Square Online Reviews: 4.2/5 — Solid Choice
While Square Online (formerly Weebly) is often seen as an entry-level website and CMS for businesses, marketers, and content publishers, its revamped and robust features offer so much more. Offering a free version and paid options, Weebly enables its users to build the websites and the content properties that they want, the way they want it. Responsive themes ensure mobile compatibility and optimized user experience across all screen sizes while powerful design capabilities pave the way for engaging, visually enticing, and on-brand content. In addition, native e-commerce functionalities such as order and inventory management, secure checkout and payment processing, and sales analytics make it a viable option among merchants to sell physical products, services, and digital goods.

I've used Weebly for 6 years, and they are always adding new innovative features to help me expand my business. Their themes are responsive design, they offer a membership platform, and it's easy to maintain my website and blog.
I don't like that I have to edit the code to change things like fonts and colors for buttons, etc. I like that it's a feature, but I wish they would make it easier to do. The problem really surfaces when they update a theme, and I've customized it, so the update messes up what I customized and it takes extra time to get it back to my settings.
Web design for myself and clients. Membership platform. Ease of use and management.
Easy drag and drop interface. Pages you create in Weebly look like the pages on the web. No surprises. Plenty of plugins to enhance Weebly are available. This is a great app for people who want a website, but do not want to spend a year learning how to use the app.
Minor dislike. I have a membership site within Weebly. When customers sign up, I do not get a notification. I have to manually check. Not a big deal, but it would nice to receive a notification.
Problem solved is having a professional looking website without of spending a lot of time. Benefits: professional looking website that helps me with sales.
Im a graphic designer so got little knowledge about coding. But through this and little changes in css I manage to publish amazing sites..and no one realizes its from a template!
The excessive fee they introduced on building an online shop
I can build sites without actually going into coding which i suck at
I like the ease of building my page. The templates for building the webpages are user-friendly and streamlined. You can build a sleek looking website with a simple drop and drag onto the page builder. There are many different designs to choose from. Video uploading is also user-friendly. It's as simple as uploading a video to Youtube, and linking the video to your page.
There's nothing that I dislike about Weebly. They've got a range of options for every user. You can make the choice to use the free version, or to pay for upgrades to make your site stand out even more.
I'm able to build a simple, yet sleek website to manage my personal branding.
At some point, I felt like trying something different from blogger then a friend suggested weebly. I was initially reluctant to try but did and it was really worth it. Its been about 2years now and I can say the experience has been amazing. There are very beautiful templates to choose from and its possible to customize them however I want which gives my blog this amazing look. Also, it is easier for my readers to comment which was a little problem before I switched to weebly. Its easy to use and requires no prior knowledge, you can also monitor your website statistics on your dashboard and also on the app.
Nothing at all. its a great alternative.
Blogging
I'm using weebly for my online portfolio for grad school as well as the website for my classroom. I love that it is very user friendly to set up and create new pages. In addition their customer service is great. I had trouble uploading a pdf using the scribd embedding tool. I contacted customer service, they had me send them the file and they uploaded it for me. There also are so many different ways to layout pages and it is very easy to adjust the page layouts.
It can be a little bit glitchy and it can be hard to update things when that is happening.
I needed a user friendly way to create a website for my master's portfolio and for my classroom.
The easy to use platform is user friendly and if you are not technologically savvy, this is a great website builder for you!
Sometimes it freezes up, or I have to refresh the page to see my changes. Also, it is 59 bucks for 6 months, or $99 for a year, on top on my $18 domain name, so the cost is a little high than some other website creators, but less than having it professionally built.
I have a clean, beautiful website I can easily update and people are finding me rather well. I have had over 50,000 visitors in 2 years.
Easy to use even for a beginner. I appreciate the platform and the ease of use. Customer service was easy to access and responsive.
Not much... Truly, a great software. Some of the templates seem to be too "standard." I would enjoy more customization within the website.
This Weebly webpage drives business. I have had an increase in referrals since having the website.
Weebly gives users the capability to build a blog or website with even zero experience. With the easy drag and drop building, Weebly will definitely be on my list of things to recommend when someone is just starting out or a pro.
Nothing! There's nothing that I've found so far that would need to be approved upon.
It's given me the ability to build blog posts the way I want them look - and not just according to a particular template.
I like how easy it was to use weebly to put together a website and buy a domain. They work with you and let you choose a theme and they're actually nice free themes.
I don't have too many dislikes. I disliked the pro, starter, etc packages because I thought I had to buy a package in order to have a site but you don't.
I'm using weebly for a portfolio. Compared to other websites I've used this one was the easiest to use and I switched from another.
