Compare WebWave with other popular tools in the same category.
- easy to use, very simple to pick up - good for newbies but powerful enough for more experienced web devs - packed template library with good variety - free SSL
- Expect a learning curve for the bit more advanced tools in order to utilise the platform to the max
I'm able to create websites on the go - quick, intuitive and functional.
Webwave is intuitive, therefore just by blocks and templates I am able to create websites for my target customers fast and easy. What I like most about it (except the amazing price) is the fact that I can collaborate in real time with my customers and receive feedback. In this way, I am making sure that I am not wasting time with wireframes and other stuff like that.S
The interface should focus on the most used features and those should be extra-bold, and more easily noticeable. I mean, most small business owners are not really designers, they want fonts, lots of templates and simple drag and drop. They might notice the part of the importance of the order of layers if they are rested, but more probably they just want to click on something and just have the most usual functions appear in a small pop-up bar and that's about it. This is what I would bring forward in this already mature product.
Creating beautiful websites with simple drag and drop functionality for clients that are mostly non-technical and want to offer their input live, where their collaboration is paramount
Webwave is a popular saas website builder that offers a variety of features and tools to help you build high-quality, secure websites. Some of the pros of using Webwave include: 1. User-friendly interface – The Webwave interface is easy to use, even for first time builders, making it a great choice for those new to webbuilding. 2. Wide variety of templates – Webwave offers a wide range of prebuilt templates and themes that can be customized to easily create unique websites. This makes it an ideal platform for starting out as well as more experienced web builders who want quick and easy access to many readymade designs. 3. Affordable pricing - direct competitors charge way more than Webwave does. It's also incredibly agency-friendly, with dedicated features for agencies and a really small price for what it offer.
The main downside of using WebWave is finding an expert who knows how to use the tool can be difficult. Additionally, because WebWave is a web-based platform, it may not be compatible with some IT systems. Expanding the basic capabilities of the platform is impossible without a deep knowledge of multiple coding languages, and this may be a big drawback for those used to Wordpress and its plugins.
It's a great web builder, so I'm using it to build simple websites, but I'm also considering using it for agency purposes since it can be white-labeled and offered to my clients with my own branding.
I've been using WebWave for just over 2 months and I'm delighted with all the tool's possibilities. In my opinion, it's better than many others on the market because it has features that I haven't seen before, such as: it turns the website into a simple browser application. And it's the only one (that I know of so far) that offers the free option to add HTML tags. Not to mention the service that is always very fast and live in the chat that needs no comments. More than excellent!
Unfortunately, the lack of possibility to configure DNS directly on the panel is something very annoying! But that all the benefits pay off. For this reason I can't give the maximum score. And also of not meeting my language (Portuguese) yet.
WebWave exceeded my expectations regarding the always available service. This differential is what I cherish the most. And that's why I believe it is the best benefit, in addition to the excellent quality of the builder.
It is very easy to design the website exactly the way you want it to display.
Specifically for the Agency Plan, not being able to automatically generate a client account on sign up.
Create accounts for clients who want a website that allows them to drag and drop and design the website easily without any technical/plugin issues.
Webwave is one of the most user friendly site builders ever. But don't be fooled by the ease of use. Webwave is also one of the most powerful and precise builders as well. Tha ability to place every element and item with laser accuracy is something I have never experienced before. There are others who claim similar abilities, but none that deliver in such a user friendly interface. Bottom line is that Webwave is an amazing package deal from single website owners all the way up to agency builders. Collaboration is a snap as well as billing and approval workflows. Hosting is top rate and very affordable too.
A bit of a learning curve, but that is to be expected with any advanced tool. If you have any experience with PhotoShop or any of the big graphic editors out there, the interface will feel familiar.
Webwave has given us the ability to add agency clients without any limits. Once we exceed our package number of hosted sites we can simply add more as needed, under very favorable terms.
Webwave opens new custom webpage construction, which is basically impossible with WordPress or other drag and drop builders. Webwave also delivers .com name services connected easily with your pages. There are some basic infos such as page statistics, and SEO tool. You will get email address with the package. You can customize the page look to be something totally different than mainstream boring www-sites. There should be an automatic backup for pages and other quite excellent tools embed already.
You may have other SaaS tools which require storing json and js components into the root folder. This is not possible with Webwave unfortunately. Also php code to be stored to the backend is not possible. For these reasons, the match with other Java script tools usually working with WWordPress or other page builders may be a better choice.
Take this tool if you like to build more customized look for your homepage. There are cms for different languages, which helps a lot for translations. Also you may adjust page view in windows/tablet and phone.
Easy to use overall, the final product looks good, tech support is helpful and responsive
Some steps are overcomplicated or do not have automation to make the building of sites fast enough; there were some problems with instructions only available in non-English
I needed good looking sites built by a novice with no experience in site building; this was a good platform, got sites built, look good.
Everything you need to launch a website, great designs, blogging feature, shop feature, email. You can purchase URLs as well, but I've generally purchased elsewhere and then pointed them to WebWave.
If you fully integrate the domain name you're unable to manage DNS settings and add things like CNAMEs. There should be the option to be able to manage these settings in the admin dashboard.
Create a great-looking site very quickly in an uncomplicated way. Great if you're looking to start a web design agency as it has a customer feedback system and the entire setup can be your brand so they don't see WebWave branding.
The ease of use , and its versatility . engagement with clients also is a very attractive functionality
So far I have not discovered any downsides to using the web builder yet .
Being able to get website designs out to clients quicker and grant them access
