I love the desktop app as well as the phone app. It is very customization and easy to setup and use. Best of all its free in every way with out restrictions that I can find. It also has an amazingly quick update and response time to changes made, like an agent going off and online.
I don't dislike anything about it except that its branded, but its free after all. I also am sad that it doesn't directly connect with my help desk software, but that isn't Tawk.to's problem.

The notification alert settings are simple to set up but they do not work for some time, which causes us to miss the chat. However, we have worked around this issue by sending us an email for any missed chat

Tawk is amazing, it is the best free live chat solution for any business. I have been using it for over 6 months now, and I couldn't be happier. It is packed with features and integrates with many big eccomerce apps.
The only thing I dislike is the emails. I only have one live chat agent and myself that replies to requests; whenever we miss a request, I recieve two emails, it isn't the end of the world but it's a pain. Going through the settings, you can't change it either. The customer service team is also okay; it's definitely not the best. All the things they say are just copy and pasted from a script they have.

Tawk.to is the best live chat solution for every business website. It has many powerful features. For example, the knowledgebase is integrated within LiveChat, Canned quick replies, has many customisation options, and alerts when the agent is already serving the customer.
Data management needs to be optimised as the pre-filled form field doesn't store in a database. Or should provide an option to keep database via webhook or google sheets.

A lot of features you would expect to pay for with others but not with Tawk. The live chat is great and we don't have to pay per user.
The UI is a little outdated but it does the job and exactly what we need.

I know Tawk Chat very well since my first job. It appeared to be very helpful to communicate with online visitors and automate some of that communication. No I often use Tawk on my personal landing pages. For example if there is a vacancy on our website, I ask to add Tawk code on that page so I can reply to candidates immediately.
The best way to use Tawk is on the desktop. The mobile app is good, but I would prefer more "aggressive" notifications options, so I do not miss out on any of the messages. And believe me, I often miss them.

It is unfair to complain about something you get as a freemium. If you use Tawk long enough to learn all of its features, there is nothing to complain. If they add a feature to integrate Tawk with some other messengers - that would be fantastic.
If any of my websites or websites of my customers need an online chat, I install Tawk. For many years it is the most trusted service for online chat option both for online shops and for other commercial websites. Very informative, nice notifications, good statistics and user info.
It had knowledgebase where we can post FAQ and some extra informations. But it needs to be improved. It is totally free.
You are not able to add shortcuts to go to a title. You cant save the IP of visitor or ticket sender.
