most.
Mailshake is so good at providing educational content that it can be a bit overwhelming. You might want to hire someone to help out here if you're limited on time like myself.
The dashboard is very helpful and user-friendly, and setting up a sequence is a breeze. Mailshakes ease of use and A/B testing makes you more efficient in your campaign.
Excellent outreach tool, ease of use, and great support team.
No major cons as of yet. However, it is limited to Gmail/Gsuite email accounts only.
Personalizing emails to different audiences have never been easier.
Mailshake automates all of my target client outreach in an easy way. I can set up my campaigns, automate a/b testing, and track the activity and leads my messaging creates.
It is a little clunky to operate inside. Would be helpful if the process was more intuitive.
This solves my outreach issues to thousands of potential clients. I am starting to get contacts built from the lists I have created and messaged from MS.
Mailshake provides the tools I need to manage cold outreach at scale, while still making sure that my campaigns are of the highest quality and fully tracked.
There were a few things, but the latest updates have filled those gaps, so honestly, I have nothing to complain about lol.
As a solo business owner, it is difficult to find time for sales while working "in the trenches", but Mailshake allows me to keep new leads trickling in.
They do an excellent job of keeping the process generally simple. I love that you're able to make changes to your campaign messaging afterward. I also enjoy seeing live data points to assess how well the campaign is going.
It does look a bit traditional in design. I feel there are some steps along the campaign process that aren't that necessary to total completion.
We are reaching an audience in more of an automated form, taking less manual energy. Optimizes time spends on the day-to-day and can work at all hours of the day.
It is just easy, and intuitive to set up.
Not being able to automate and utilize time when people are likely to engage.
Informative emails to large groups. Again easy.
Mailshake platform will relieve you of many recurring tasks and focus on what is important. The automation is smart.
There is nothing I dislike about Mailshake, does the needful
Email marketing automation
I love the ability to create customized outreach sequences that allows for dynamic fields to help personalize the emails. We've used Mailshake for many broken link-building campaigns and to promote new content. It's a very effective outreach tool.
Some built-in personalization tool in the system to assist you with personalizing the emails would be significant.
We've solved our outreach-at-scale issue and have built A LOT of links through Mailshake.
Automation with email outreach is imperative...unless you want to lose your mind. I have found Mailshake to be one of the best automated tools I have used to date. The user experience has been pleasant and smooth.
I have found the pricing to be prohibitive for what I was using it for.
Creating sequences (followups) was the most helpful. The analytics were helpful, but not life changing.
Helps me generate leads that allows me to run my business
Could be hard if you don't have a mailing list
Automating the process saves me a lot of time to work on other stuff
Features to automate email sequences and lead catcher are great.
They can provide more options to find new prospects compared to its competitors.
We use Mailshake to reach out to new prospects via email. Basically, cold calling emails.
Very easy and simple to use A lot of beneficial features Perfect for outreach campaigns
I'd say the dashboard can get a little bit overwhelming to look at when you're starting out but besides that, I have 0 complaints.
Cold email outreach, simple campaign setups.
As far as the tool goes, the ability to personalize emails individually with a template as a starting point. I do have to mention their incredible Support and Success teams, though - really love how quick to action and helpful they are.
I experienced a minor bug with their sequences - it did not send for a few days even after being toggled as active. I don't know how often this happens to other users, but it was a mild inconvenience.
I am making cold emailing more personalized and therefore personable - sending manual emails was a nightmare, but so was sending automated emails with no human touch. Mailshake provides me with a solution that has the best of both approaches.
Ease of use. All very inuitive and easy to set up. Once finished, forget about it and focus on the results.
I have nothing on the downside. It ticks all my boxes.
B2B email outreach. It works on scale, and allows you to get a foot in the door.
Analytics on emails, verification process.
Would love more suggestions on number of emails sent per day, etc.
I have statistics and verified emails, and it helps me a lot.
It's simple but works really well. Makes it really easy to send outreach campaigns.
There aren't any downsides that I've found.
It has saved me a lot of time when it comes to sending emails. This means I can spend more time on the important things.
I like how easy and reliable mailshake is. It is very easy to learn and onboard staff and once it's set up almost anyone can log in and start creating campaigns.
The design was just ok, but with the 2.0 coming online that has really been fixed.
As a small start-up, we have really ramped up our outreach and cultivation by allowing us to prioritize, follow up, and track leads efficiently. We found that what took 2 full time people in the past can be boiled down to about 4 hours of work to set up and a few hours a week managing.
Ease of use. It's simple, quick, and has decent tracking mechanics.
Sometimes the tracker doesn't count opened emails correctly, and the formatting of signature lines can get a bit too far spaced out.
Sending mass emails. It saves time, automates the entire process, and does a better job of getting fewer bouncebacks.
The personalization feature is really good. The email recipient can almost never tell that he/she received an email via an automated system.
Nothing yet. I only wish the price was a bit more competitive.
I tried the tool almost 2 years to reach out to cold contacts from LinkedIn. I got quite a few responses so it was very encouraging.
There are numerous aspects that I like about Mailshake. Firstly the interface is clean, modern, and intuitive. The system itself is easy to learn and guides you step by step so you can't mess things up. The Campaign tab shows your sending calendar, sequences and their responses, and your overall responses for the whole sequence. Helpdesk support is responsive and very helpful. If you are new to cold email, then Mailshake's onboarding is excellent. There are 3 separate weekly live webinars on onboarding, deliverability training, and campaign Q&A, where you can ask any question to the Mailshake team. In addition to this, there are several summary courses and blog guides to learn more about cold emailing and how to get the best from Mailshake.
The only obvious gap for me, and it's a small one, is that I would like to set separate calendar settings to allow email sending at different times of the day for campaigns in different time zones.
Cold email outreach for my lead generation services. It automates and schedules email sequences and notifies me when I have a reply. Automatically manages unsubscribes and leads won or lost.
The feature to limit the daily amount of emails
Not being able to add coupon code after signing up
Mailshake makes cold email outreach easy. Software is extremely user friendly and they have plenty of tutorials in their Mailshake academy that are easy to learn from.
Ease of use and great customer service. It allows me to send personalized emails to our clients to keep them up to date about our offerings, new products, upcoming events, etc. I love how it will keep track of clicks, opens, replies, etc for future reporting purposes. It also keeps track of folks that have unsubscribed and will warn you if you ever try to contact them in the future. Mailshake also offers valuable tips, etc when putting together emails and campaigns. They also offer free webinars on how the maximize your efforts in putting together and sending cold emails to potential clients. Shellie in customer service is fantastic too, she is always willing to help or jump on a quick call to go over any questions, etc.
The reporting isn't as robust as I would like. I'd love to be able to customize monthly reports based on how I use the product. It does allow for exporting into spreadsheets, but being able to customize would be huge. Currently I have to manually put together monthly reports that I send to management. It also doesn't allow you to edit email templates outside of setting up a campaign. I think formatting on the email templates could be a little easier. A lot of times if I copy and past an email into Mailshake it'll take some time before I can get all the spacing and font sizing to work out perfectly. I also wish I was able to edit the amount of time in between each email being sent to less than 5 minutes, maybe give the option of 3,4 or 5 minutes.
I use Mailshake as an email marketing tool to keep our clients up to date about our offerings, new products, upcoming events, etc. It is a great way to stay in touch and has produced quality leads for our organization. It is very easy to use and fast to set up a campaign that automatically send out messages based on dates/times, etc.
The demo they provided was really good as is their supporting documentation and training. The platform itself has everything we need without unnecessary bells and whistles.
I've had trouble setting up the Zapier integration for Hubspot. (that said they have offered to help setup that integration and have a native API in the works).
Mailshake facilitates targetted cold outreach at scale. The benefit is the ability to reach potential customers in a very efficient way. Their inbuild A-B testing is well worth the $20 a month additionally as it increases the efficiency of our efforts.
Extremely user friendly and intuitive, excellent service and support
Would like to see reports, or report capabilities, that capture integration of response data over multiple campaigns
No major problems to date
It is simple. I am a fan of apps that do one thing very well. Mailshake fits the bill because it does cold email outreach really really well. It is very easy to use, very intuitive. No unnecessary bells and whistles. And even with this simplicity, their feature to personalize emails for every user is phenomenal. Gives you complete control and makes cold email tasks less time-consuming.
I would like the following features, - a central list for all the contacts that have been added as part of the campaign. - would like the ability to add a follow up to a drip message
We started using Mailshake for Cold emails. And now we also use it to send nurture emails to our prospects. We love the ability to personalize email messages. You define a template email cadence and then go through each recipient and personalize their message. It is simple and effective.
Ease of setting up messages and editable messages in very personalised campaigns. The look'n'feel of the interface is very clean, actions are obvious and easy to follow. List cleaning service built-in makes this easy.
So far, there is no 'recurring' trigger (time based) for repeated emails. I am looking to set this up via Zapier or IFTTT. It's not unusual, most competitors don't have it either.
Servicing clients on follow-through programs: Benefits: Saving time and reliability and repeatability of campaigns.
I Am brand new to marketing and when I learned from my marketing consultant that there was a tool that could do what meal shake can do I was blown away. I've been able to import all of my LinkedIn contacts and my Gmail contacts to let folks know about my emerging business and it is working
This really is not a super robust platform. It's pretty simple. So I wish there was a cheaper option for very small businesses
reaching out to cold emails
I love the fact that I can easily use the old fashion csv file, mail merge it with their easy to use interface then incorporate the data into our CRM. The service has been great!
I don't know how to easily connect with my CRM but will figure it out, at some point.
We use it for current customers as it is EASY to customize our messages to customers with this - all text is all we need.
I think the best thing about the software is that you can use multiple aliases.. This means i can target multiple emails to different clients,
The main annoyance is that we can only see when someone has viewed an email only once..
it saves so much time from doing it manually,, that was its major benefit for me.
Mailshake makes it easy to contact prospect lists on specific campaigns as an email from a person, straight from your inbox. Our use case is in B2B marketing and SDR -- we have found it a great tool for driving engagement when paired with the right messaging,
Very minor - would like to see the amount of recipients in each list when uploading multiple. It also would be great if formatting started with the right font size vs having to apply, or maybe a clean-text hrml editor to paste direct code with clear formatting.
Mailshake is the best tool I have used to drive interactions with prospects in the B2B space through SDR or market development services.
