The team at RingCentral has been dedicated to assisting us to the very end. We are still dealing with just a couple of numbers that need to be ported and they are hanging in there and assisting every step of the way.
In testing, the IT team did not think that the video conferencing feature was as robust as Microsoft Teams. They did not like that the chat in the video meetings wasn't easily available after the meeting was over.
RingCentral provided a more stable VoIP solution than our previous provider. It has increased our phone uptime.
It is easy to use even for new user set up and implementation, we never have any issues. If we do, the tech support team is quick to respond and typically solves problems in real time. There are many readily to use features and plans are accomdating to the needs of the business.
Honestly, can't think of any. The SMS TRC set up was a bit cumbersome and annoying, however I understand that is a carrier requirement and not necessarily RingCentral.
integration with LaborEdge - we are excited!
I have alswys had incredible customer service when I have had to troubleshoot an issue. The representatives are very patient, knowledgeable, and creative thinkers. They will problem solve until the issue is fixed!
I find the online interface challenging at times, when I want to change settings. But that is why I appreciate the live customer assistance so much.
Ring Central has solved outgoing message issues, extensions being reassigned, call forwarding. That is extremely helpful.
RingCentral is easy for employees to use. The apps are available for windows, mac, android, and iPhone, and they work very seamlessly. I wasn't able to find another platform that can centralize all phone, SMS, and fax needs in one app and connected to one phone number. It is also easy to add new users, provision deskphones, and send faxes using the Ringcentral desktop app's virtual fax printer driver.
There lacks option to use multiple caller ID's from deskphone. For example, other systems let me configure an outbound dial prefix which sets the outbound caller ID accordingly. i.e. dial 9+ the phone number for the main company caller ID, and dial 8+ the number for direct line as caller ID. Also would like to have shared voicemail functionality in RingCentral (general voicemail box that can be applied to several users). These options are not yet available in RingCentral.
Centralizing phone, SMS, and fax communications to one platform. Allows easier communications with clients and mobility because of the ability to move calls from deskphone to mobile app to desktop app etc.
I am located offshore and Ringcentral was able to help me communicate with my Client located in the US. Smooth transaction during application and clear lines.
Downside is the application to enable SMS, took a while for the application to be processed.
Right now my concern is the SMS activation for the toll free numbers to be used by my CLient. Ringcentral always gives an update on the status
complete admin dashboard, tracking abilities, recording ability
its a little hard to setup, the dashboard can be little easy to hover around, else its great
recordings, call tracking and then improving communication
I love that we can choose where the phone call should be sent, how the phones ring and easily forward calls when needed. Game changer for our business. We previously had an answering service, not only are we saving money but we are also more hands on with our clients.
My only complaint so far has to be the amount of spam calls we get. I'm not sure how these could be filtered out better but I am hopeful this improves over time.
It has solved our issue of answering the phone faster and getting in contact with our customers much sooner than our previous answering service. We have been much more personable with our customers as we have very much enjoyed!
Great customer service, super helpful, everything went smoothly when setting up the account.
Was having trouble being automatically logged out of the app when using it on my phone but it seems to be working better now.
We are able to have calls transfer to specific technicians from our main line.
I've been a user of RingCentral for almost a decade. When I recently sold my business, I looked around for an alternative for my new business. But RingCentral MVP was simply the most robust and most affordable for a small business. And the customer support to open the account and transition my number was seamless and frictionless. Customer support made it so easy and the follow up was great.
For my small business, all is working well.
I was looking for a system that aligns with my professional brand, but is convenient to use, mobile, and affordable. RingCentral checked off all the boxes.
One of the key strengths of RingCentral MVP is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for employees to navigate and utilize its various features. Whether it's initiating video meetings, sending instant messages, or managing voicemail, the platform offers a streamlined experience that enhances productivity and collaboration.
The international calling prices plans are not very competitive when comparing to other offerings beyond Whatsapp etc.
The video conferencing feature of RingCentral MVP is particularly impressive. It supports high-definition video and audio quality, allowing for clear and seamless communication between participants. The platform also includes useful features like screen sharing and recording, making it ideal for both team meetings and client presentations.
I like how it's a secure, intuitive communications service.
The only complaint is that when you schedule a video meeting with specific dates through Ring Central, when it transfers over into Outlook, the date changes so you have reinput the correct dates and times for the meeting. For some reason, Outlook changes the dates and times that you have set up in ring central.
Ring Central constantly tries to improve their product.
Integrating RingCentral gave me the ability to not have to use my personal cell phone while making sales calls, which really helped keep my work and personal lifes seperate
sometime ring central pop up wouldnt come up but it would still make calls which would cause me to have to reset my computer to get a call to stop ringing or it would ring and not allow me to answer
it's allowing me to keep work and home life separate, it also gives me the ability to change up my numbers if needed to change up my calling abilities for people who might be avoiding my calls
This company is very efficient, an.We contacted them about the office intercom and its working perfectly, we are delighted with the quality and service. Thank you
there is nothing to dislike about this company
Intercom Issued fixed
The best thing about ring central is that it is all in one integrated platform in which calls can be dailed...video calls can be scheduled..can set up voicemail for calls which other apps dont provide
There is nothing to dislike about the application however the navigation to certain options such as setting up voice mail and synchronisation of contact list can be made a bit easier
Its a all in one erp solutions that provides solution for calling(business development, customer support)mailing, video conferencing etc rather than using mutiple app
Setting up the RingCentral environment overall was extremely easy thanks to guided support offered by their implementation team. MVP is super easy to use and deploy. Our users are extremely satisfied with the user experience thus far.
Honestly, the experience has been smooth overall. We haven't gotten any bad feedback from our call center team. The user experience is easy to get used to, and the MVP tool does what we expect from it. No complaints so far!
The only thing we're working on is getting users familiar with call transfers. They've been having difficulties getting used to that one feature. Aside from this, I can't say we have anything else that we're solving aside from meeting our clients' needs.
The all-in-one nature of RingCentral MVP allows me to have one app running to take calls, send internal messages, and host internal/external video conferencing.
There is not a lot to dislike. They actively develop improvements and new features for the product, which translates to frequent updates and occasional UI changes that take some getting used to. But it is hard to be upset about a company improving its product.
Communications across the enterprise. We used another solution that pulled an 11th-hour bait and switch on us during license renewal. The decision was made to take a chance on RingCentral, and in a very short amount of time, they had us set up, trained, and using their product before our license had expired with their predecessor.
Being a remote employee, I do not have a physical work phone to take work-related calls. Instead, a work phone number is connected to the RingCentral app. Any calls to that number are directed to my smartphone. From texting, phone, and video call - RingCentral has it all. You can use the app on your mobile device or desktop.
Sometimes the app will log you out. I find this happens to me when I restart my phone. A minor hassle but any missed calls or texts are forwarded to your email as a backup. These notifications keep you up to date on the latest communications.
RingCentral eliminates the need to have multiple devices to receive professional calls and provides various forms of communication to stay in the loop at work. If you don't have the number of another coworker, the pre-loaded directory comes in handy.
Management is easy to use. Call quality is great. Tools are helpful to troubleshoot.
Like most vendors, once you get up and running with a signed contract, you lose the direct connection with an account manager.
Mostly audio and conference calling. Some video calls.
The convenience of making calls and not worrying about dropping calls during important work conversations.
I don't particularly appreciate that it times out after several minutes of not being active on calls. I wish it would wait a bit longer.
I can schedule my requests with the provider's offices with clarity and no disconnections during the calls.
i like that it functions just like zoom, it appears to be faster
other than not being able to connect it to my google calendar, no complaints at this time, typically used for client meetings
I notice that it is much easier to get external people onto meetings
