I vetted several companies before deciding on Prospect.io. While I have not seen all of them to be sure, I did look for around 10 of them before deciding on P.io because of its ease of use and functionality. Firstly, the value it brings is apparent. The software allows you to extract emails and easily insert those into campaigns. You may add your own list of prospects of course, either manually or through an email template for bulk uploads. Secondly, the UX is fantastic. Very intuitive, easy to navigate around. I like how the team as well has been very responsive. Whenever I need something, customer support always helps me out and provides relevant answers. Back end support is all too important, but probably often overlooked when looking for niche software such as this.
I am not 100% certain, but I believe there are some small bugs here and there that lead to redundancies in email blasts. Need to verify.
Have been able to not only source for leads, but also been able to A-B Test on lead generation campaigns, and the most responsive customer segments. Statistics are good and very helpful. Therefore, I am able to better identify which customer segments to target.
What we like most is that this elegant and simple to use software offers a simplified tracking of our sales and also the monitoring of unlimited potential customers that has no expiration, has nothing to lose. The exclusive management of our sales team is configured as a hierarchy of the company, where users can only see their leads and user leads that inform them. Distribution of lead at its maximum expression. Along with sending appointments to your favorite mobile calendar, upload files and more. At this moment, thanks to Prospect.io we can carry out a more detailed analysis, mainly for quality control purposes: the idea is that you can use it to verify the quality of the service offered later.
What bothers us is that if you want more powerful reports, more insightful audits, we had to look elsewhere to be able to understand what the software really specifies when it comes to resolving our sales with our favorite customers. Even Prospect is designed to show a summary analysis of a website, with the purpose of involving the company so that it increases sales simultaneously to eliminate obstacles that may arise along the way, as soon as a marketing project is proposed. In general, it has given us a quick snapshot of the website and how it compares with others.
This tool is very efficient and easy, since it helps us to put a foot in the door with our potential clients. We also have the benefit that allows us to clearly show customers and prospects where there are problems with their presence online and allows a dialogue based on facts about how we can improve it. Now we have a much better understanding of how things are going, and where they are going. It allows us to better understand our sales process and identify where we have to make adjustments. In the same way since Prospect appeared in our company we have improved a lot in: the administration of tasks, quotations / proposals, storage of documents and especially our sales have been more organized than before.
I like the user interface. It's easy to get started and create a drip campaign. I use the Chrome extension daily, mostly on LinkedIn and AngelList. It helps a lot!
There are a few key features missing but I know that they are working on, as we can all see on their public roadmap.
Faster prospecting.
It has simple UI which makes it easy to use to create automated sales. Its integration with Linkedin is very effortless. Customer support which was provided to us was quick and helpful. It also allows us to import our leads from another CRM which makes it standout from others.
Its bounce reporting feature is quite buggy and can be improved this is the only thing that I dislike other than this it is the best tool.
We are majorily using it for marketing purpose and email tracking. It helps us to analyze campaigns and helps us to improve our marketing. It helps us to generate more leads and potential customers.

Overloop solves the need for a company-based sales approach. Since you can find people, systematize communication through campaigns and, in turn, reflect the information in our CMR, it is a tool that in our case adapts well to what we do.
I love using prospect.io with linkedin navigator for prospecting purposes. It has made sales much easier. I also like that they continue to enhance and come up with innovative ideas. I'm happy they added the "unsubscribe" option!
The new update has taken away some options that we had in the previous version, but I have been told they are working on bringing it back. Another thing is the errors that happen here and there with emails being sent. Overall I really like using prospect.io. There's also no ability to view what links have been clicked on, only the general info that someone has clicked a link.
The benefits are the ability to reach targeted prospects obtained via linkedin and growing sales potential.
I like prospect.io's feature of being able to obtain emails through Linkedin or target website, and the easy to create/modify the campaigns. Especially the feature of allowing users to add custom fields for a email template is great.
I would love the service even more if I can get email addresses of people based in non-western part of the world, such as Japan.
Together with Linkedin, I find, contact, and engage with my prospects with Prospect.io. Without Prospect.io, it would have taken more of my time to find and contact a prospect, and not to mention not easy as much to follow up with them.
We found it quick to add people from LinkedIn, and creating campaigns was a breeze. We have experience with using their competitors, and Overloop was much more intuitive.
The whole credit thing isn't great, and they don't stand behind the quality of the data they provide. If an email bounces, it should be credited back to you.... after all, that's poor data.
Adding people from LinkedIn and then putting them through email marketing campaigns to bring in sales leads and also ensure the data we add to our CRM stays good quality.

Scalable marketing
When I started working with Overloop, when it was still Prospect.io, I really enjoyed using it. This was back in 2016/2017. I switched to another company in 2018 and introduced prospect.io there, it was easy to use and very user-friendly. You needed minimal effort to get to the thing you needed.
As our company grew we noticed that Overloop wasn't quite scalable nor did it really meet our needs in the end. The system was slow and couldn't handle all our data requirements.
For the time that we used it, it helped us to get data on potential partners to which we would reach out to using their drip campaigns/automation. These were very simple and easy to create, however getting the right people was difficult, we weren't able to extract the right details nor really find the right person.
Super easy to use and very cheap. Serve tried many similar told and this is by far the most easiest and top of mind for people. We received a 50% discount which made it a no brainier to buy.
Database isn't as accurate as the likes of zoominfo. Wish there was an easier way to extract bulk data as opposed to just what's shown on that one LinkedIn page (25 people)

Its fast and easy to import a list from Salesforce and or external target list from ZOOM info and set up your cadence for emails. I like that I can easily see who opened, clicked, and engaged with my email campaigns, and understand which of my campaigns are most successful (and replicate) Helpful to see what email campaigns colleagues are using and collaborate on best outreach.
It is a bit clunky for setting up automations. (or campaigns as they used to call it) The plug in for Linkedin does not produce confident contact info, and no phone #'s only emails. Emails also don't send all at once, they are sent in batches...a few at a time.(which I did not realize at first)
Sending out a campaign with designated cadence is up to me to create the message I want. This is ideal for a seasoned sales rep. Harder for a new SDR. I think prospect.io could be super beneficial if they had templates based on the best email campaigns from their users...to choose from for the newbie.

They charged me $300 over three months, and their customer service never replied to any message or mail.

Overloop is very easy for companies beginning their cold outreach and prospecting efforts. The platform is very easy to utilize and manuever, and the countless number of features and integrations make it a perfect brand complement to a completed sales process. I have been using the platform for over 2 weeks now, and it has really helped my company identify and find new customers through LinkedIn and other channels. It's very easy to implement and get started.
There is not much that I don't like about this product. I would recommend Overloop for any small to mid-sized business looking to enhance their sales and marketing funel.
A large problem that my company has when it comes to cold outreach is finding the right contact email addresses to reach out to. Overloop helps my team find contact email addresses, and then makes it a seamless process to add them into my sales funnel and begin outbound email marketing campaigns.
