Square Online Reviews: 4.2/5 — Solid Choice
While Square Online (formerly Weebly) is often seen as an entry-level website and CMS for businesses, marketers, and content publishers, its revamped and robust features offer so much more. Offering a free version and paid options, Weebly enables its users to build the websites and the content properties that they want, the way they want it. Responsive themes ensure mobile compatibility and optimized user experience across all screen sizes while powerful design capabilities pave the way for engaging, visually enticing, and on-brand content. In addition, native e-commerce functionalities such as order and inventory management, secure checkout and payment processing, and sales analytics make it a viable option among merchants to sell physical products, services, and digital goods.

Weebly manages everything for you. You can easily add products, get shipping numbers, keep track of views and purchases, and more with extreme ease. The templates and drag and drop functionality makes it so easy that my grandmother could use it, and as a matter of fact, she does!!
It is limited in what you can do, specifically in adding in your own program, HTML, editing the source code, and sling things like changing the background color behind the text. Also, having the website builder online is beneficial at times, but there should at least be a desktop edition. That would be great because you would get windows 10 notifications whenever somebody buys something, making long webpages wouldn't be freezing up because of taking up so much space, and you could work on the webpage offline.
I use it to create and manage my company's promo website and I also manage my grandparents' art sale website. It is very easy for my grandmother to process payments and send messages to customers directly
To start off with, I use the free version, so my options are limited to only free items. Even with only using the free version, I was still able to create a great website for the restaurant I worked at. It is easy to use and update the website, and you can run multiple websites under one account.
I may still be figuring it out, but listing menu items for a restaurant looks very lengthy on screen, but that is just a design flaw - most likely on my part.
We needed a website that was free, and that we could edit instead of having to go through others.
I was able to easily build our businesses website in a few hours and had it fully published. I added downloadable Adobe menus, a map feature and call feature.
There isn't anything I dislike about the Weebly platform. It's been very easy to use and update.
By using Weebly I solved our problem with having customers not able to find information about us. We receive exponential hits per week from potential customers.
What I liked best was how easy it was to create my profile and my website.
What I disliked was how much running around it took to get it live.
From using the site, I not only got my career started, I started learning the in and outs of websites.
I really like using Weebly for both my teacher website and for my personal artist portfolio. The web building software is user-friendly and the resulting website is pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate. I would absolutely recommend this program to other teachers, young professionals, and artists! It is especially nice to have the option of trying the program for free prior to purchasing a domain name or full account. I have used the free version for my classroom and personal portfolio for years, but am definitely considering becoming a full on subscriber because Weebly has been so consistently useful.
It can be difficult to save changes, as well as difficult to duplicate layouts. It would be nice if there was an "archive" feature of some sort so that it was not always necessary to re-create pages. Sometimes it's difficult to tell if changes have been saved, too, since there is no manual "save" feature prior to publishing. I have lost hours of work in the past due to network glitches.
Sharing information with my students, keeping a record of assignments and due dates, making resources available to students even when they are not in my classroom. It is very useful to have a resource that students know is always there in order to keep them accountable for their learning.
Weebly has made managing and updating our websites incredibly easy and quick to
We do not have any dislikes with using weebly.
We have consolidated multiple websites into one account so we can easily review and update our websites.
Easy to use, simple to update, looks professional and doesn't require any programming to operate it.
There is nothing to dislike. It all works.
A website (or many) is important for telling my story, building a brand and marketing my business. It is so easy to use I am able to have websites for many different sides of my personality. Why stop at one?
I really like the customizable themes and variety of membership options catered for each individual.
I wish that the domain could be smaller on the free membership option.
I find that to reach out to the public, I am able to use this for personal uses as well.
Weebly makes it easy for me to quickly update my bio, photos, and website style. I am able to navigate the site easily, make quickly changes, and have complete control over the content on my website. I enjoy having the ability to easily embed Youtube links, galleries, audio files, etc.
I have to pay to remove the Weebly tag at the bottom of my page. While not the most expensive subscription on the planet, it is enough to make me cringe.
I am advertising for my personal business. Weebly has given me a clear, professional-looking website I can direct people to. It is a great place to host my website, to store my professional videos, photos, bio, etc.
I have been using Weebly to build and host websites for more than 5 years. I find the program to be SUPER user friendly and great looking. There are a lot of reasons to use this site, the top 5 in book: -Easy to use interface -Great looks, tons of themes to choose from -Affordable and professional -Customizable -Great for hosting multiple websites
Very little to dislike. I have tried many other website building programs and Weebly is by far the best. I wish that the mobile version was a little easier to manipulate, but other than that I wouldn't change anything. If you are hoping to run your own website for the first time, this is the perfect way.
I have used this for so many websites. It is great for contacting and messaging, posting resume and personal information, crowd sourcing and doing polls for certain events, connecting through social media and sharing websites to other companies.
