I can easily manage my website visitors, easy to chat with them.
There is nothing to be dislike at the moment.
We are using this for our website and platform and we are happy to use it because we can provide the quick help supports to our customers.
I appreciate the insights provided (how long people are on our page, where the traffic is coming from, how many visits, etc.), and the ability to view what the user is actively typing in chat requests.
Can experience some glitches with chats going missed stating that all users are offline while you are in fact online, but this occurs seldom. Sometimes there is a delay with these notices being sent to your inbox as well.

Tawk is one of the most intuitive software I've been introduced to in a while. Without prior experience with chat software, from the get-go, Tawk has won me. Setting up your account is nothing more than a few clicks, and, the most amazing part of it is being able to create as many personas as you want, and make them as different as you want them to be. You can be as private as you want, and still genuinely help users. While this might be the standard in the industry, having the ability to chat with up to four people at any given time and see what they are typing before sending the email, makes a world of difference in replying promptly and accurately. In the same vein, having information like location and email permits you to tailor the experience based to the users' needs. Tawk makes it easy for you to send the transcript to the customer when they request it. One of my utmost favorite features is being able to have your colleagues whisper (write replies that are not seen by the customer) to you on the same chat, join the chat as themselves or impersonate you. This has come in handy more than once.
While this might be related to my settings, there were a few times when I didn't receive notifications about a new chat, until after the customer has left it. This required a multi-step approach - emailing the customer to have the conversation.
Tawk is a way for us to support customers who want to purchase our hardware product. It is a very comfortable way to help with quick questions and clarifications, as well as a tool that helps us improve the information available on the website. Our sales have seen an increase since chat is an available feature on our store.
This software has so many features that I can't believe it's free. It's simple to set up, you can change a lot of settings to match your preferences and needs and it's available on both an app for your phone and on your computer - so you can respond to messages on the go. The chat button that goes on your website is customizable and you can choose what hours/days of the week it's available. It's definitely improved our website being able to offer live chat on it with this software.
Being free, I'm very content with all they offer. If I had to point out something it would be the overall UX that's not so intuitive. It takes a little bit to find what you need and get used to it.
It's great to offer a live chat on my company's website with it. We sell online programs and people often wouldn't finalize their checkout as they had questions or concerns. Having the live chat increased our sales, as customers can reach out via chat and our team can reply right away solving any questions.

I love the fact that I can chat with website visitors using my mobile phone, so basically at any time that is convenient for me to talk with prospective customers.
I wish there was a 'scheduled log on' feature, as I have to manually set when I am available to chat on the app. If there was a 'show as online from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.', that would be most welcome.
No major problems. The benefits include being able to engage through the mobile app with visitors no matter where I am - no enquiry or visit goes by without giving the visitor an opportunity to engage in real time.
It's free. Seriously, not enough can be said about good free services. Aside from it being free integration is seamless, the UI is great and very easily adjustable. The ticket system has been a life saver for resolving customer issues.
The fact that you need refresh and remind the software you are there is a little annoying. I would have preferred it to run in the background and just assume I'm available until I physically log out. That is really my only complaint.
We needed a chat for our site. We had tried other paid services like zendesk and they had a lot of bugs, like switching customer names mid chat, disconnecting etc. Also, the zendesk chat didn't seem to integrate with our new frontend. We needed a quick solution as the new frontend was buggy and we wanted to ensure that the customers could contact us if there was ever an issue.

That you have to login to their website outside of our Shopify account. But once it is logged in it no longer makes you do that.

Sometimes the dashboard information is incorrect. It wasn't too much of a problem because Google Analytics gives you all the same information. But if they have it I'd rather have it be accurate.

Tawk is a super helpful chat tool. I love that several people can view and join the same chat -- you can even join chats as another customer service representative in case the first representative got caught up in another task, which keeps the customer experience smooth and seamless.
I wish there was an auto log off of some sort to ensure that no one accidentally stays logged in past their work hours.
Adding a chat function to our business has greatly improved our customer communications. It solves customer problems in real time without them having to pick up the phone to call us, which many customers prefer not to do.
The cost of entry is free, which in of itself does not make a great product, but it helps when you are trying to determine how to enter the market of live online support. Where this really wins me over is the cost coupled with it's feature-set. You are able to communicate live with your customers across desktop and mobile, and still the base price is free. It has opened up a world of support that my customers deserve to have. And this coupled with other products like Droplr has been a real boon for my business.
I would like to see some improvements in the client interfaces. They feel at times a bit clunky and hard to understand. This is particularly the case when it comes to online/offline/hidden modes. It is very confusing how some of these features work. Also it would be nice to see some more polish to the UI in general.
Communicating with active and potential customers has been blown wide open for me. I am able to connect with clients and potential clients without any hassle. This increases my ability to support existing customers, but also win over potential customers because they know they can reach me easily.
This was not only extremely easy to sign up and install, but the ability to customize the interface to blend in with the rest of my website is great. It's also very user friendly, very intuitive. I'm recommending this to any of my clients that would also like a chat program for their websites. This product is great - and it's free, which is shocking. I'd pay a one time fee if I had to for something like this - I was going to build my own, but the fact that this is free is very much appreciated. I also really like the business model, and if I find that my business needs in relation to customer support increase I'd be happy to purchase anything they have to offer at that time.
There isn't anything I've found just yet that I can complain about. I'm just filling up this 'dislike' box because I have to at this point.
Providing multiple paths of communication for all customers is awesome. Some users like live chat, some just want to use a contact form, and others like to talk on the phone. I'm now offering all forms of communication, and this chat program is the icing on the cake of my website.
First of all, its free! I've tried different online support platforms to integrate a live chat on my site and this is the best one I've found. Its really easy to setup and it also provides an app for many platforms (I'm using it on my mac and iphone) to keep track (and answer) all requests. It even has a real time visitos tracking! :)
I find that the mac app sometimes hungs unexpectedly. Or closes the session without any warning. This is the only think I dislike.
My website is sometimes confusing to the first clients. adding a live support chat let me solve all visitors doubts, turning them into clients.
