I love how easy it is to replace videos on Wistia. It saves so much time not having to re-embed videos when we have minor tweaks to make to our content.

I don't dislike much about Wistia. I had to make a suggestion, it would be great if you could download uploaded thumbnail files.

Wistia makes it easy to report on how our content is performing.

Wistia makes it easy to organize and embed video files. We our content sorted into folders and we have it wired up to report to Google analytics. I also like that I can include a caption file.

I can't think of any downsides to Wistia.

We just needed to put our training videos in an accessible place.

I like that I can see how many people viewed the video. This helps ensure that students are watching the materials I posted and benefiting from the information.

I wish I could see statistics for when students stop watching a video (YouTube has this feature). This can help me encourage people to go back and finish the whole thing.

I like that videos can be edited now and the auto-captions are easy to generate, I don't fix them, but it's nice to know I could if I wanted to. I use this platform mainly for teaching so accessibility is important.

We use wista for our video hosting - especially for the online lessons for our programs. It's an easy platform to use and would recommend it to everybody

I love that the Wistia platform is minimalist (in my opinion), which is great because I tend to get distracted easily.

Wistia helps keep track of videos we use for our clients and marketing. I don't know what we would do without it, honestly. I love the embed feature, especially for creating knowledge bases and other assets.

The only trouble I have had is with managing permissions on the pages. Sometimes we need to give permissions for a singular folder to an 3rd party and it sometimes doesn't work the first go around without giving them full permissions.

Wistia solves an organization problem, formatting problem (embed), and also allows us to keep everything in one place which is awesome compared to scattering things throughout individual google drives throughout the company!

I really love working with the Wistia platform. I have been using it for a number of years now and all the features Wistia have are really easy to use. They are constantly listening to customer feedback and adding more great features. The support is always fantastic too. Really nice to deal with.

I would love to see more analytics on the podcast side but I hear there are plans for more in this area so hopefully they will roll this out soon.

We needed more control over our videos on our website, playlists and customization of embedded forms and CTAs. It is benefiting as an easy place to manage and host videos, see analytics and add leads straight into our CRM from CTAs and embedded forms. Very powerful platform.

The quality of the videos maintained upon upload is perfect. There are great organizational features, settings for public and private sharing, and compatibility when using across platforms.

I would like to see even more organizational features and perhaps a change in aesthetics while maintaining its user-friendly interface. Otherwise, the host does exactly what its meant to.

Storing large video files in a way that can be either public or private, allowing users to import videos directly from Wistia to websites, emails, and other platforms that allow for custom coding.

I'm a tech writer and my teammate is an instructional designer; we use Wistia to leave feedback and discuss content, and I love how easy Wistia makes this with the time stamp feature, so we always know exactly what point in the video we're talking about. I also love being able to download audio transcripts to be able to revise for the documentation I write.

I really enjoy Wistia, so I feel like my complaints are limited to nitpicks like having to re-enter my name every time I leave a comment on a video. The way videos are organized does sometimes confuse me.

My team is fully remote, so Wista makes it easy to collaborate on projects together. It also eliminates the need for me to take down audio transcripts myself since I can download them from Wistia--it saves me a huge amount of time.

It's super easy to use, and doesn't require any training to get started. I like that I can create a folder, and then sub-video folders for translated versions.

Honestly, not much. I haven't ran into anything that wasn't "priveledges" related that caused me any problems. I think they could update the player interface/controls but otherwise it is nitpicky

This is a landing place for allot of our internal content for training and education - our partners use the content service as part of our certification program. it works great because we can link and embed things as needed

Wistia is helpful for organizing videos for our marketing, and when quick edits are needed it's simple to do using the built-in video editor.

Wistia causes webpages to load more slowly than natively hosted video which could impact Lighthouse scores.

Wistia allows us to display our videos in a branded player and with no fear of ads or other video suggestions like YouTube.

Easy to share with colleagues, send recordings, quick videos, and more. I like the customization features too! It's easy to add any call to action and hyperlinks.

I would like to quickly add images to videos. It would be nice to have the functionality as is. Also, I discovered Happyscribe lately, that would be awesome to have implementation with it!

Wistia's interface is easy to use and offers a lot of configuration flexibility and powerful features. The performance is always top-notch, so their servers seem dialed in. They also have a lot of resources to help people get started in creating quality videos.

The only possible "complain" is that the plans can get pretty expensive, but you are definitely getting what you pay for.

Our favorite thing about =Wsitia is the level of customizing you can do for videos embedded on our site, and the analytics you get from the videos watched on your website. Compared to embedding Youtube or Vimeo videos, Wistia is far superior.

Wistia's channel feature could have higher levels of customization to help our dev team more closely match the channel to how to rest of the site looks, but it still looks great as a standalone page.

We had Youtube videos embedded across our website and landing pages. These videos could not be customized to match our branding and there was no analytics behind how videos performed on our site. Wsitia helped us solve this issue and our video has become a massive part of our content marketing strategy because of Wistia.

Wistia is a great video provider. It allows me to centralize my video strategy into one single place and organize my content with channels and projects. The features to customize each video is super useful to optimize the strategy. The turnstile feature and the integrations with Salesforce and Pardot are major aspects for us.

I don't like that it doesn't have transcripts in multiple languages. This would be very important for us since we have a global strategy in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Mostly lead generation through videos, allowing us to create an on-demand webinar hub and capture leads through each video. This was the main reason why we chose Wistia.
