Scalenut offers three distinctly different instruments: a web content research and long-form article writing tool; a helper tool for generating eye-catching text snippets like tweets, Facebook posts, email subject lines, etc.; and a marketplace where one can contract other writers to scale up copywriting efforts during busy periods. Both the long-form writing tool and the short-form AI snippet generator perform admirably. The reporting part of the tool assesses the quality of the information about a given subject and helps me aim higher when planning my writing. The composition panel makes my job faster by helping me to avoid getting stuck on a thought or a sentence. I’ve found that very often I disagree with what the AI writes. But this is, again, part of the process and a feature, not a bug. We, humans, are very weird like that sometimes: we might not know what we want or what we need, but show or give us something we don’t want or need, and we will immediately know “this is not it”. Pushing and pulling the writer is the whole concept of long-form AI-assisted writing, and Scalenut executes it perfectly. The tool will push source data to me and let me start writing about it. If I find myself struggling at some point, it will pull me by writing the next paragraph. I might keep it, I might delete it and rewrite it myself. No matter what the outcome, I’ve gone past the point where I was stuck, and I go on from there. And about the short-form tool, I will say this: if the long-form writing tool is that posh restaurant where you only go to dine with a reservation and spend several hours, the AI copywriter is akin to your favorite fast-food joint where you like to go every day. I use it to create a brief Facebook post or a catchy email to keep my audience engaged, and then carry on with my more important work.

While I am writing this (October 2021), the Scalenut UI still misses some housekeeping features like deleting or archiving old reports. This will become an issue for the most productive users first. But, when I asked about it, the developer promised a solution was coming soon.

There is a growing misunderstanding that AI writes by itself. This couldn’t be further from the truth; AI doesn’t have a single original ‘bone’ in its ‘body’. Every word it produces is the most statistically probable word to follow after the last X number of words already written. Writing is still a human’s job. What a good AI tool does is nudge the brain in the right direction and remove the mental blocks before creativity. By providing me with a ton of related source data and the ability to kick-start my writing, Scalenut challenges me to write more and to write better, rather than approach the task with dread and fear of staring at a blank screen and feeling guilty that no words come out.

The report it generates is excellent, really helpful in that it shows how many images, headers, etc., the competitors are using. And it also shows outgoing links, which is really helpful for research. The writing part is so helpful when writing. It's great creating both sales copy and long-form content; you still have to direct it along and can't just click a button to get a perfect article. You always want some human input. I have used many AI tools, and when you think about how new this is, I'm confident they will be one of the top AI SEO writers in some months.

Since it's new, it does not have all the bells and whistles yet, but they are very fast to crank out features.

Time to write; before, it took more than 5 hours to write a good blog post, now I can do it in a couple of hours. And that's for great content.

It's not easy to take content from the research sources over to the content area. Most tools allow you to click and it automatically adds it. You have to copy and paste with scalenut which slows down the workflow.

The AI can be repetitive in its writing sometimes, but that is not a problem specific to Scalenut (Jarvis has the same issue).

Scalenut makes it way easier to add length to blog posts and pages that are too short. It's also great for writing content that's just meant to support your "money" pages and sites.

I like this product because it can be used for various purposes. It is a tool that can help me with SEO and I have to say that it does a good job in helping me get the rankings I want. Also, another thing about this tool is that if you choose one of its many features, then your website will be optimized by using AI copywriting which might not seem important but trust me when I tell you how much difference it makes! The more content your site has the better results you'll get from search engines so adding some extra words here and there really helps improve your ranking on Google's SERPs.

I'm still getting used to the tool and there's no major hiccups so far.

- The number of output words is quite small, only about 50 words per write. I need at least 100 to 200 words - Need to have other SEO metrics like keyword search volume, keyword difficulty - The output quality is still not stable. Doesn't always give good results

I am getting articles & optimization features at a time with a single tool. Previously I was using Jarvis + MarketMuse. But now I can do both tasks with Scalenut.
