The fact that when you're editing a website, it becomes a slow process from time to time (because it gets stuck). It's also hard to find images.

Work around options make customization possible to the point where you don't know it's Wix. For instance, I can spot a Squarespace site template very quickly even after customization. This is desirable in this age when websites are a dime a dozen.

There are some limits. Currently I have a client who is about to go over to wordpress for more customization / html.

Por último, aunque no lo he utilizado, destacaría el soporte e-commerce que tiene Wix, si lo que quieres es desarrollar un negocio de este tipo Wix es la mejor herramienta para ello.

Relatively speaking, WIX is easier to maneuver than other web site builders. And they made it easy for us to transfer our site from our previous provider. I like that they offer several add ons, many of which are free for premium customers. I also like that I can maintain a free backup of my sites and that updates made appear instantly after publication. They also offer a good variety of templates and easy ways to link up with social media.

The only problems that I have had is that when the blog was updated, it did not seem to link up with or convert my old blogs. Granted I'm not that high tech and may have missed something, but I now show two blog sections on my site and would like to know how to combine them. I am sure there must be a relatively simple way. I wish they would let me know what it is though.

We are now able to more effectively spread information about our company and products through the social links on the website as well as develop more creative marketing.

Wix provides users with many templates from different categories, business, resume, product and etc. According to your requirement, you can choose whatever you like. And if you want to own your website address without wix words on it, you can pay for your own website name.

If you don't pay, your personal or company website would be represented with "wix" words. It looks a little unprofessional. But actually I pretty understand this strategy as a marketer, it's reasonable.

We can create a website by ourselves according to what we need and what we want easily. Because there are many templates and edit tools can help us to do. After finished your design, you can also pay for your domain website name to Wix .

I love how easy it is to build a Wix website. The GUI is the best I've seen and it's a snap to publish the site.

You don't need to be a web design expert to use Wix! The templates are easy to navigate and customize. Anyone could log on and quickly build a basic, usable site within a couple hours.

Wix notoriously does not have the best SEO. Other services such as Wordpress and Squarespace are better in this area.

Wix's widgets make it very easy to build a basic website. It's very easy to select different elements and move them where needed. They're also very customizable, so even though Wix is largely template-based, it's very easy to make it look like you coded it yourself.

Some widgets must be paid for in order to use their maximum potential. Also, there are sometimes bugs with the site where something will not save properly and you'll need to reload the page.

We were able to create an entire customizable website using Wix without having to hire a webmaster or coder. Although it had a learning curve, it saved an immense amount of money.

I like that you can submit an answer and they get back to you within a few days.

What I dislike about it is that if you need a rapid response you won't get it. This can be frustrating if you need help with on area on your website before making it "go live."

The business problem I'm solving with Wix Answers is making my homepage user-friendly on all mobile devices. I have realized that they give me helpful suggestions and new tools to work with.

Wix is a fantastic platform to host your website. I designed our company's website on Wix, and I had such a great user experience. Wix has fantastic add-on services that allow you to collect payment, retrieve data for visitors of our site, and so much more. Wix is has great formats, and already designed websites that can help jumpstart your website. I could customize almost everything within Wix and really tailor our company's website to our overall goal and mission. We also really love Wix Marketplace, we are able to sell products that we create in house and sell them to a large audience.

There are only a few things I dislike about Wix. One being that when trying to add a vector shape, you can not totally customize the height and width of the shape. For example, I had tried to add a rectangle, and Wix had the dimensions already locked, so I could only make the shape larger or smaller. I was not able to customize how tall or wide I wanted the shape to be. This would be one thing I would appreciate as the user for them to adjust on the back-end of Wix.

We are reaching a larger audience then we did previously when using Wix. Our company was really pleased with how user-friendly it was so we didn't have to pay another web design company to design our website, we could do everything in house. As I stated above, Wix has benefits like it being very user-friendly, the capacity to add-on many different programs (such as payment, and marketplace).

There are great designs to choose from. Installation is really easy and there are tons of plugins available to customize your site. The designs to choose from are really good and for blogging pages it works really well.

If you are a bit of an expert, the product seems a bit basic. You cant edit the HTML of the site. It is not really "open".

With WIX I am able to create a website in simple steps. Its a great solution for new users, but for people with deeper knowledge there are better options.

Wix is the best option there for people that wants to create a website without having to think a lot in the process. I would recommend it for people that do not want to have an e-commerce, even when there are plenty of plug ins for it.

Everything on Wix was extremely customizable. We could make the website look exactly how we wanted, and could change even really small details to make it fit with our brand. It was also really easy to fit the site to what we were envisioning.

I loved the product, but it was a little expensive to publish the site, especially with a domain compared to the competition.

Wix's website editing is quite simple, allowing for quick and easy updates for someone who does not code or have more advanced knowledge of web development.

Getting to the edit screen requires a few steps that make it less convenient to just go in and make an update. It is also sometimes difficult to know whether the issue you'd like to edit is under "Design," "Setting," "Layout," etc. The differences between is never quite clear and sometimes seems inconsistent

Wix has allowed me to easily develop a basic personal website, which has helped with employment search and promotion of my writing. The website is fairly simple, but it also doesn't take up too much time, which is appreciated.

I built a sucessful web hosting business, started in 1997, in 2008 I left the industry, forgot all my skills learned back then, when it came to building a quick professional website, i turned to WiX. I was able to create a site with my smartphone in less then an hour!

No free plans available, I am just starting my new business, so i have no funds for website hosting.
