I like how powerful and the ease of use. They have easy deployments as well.
I do not like the cost and how it stores users in the user manager.
It is easy to deploy websites and we were able to move 80 websites over to the platform due to how easy it is use.
The ability to make content changes with workflows and version history.
The lack of assistance within the application as it is a very complex tool.
We are currently not solving any problems but the benefits are we can have a non programmer make content changes for our clients instead of them being code changes.
Sitecore has allowed us to build out an architecture of over 1000 local hospital websites while maintaining centralized branding and design controls. Without the platform, we would struggle to create this level of localization and custom identity. We have built a significant foundation that future Sitecore modules can be added onto.
No dislikes: the platform is performing exactly as expected.
No problems Significant benefits: centralized authoring controls, global standards with local customization, amazing personalization and commerce functionalities, content marketing platform offers a great deal of promise for our future.
Our developers and content team can work together to define and implement pages and components that will be used on the site. The developers set up the content in a way that allows the content team to spin up new pages and content without having to rely on developers or deployments.
We haven't run into any issues that can't be resolved by our developers.
Allows us to set templates for content authors to use so that they have greater control in getting content online.
The best aspect is that it is able to do whatever you need it to do. As long as you have a good installation company to help you create the best back-end possible SiteCore is easy to use.
Sometimes the freedom of the system can create situations where things are over engineered. You need to make sure that what is being constructed is the best possible solutions.

I am very excited to learn more about the content Hub. Also, my colleague and I received a personal tour of the platform DAM capabilities and we are eager to get back to our organization and share what we learned.
Our search function isn't very good. This may not be a failing of the software - may be the way we have our content setup.
I'm not in the marketing dept so I'm not directly impacted.
built on the .NET framework. once you figure it out nice to customize your site
if you do not build it properly it will not work. we had our previous vendor partner build it and it was done incorrectly and now have to fully rebuild the site. it is not easy to upgrade
